HEALTH: SEX ADDICTION Hyper Sexed Sex addiction is an affliction of the times. Cure lies in solidarity. One of Arjun’s earliest memories is a sexual one. Even today, each time he goes back to his village in Andhra Pradesh, he becomes that four-year-old enticed by his older cousin into playing ‘sex games’. While the other kids played in the fruit orchards, they took turns pulling down each other’s pants and revealing their genitals. It was a pow­erful experience recreated over and over again over eight years. But what started as a ‘boyish pursuit’ soon took over his whole life. “By the time I was in high school, I was proving my masculinity by abusing a female cousin to quench my insatiable hun­ger for sex,” notes Arjun, PhD scholar by day, sex addict 24/7. He’s 29 and it’s like his life has already fallen through the cracks. The ‘disease’ now has a life and agenda of its own, manifested through anonymous sex, compulsive masturbation, obsessive fantasising and internet porn. “When I wanted to ‘act out’, the urge didn’t go away, nor did I feel satisfied after the fix,” admits Arjun. “It’s an affliction that costs you time, money, relationships, jobs and even freedom, but the consequences do not limit your actions.” Things came to a head, however, after he got into the pro­s­titutes grid. “I was guilt-ridden and esc­­aping from everybody. At one level, I thought it’s dangerous, but at another the thought of having multiple partners was invigorating.” It was this despair that fin­ally led Arjun to Sex Addicts Anony­­m­ous, a self-help group in Delhi that runs on the principles of Alcoholics Anonym­ous and deals with addictive sexual beh­­aviour (SPYM building, 111/9 Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, Sector B4, Vasant Kunj, Delhi. So when you share your thoughts and with people some of whom have had worse experiences, it gives you a little courage,” says Arjun. It’s been only two months but some well-planned dea­d­diction sessions have launched Arjun on the path to recovery. There are about 25-30 people holding hands, meditating, discussing past traumas. “I exp­erienced both joy and hope from knowing that the sexual chaos of my life had a name and that it held in it the potential for recovery,” reveals Sagar, 26, who’s just comp­l­e­ted 90 days of ‘sobriety’. The weekly ses­sions kick off with the edict, “I Am A Sex Addict”, the first recognisable step on the ladder to recovery. Started over a year ago, SAA is a comfort space for sexaholics in Delhi in the abse­nce of adequate psychiatric care or support str­u­ctures. “Competent psychiatrists or sexologists can help addicts to an ext­­ent, but support groups provide the bac­kbone of care. A commonality of exp­­eriences binds people,” says sexolog­ist Prakash Kothari, who set up Asia’s first departm­ent of sexology at KEM Hospital, Mumbai. With more deaddiction centres for other maladies and an increase in consciousness, sexual healing too got a shot in the arm. Delhi, Ban­g­a­lore and Ahmedabad now have centres.         “The mind of the sex addict is quite differently wired... the aim isn’t abstinence but stopping obsession.”     Of course the first step to getting cured is admitting that you have a problem. Anil, a cha­rismatic, middle-aged banker, reveals that his super-successful deme­a­n­our is mostly a fac­ade—“people would be shell-shocked” if they knew his history. He remembers the bad guy in his 20s compulsively jerking off in office, the picking up of bar dancers (over 100 of them) and the hooking up with random girls on matrimonial sites. “It was after four years of attending the 12-step prog­ramme that it finally hit me...the problem lay in my indiscriminate fantasising.” He agrees that the addict must first break the denial mode, realise the problem is in the “mind, body and soul”. Vipul, a 29-year-old businessman from Baroda, calls it a combination of “physical allergy, mental obsession and spiritual malady”. Having undergone a year’s deaddiction progra­mme in Ahm­e­dabad, he feels the malaise could well be the next epidemic unless India wakes up to the ‘real issue’. “Your life becomes unmanageable because of an all-pervas­ive sexual mania. Most rap­ists are add­icts and who wants a proliferation of more obsessive behaviour?” Indeed, sexual obsession can be both complex and layered. The term, coi­­ned by Patrick Carnes in 1983 in his book Out of the Shadows: Understanding Sexual Add­iction, has of late become vivid in the popular imagination with sev­eral books and films on the subject, not to mention the celebrities unravelling in full public gaze. Michael Fassbender in Steve McQ­ueen’s Shame, and other films like Nym­phomaniac and Thanks for Shar­ing have taken a somewhat taboo subject till now head on. Recent books like Don’t Call it Love: Recovery from Sexual Addiction and Wired for Intimacy: How Pornography Hijacks the Male Brain too have put the spotlight on the issue. An estimated two million internet porn addicts are in and out of recovery today in the West. According to Dr A. Chakravarthy, consultant in sexual medicine in Kerala, “Dia­gnosing sexual addiction is primarily through investigating sexual history. Patients spend excessive time seeking ways to gratify sexual urges and feel distressed if they can’t. There are feelings of guilt, but that doesn’t stop them from indulging in similar behaviour again. Indeed, it becomes their coping mechanism to deal with stress and loneliness.” Suresh, a 46-year-old recovering grap­hic designer, remembers his former self as a “mentally sick person” scouring thr­o­ugh “50 kilos” of pornography in six mon­ths and allowing real-world rel­­­a­t­ionships to suffer. “I was an addict from the age of 11 right up to 40. The mind of an addict is  differently wired and one has to work hard on one’s sobriety. The aim isn’t abs­tinence but stopping obsession.” What Suresh laments is the fact that psychiatrists, instead of getting addicts into support groups, are only concerned about their own business. “Even now, when an addict walks into the office of a psychiatrist, he feels the stigma staring right at him.” Still, there is light at the end of the tunnel. “It’s like a spiritual cleansing when you finally come out on the other side,” says Suresh. Notice served on Nithyananda gurukul

The office of Deputy Commissioner, Ramanagaram district, was buzzing with activity on Tuesday. As many as 89 students of the gurukul in Nithyananda ashram, accompanied by their parents, attended counselling at the office.

The counselling was held after the DC’s office, Child Protection Cell, District Child Welfare Committee and Department of Women and Child Welfare, Ramanagaram district, issued a notice to the gurukul. It is said that the gurukul, a residential school, does not have the requisite permission from either the Education or Women and Child Welfare departments. The school is also not affiliated to any board, either State or central. It has also been said that the school was violating all norms and had failed to apply for registration. Kannada was not being taught there.

After issuing the notice, the DC’s office had directed the school authorities to ensure that all students and their parents attend the counselling. During counselling, it emerged that of the 108 students, 19 had been transferred to other schools in the neighbouring States. Of the 89 remaining students, 88 and their parents attended. A report of the counselling will be sent to the head office in Bangalore.

During the counselling session, there was an altercation between Nithyananda supporters and the media personnel.

Nithyananda is banned to enter Madurai adeenam mutt

Interim order passed by the Madurai district court says that Nithyananda is banned from entering the Madurai Adeenam Mutt.

 Madurai Adeenam Arunagirinathar has filed a petition in the Discrit court-I emphasizing the ban on entering the Madurai adeena mutt by Nithyananda. On hearing this petition, Judge Guruvaiya passed an interim order saying that Nithyananda and his subordinates are banned from entering the Madurai adeena mutt and not to involve in any tasks related with the mutt.

 The judge also ordered, Nithyananda and his subordinates that they are not entitled to sell any property which is in charge of the adeenam mutt

Nithyananda restrained from entering Madurai Adheenam

Principal Sub-Judge K. Guruviah, on Tuesday, passed interim orders restraining Nithyananda from entering the mutt of Madurai Adheenam and interfering in the functioning of the mutt.

The Sub-Judge passed the order on hearing the petition filed by Adheenam Arunagirinatha Desikar to restrain Nithyananda and his followers from entering the 1500-year-old Saivaite mutt and to direct the sub-registrar of Madurai South to cancel the registration of the trust he formed in collaboration with Nithyananda.

In yet another interim order, the Sub-Judge also instructed the Adheenam not to sell or transfer the properties of the mutt until final orders are pronounced in a case filed by the Department of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR and CE) seeking the removal of the incumbent Madurai Adheenam.

The HR and CE’s case has been posted for further hearing on March 22.

தமிழக இந்து அறிநிலையத்துறை ஆணையர் சார்பில் மதுரை மாவட்ட முதன்மை சார்பு நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஒரு மனு தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டு உள்ளது. அதில், இந்து அறநிலையத்துறைக்கு தகவல் தெரிவிக்காமல் ஆதீனம் தரப்பில் மதுரை ஆதீனம் அறக்கட்டளை தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆதீன மடத்தின் சொத்துக்களை அபகரிக்கும் நோக்கத்தில் தான் இந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

எனவே மதுரை ஆதீனம் அருணகிரிநாதரை அந்த பொறுப்பில் இருந்து நீக்கிவிட்டு, அடுத்த ஆதீனம் நியமிக்கப்படும் வரை மடத்தின் பொறுப்புகளை இந்து அறநிலையத்துறையிடம் ஒப்படைக்க உத்தரவிட வேண்டும் என்று கூறப்பட்டு இருந்தது.

 

இந்த முக்கிய மனு நிலுவையில் இருக்கும் வரை, மதுரை ஆதீனம் அறக்கட்டளை செயல்பட தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும் என்றும், இந்த அறக்கட்டளை மூலமோ அல்லது தனிப்பட்ட வகையிலோ ஆதீனத்துக்கு சொந்தமான சொத்துக்களை மதுரை ஆதீனமோ அல்லது அவரால் நியமிக்கப்பட்ட நபர்களோ விற்பனை செய்ய தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று இடைக்கால மனு தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது.

 

இதற்கிடையே மதுரை ஆதீனம் அருணகிரிநாதர், அதே கோர்ட்டில் இடைக்கால மனு ஒன்று தாக்கல் செய்தார். அதில், மதுரை ஆதீனத்தின் இளைய ஆதீனமாக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட நித்தியானந்தா அந்த பொறுப்பில் இருந்து நீக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். அவருடன் இணைந்து உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மதுரை ஆதீனம் அறக்கட்டளை கலைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

அதன் பதிவினை ரத்து செய்ய சார் பதிவாளருக்கு உத்தரவிட வேண்டும். மதுரை ஆதீன மடத்தில் நித்தியானந்தாவோ அவரது தரப்பினரோ நுழைய நிரந்தரமாக தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும். அத்துடன் மடத்தின் பணிகளில் அவர்கள் குறுக்கீடு செய்யாமல் இருக்கவும் உத்தரவிட வேண்டும் என்று கூறப்பட்டு இருந்தது.

 

இந்த மனுக்கள் நீதிபதி குருவையா முன்பாக விசாரணைக்கு வந்தன. விசாரணை முடிவில் 2 இடைக்காலத் தடை உத்தரவுகளை நேற்று நீதிபதி பிறப்பித்தார். அதன்படி இந்த வழக்கு முடிவுக்கு வரும்வரை மதுரை ஆதீனத்தின் பொறுப்பில் உள்ள சொத்துக்களை அவரோ, அவரால் நியமிக்கப்பட்டவர்களோ வேறு யாருக்கும் விற்பனை செய்வது, குத்தகைக்கு வழங்குவது உள்பட எந்தவித வில்லங்கமும் செய்யக்கூடாது.

 

அதேபோல நித்தியானந்தாவும், அவரது தரப்பினரும் மதுரை ஆதீனத்திற்குள் நுழைவதற்கும், ஆதீன பணிகளில் ஈடுபடுவதற்கும் இடைக்காலத்தடை விதித்தும் நீதிபதி உத்தரவிட்டார். இந்து அறநிலையத்துறை மற்றும் ஆதீனம் தரப்பில் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்ட பிரதான மனுக்கள் மீதான விசாரணை அடுத்த மாதம் (மார்ச்) 22-ந் தேதிக்கு தள்ளிவைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

நம்ம நித்தி சுவாமிகள் மீண்டும் ஒரு ரவுண்ட் வர தயாராகிவிட்டார். அதற்கு புத்துணர்ச்சி ஏற்றிக்கொள்ள மகா கும்பமேளாவின் மிக முக்கியமான ராஜ குளியலில் கலந்து கொள்ள மவுணி அமாவாசை தினத்தன்று அலகாபாத் திரிவேணி சங்கமத்தில் ஆஜரானார், நித்தியானந்தா. திரிவேணி சங்கமத்தின் கரையில் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த சுமார் 75 கூடாரங்களில், சினிமா செட் போல பளபளத்தது நித்தியின் சுமார் 100 பக்தர்களை பெங்களூருவில் இருந்து அழைத்து வந்து இறக்கி அசத்தினார் நித்தி. நட்சத்திர ஹோட்டலுக்குக் குறைவில்லாத வசதிகளுடன் இருந்த நித்தியின் கூடாரத்தில், கடுமையான கட்டுக் காவல். அனுமதி இன்றி உள்ளே யாரும் நுழைய முடியாது.

ராஜக் குளியல் செய்வதற்காக நித்தி, ஆளுயர ரோஜா மாலையுடன் வித்தியாசமான கெட்டப்பில் ஊர்​வலமாக வந்தார். ஊர்வலத்துக்காக செட்டப் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்த ரதத்தில் நித்திக்காக வெள்ளி சிம்மாசனம் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.

நித்தி வட்டாரங்களில் விசாரித்தபோது, தனியார் பாதுகாப்பு ஏஜென்சி ஒன்றுக்கு பணம் கொடுத்து பெறப்பட்ட பாதுகாப்பு என்றார்கள். இதற்கு அந்த மாநில அரசிடம் முன்கூட்டியே அனுமதி பெற்றிருக்கிறார்கள். பாதுகாப்பு ஏஜென்சியின் யூனிபார்மில் இல்லாமல், கமாண்டோ பாணியில் உடையணிந்து பாதுகாப்பு கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்பது, நித்தி விடுத்த கோரிக்கையாம்! அட, இப்படியொரு செட்டப்பில் மதுரை வந்து, அருணகிரியாரை மிரள வைக்கலாமே!

Kumbh pilgrims oppose visit of Nithyananda

Allahabad, Feb 4: Normally stoic Indians are in a mood to challenge established views and those harming values. And Swami Nithyananda is one of those tasting the wrath of people. the controversial godman's visit to Kumbh Mela is being opposed by the pilgrims. 

Nithyananda is expected to reach Kumbh mela township today (Feb 4) and stay at the holy place for ten days. His followers have erected a huge pandal. What attracted the attention of the people to the pandal and subsequent campaign against the swamy was the 8-ft statue of his installed at the pandal. His followers were doing daily puja to the huge statue of his and holding meditation sessions. But these holy rituals do not seem to have any difference to the public mood. 

A section of pilgrims have met distirct administration and sought to put restrictions of Nithyananda. They are enraged by the fact that a person like Nithyananda coyuld be coming to the holy place considering charges against him. The pilgrims have also expressed their anger about the activities in the Nithyananda pandal.

லக்னோ: உ.பியில் நடைபெறும் கும்பமேளா நிகழ்ச்சியில் நித்தியானந்தா கலந்து கொள்வதற்கு அங்கு கடும் எதிர்ப்புக் கிளம்பியுள்ளதாம்.

அலகாபாத் நகரில் கும்பமேளா நடந்து வருகிறது.லட்சக்கணக்கானோர் குழுமியுள்ளனர். அதேபோல பாலியல் விவகார சர்ச்சையில் சிக்கிய நித்தியானந்தாவின் பக்தர்களும் அங்கு ஒரு கேம்ப் போட்டு தினசரி பூஜை செய்து வருகின்றனர். இன்று முதல் 10 நாட்களுக்கு நித்தியானந்தாவும் கேம்ப் போட்டு தினசரி பஜனை பண்ணப் போகிறாராம்.

இதற்கு அங்கு எதிர்ப்பு கிளம்பியுள்ளது. இதுகுறித்து உ.பி. மாநில அரசு, கலெக்டர், உள்ளிட்டோருக்கு உ.பி. எம்.பிக்கள் சிலர் மனு அனுப்பியுள்ளனர். அதில், நிதித்யானந்தாவை கும்பமேளாவில் பங்கேற்க அனுமதித்தால், ஆன்மிக நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்கு பிரச்னை ஏற்படலாம். விவாதத்துக்கு உள்ளானவர்களை, கும்பமேளாவில் கலந்து கொள்ள அனுமதிக்கக் கூடாது.

நித்தியானந்தாவை, அரசு தரப்பில் தடுக்காவிட்டால், கும்ப மேளா ஏற்பாட்டாளர்கள் கமிட்டியே நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கும். நித்தியானந்தா கும்பமேளாவில் கலந்து கொள்ள தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று கோரியுள்ளனர்.

ஏற்கனவே இப்படிப்பட்ட கும்பமேளாவின்போதுதான் தன்னை மிக மோசமான முறையில் சீரழித்தார் நித்தியானந்தா என்று அவரது முன்னாள் சிஷையை ஆர்த்தி ராவ் கூறியிருந்தார் என்பது நினைவிருக்கலாம். மேலும், அப்போதுதான் அவரது பாலியல் விவகாரம் குறித்து பிரச்சினை கிளம்பியது என்பதும் நினைவிருக்கலாம்.

மதுரை ஆதீனம் தொடர்ந்த வழக்கை ரத்து செய்யக்கோரி நித்யானந்தா மனு தாக்கல் செய்துள்ளார். நித்யானந்தாவுடன் இணைந்து ஏற்படுத்திய மதுரை ஆதீன அறக்கட்டளையை மதுரை ஆதீனம் கலைத்தார். அறக்கட்டளை அறக்கட்டளை கலைக்கப்பட்டது செல்லாது எனக்கூறி மதுரை கோர்ட்டில் நித்யானந்தா மனு தாக்கல் செய்துள்ளார். இதன் மீதான விசாரணை நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. இந்நிலையில் நித்யானந்தா மதுரை ஷெசன்ஸ் சப் கோர்ட்டில் புதிதாக மனு ஒன்றை தாக்கல் செய்துள்ளார். அதில், அறக்கட்டளையை அரசின் முன் அனுமதி பெற்றுத்தான் கலைக்க வேண்டும். ஆதீனம் முன் அனுமதியின்றி கலைத்துள்ளார். எனவே அறக்கட்டளை கலைக்கப்பட்டது செல்லாது என கூறியுள்ளார். இதனை விசாரித்த நீதிபதி நித்யானந்தா மனு தொடர்பாக வரும் 10ம் தேதிக்குள் பதிலளிக்கும்படி மதுரை ஆதீனத்துக்கு உத்தரவிட்டார்.

. கெடுபிடி காரணமாக நித்தியானந்தா தனது பிறந்த நாள் விழா வை, திருவண்ணாமலை ஆசிரமத்திலேயே எளிமையாகக் கொண்டாடி முடித்ததில், சீடர் களுக்குப் பலத்த ஏமாற்றம்! உலகம் முழுவதும் ஆசிரமங்களை அமைத்தும் பிரபலம் ஆக முடியாத நித்யானந்தா, ஒரே ஒரு வீடியோவால் தலைமறைவு, தப்பி ஓட்டம், அதிரடிக் கைது என சர்ச்சைகளின் நாயகன் ஆனார். அடுத்து, மதுரை ஆதீனத்தோடு கைகோத்து தன்னை அடுத்த ஆதீனமாக அறிவிக்க வைத்தார். இதனால், மதுரை ஆதீனம் அருணகிரிநாதருக்கு அடுக்கடுக்காகப் பல பிரச் னைகள் ஏற்பட, நித்தியைக் கை கழுவியதோடு அவரது சீடர்களையும் ஆசிரமத்தில் இருந்து வெளியேற்றினார். அதைத் தொடர்ந்து தன் பூர்வீக இடமான திருவண்ணாமலை ஆசிரமத்தி​லேயே தங்கினார் நித்தி. அந்த ஆசிரமத்தையும் இந்து அறநிலையத் துறையினர் தங்கள் கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்குக் கொண்டுவர நோட்டீஸ் கொடுத்தனர். ஆடிப்போன நித்தி, மூத்த வழக் கறிஞர்கள் சிலருடன் ஆலோசனை நடத்தி, கோர்ட்டுக்குச் சென்றார். கடந்த ஒரு மாதத்துக்கும் மேலாக அவர் எங்கே இருக்கிறார் என்றே யாருக்கும் தெரியாமல் இருந்தது. இந்த நிலையில், 

கடந்த 6-ம் தேதி அவருடைய 36-வது அவதாரப் பெருநாள் விழாவை (அதாங்க, பிறந்த நாள் விழா!) பிரமாண்டமாகக் கொண்டாடத் திட்டம் போட்டிருந்தார். அதற்காக அண்ணாமலையார் கோயில் ராஜகோபுரம் எதிரே மேடை அமைக்கப்​பட்டு இருந்தது. ஒயிலாட்டம், புலியாட்டம், தாரை தப்பட்டை, கேரள செண்டை மேளம் முழங்க மாட வீதிகளில் உற்சவ மூர்த்திகளுடன் வீதி உலா, ஆசிரம வளாகத்தில் சத்சங்க விழா, பின்னர் பக்தர்​களுக்கு ஆசி வழங்குதல் என ஏற்பாடுகள் செய்யப்பட்டு இருந்தன. பிறந்த நாளான 6-ம் தேதி அதிகாலையில் நித்தியின் வருகைக்காக அண்ணாமலையார் கோயிலில் அவரது சீடர்கள் காத்திருந்தனர். நேரம் ஆனதே தவிர, அவர் வரவில்லை. 

பிறந்த நாள் தொடர்பான நிகழ்ச்சிகள் அனைத்தும் ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டு, ஆசிரமத்தை விட்டு வெளியே வராமல் சிறை வைக்கப்பட்டவர்போல் அங்கேயே இருந்தார். நித்தியின் பக்தர்கள் சிலரிடம் பேசியபோது, ''சுவாமியின் பிறந்த நாள் விழாவை எப்போதும் கோலாகலமாகக் கொண்டாடுவது வழக்கம். பிறந்த நாள் அன்று அதிகாலையிலேயே அண் ணாமலையார் கோயிலுக்கு சீடர்களுடன் வந்து அபிஷேகம் செய்வார். அதன்பின், அருண கிரிநாதர் சன்னதிக்குச் சென்று அங்கேயும் பூஜைகள் செய்வார். இந்த முறை அபிஷேகத்துக்கு சுவாமியுடன் ஐந்து பேரைதான் அனுமதிக்க முடியும் என்று கோயில் சார்பில் சொல்லப்பட்டது. இதனால் பிறந்த நாள் அதுவுமாக காலையிலேயே ஏன் வீண் பிரச்னை என்று கோயிலுக்கே வராமல் இருந்து விட்டார். அதற்குப் பதில், பெங்களூரு கருமாரியம்மன் ஆசிரமத்தின் மதுக்கர் சுவாமிகளுடன் அவரது முக்கியச் சீடர்கள் கோயிலுக்கு வந்து பூஜைகள் செய்துவிட்டுச் சென்றனர். மற்ற நிகழ்ச்சிகளையாவது சிறப்பாக நடத்த இருந்தோம். ஆனால், நகரில் எங்களது விழாவுக்கும் ஊர்வலத்துக்கும் அனுமதி தர போலீஸார் மறுத்து விட்டனர். 

இதனால், அந்த நிகழ்ச்சிகளையும் ரத்துசெய்துவிட்டு மாலையில் ஆசிரமத்தில் கொண்டாட இருந்தோம். அதற்காக ஆசிரமத்தில் பெரிய மேடை அமைத்து அலங்காரங்கள் செய்து இருந்தோம். சட்டம் ஒழுங்கு பிரச்னை ஏற்பட்டுவிடும் என்று போலீஸார் அதற்கும் அனுமதி தர மறுத்து விட்டனர். நித்தியானந்தரின் மெழுகு சிலை பொம்மைகளும் ஓரங்கட்டப்பட்டன. கடைசியில், சத்சங்க நிகழ்ச்சியை மட்டும் ஒரு பெரிய ஹாலில் நடத்தினார். இந்த நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு டெல்லியில் இருந்து ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ நாராயண் சாய் சுவாமிகள் வந்து, நித்தியானந்​தரை வாழ்த்திச் சென்றார். பின்னர் பக்தர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் அங்கு இருந்தபடியே சுவாமி ஆசி வழங்கினார். இந்த நிகழ்ச்சிகள் பெரிய திரைகளில் ஒளிபரப்பு செய்யப்​பட்டது. பல தடைகளை மீறி, சுவாமி விழாவை நடத்திக் காட்டினார்'' என்றனர். இந்த விழாவுக்காக சேலம் மற்றும் நாமக்கல் மாவட்டங்களில் இருந்து ஆட் கள் அழைத்து வரப்பட்டு இருந்தனர். அவர்களுக்காக நகரில் லாட்ஜ், திருமண மண்டபங்கள் புக் செய்யப்பட்டன. சளைக் காமல் பேட்டி கொடுக்கும் நித்தி, இந்த முறை மீடியாவையைச் சந்திப்பதையே தவிர்த்தார். நித்தி விழாவுக்கு அனுமதி மறுக்கப்பட்டது குறித்து எஸ்.பி. முத்தரசியிடம் கேட்டதற்கு, ''கோயிலைச் சுற்றி யாரும் ஊர்வலம் வரக் கூடாது என் பதால் அனுமதி மறுக்கப்பட்டதே தவிர, அவர்களின் விழாவுக்கு நாங்கள் எந்தத் தடையும் விதிக்கவில்லை'' என்றார்

திருவண்ணாமலை: திருவண்ணாமலையில் நித்யானந்தா பிறந்த நாள் விழா நடத்த போலீசார் அனுமதி அளிக்க மறுத்துவிட்டனர். 

மேலும் அறநிலைய துறை எதிர்ப்பால் கோயிலுக்கு வருவதை தவிர்த்துவிட்டு தனது ஆசிரமத்திலேயே பிரசங்கம் நடத்தினார். பெங்களூர் பிடதியில் தலைமை ஆசிரமத்தை வைத்து நடத்தி வருபவர் நித்யானந்தா.  இவர் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் ஆசிரமங்கள் வைத்துள்ளார். பல்வேறு சர்ச்சைகளில் சிக்கிய நித்யானந்தா போலீசாரால் கைது செய்யப்பட்டு தற்போது ஜாமீனில் வெளியே வந்துள்ளார்.

 ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் நித்யானந்தா தனது பிறந்தநாளை திருவண்ணாமலையில் உள்ள ஆசிரமத்தில் கொண்டாடுவது வழக்கம். அதன்படி இன்று காலை தி.மலை அண்ணாமலையாரை தரிசித்துவிட்டு தனது சீடர்களுடன் மாட வீதியில் ஊர்வலமாக செல்வது, அங்கேயே மேடை அமைத்து பிரசங்கம் செய்யவும் திட்டமிட்டிருந்தார். இதற்காக போலீசில் அவரது சீடர்கள் அனுமதி கேட்டு விண்ணப்பம் செய்திருந்தனர். ஆனால், மாட வீதியில் ஊர்வலம் நடத்தவும், மேடை அமைத்து பிரசங்கம் செய்வதற்கும் போலீசார் அனுமதி தர மறுத்துவிட்டனர்.

 இதற்கிடையில் நேற்று நள்ளிரவு மாட வீதியில் பந்தல் அமைக்கும் பணி நடந்தது. இதையறிந்த போலீசார் அங்கு சென்று அப்பணியை தடுத்து நிறுத்தினர். அங்கு அமைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த ஒலி பெருக்கிகளும் உடனடியாக அப்புறப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. நித்யானந்தா இன்று அதிகாலை அண்ணாமலையார் கோயிலுக்கு வரும் திட்டத்தையும் கைவிட்டார். தனது அறையிலேயே பிரசங்கம் நடத்தினர். இதில் அவரது சீடர்கள் சிலர் மட்டுமே கலந்து கொண்டனர்.திருவண்ணாமலை: திருவண்ணாமலையில் நித்யானந்தா பிறந்த நாள் விழா நடத்த போலீசார் அனுமதி அளிக்க மறுத்துவிட்டனர்.

நித்தியானந்தா ‘திரு அவதார திருநாளில்’ திருவண்ணாமலை மாட வீதியில் திருதிரு!

இன்று (06.01.2012) பிறந்த நாள் காணும் நித்தியானந்தா எப்போதும்போல் திருவண்ணாமலையில் பந்தா காட்ட நினைத்தார். இன்று காலை அண்ணாமலையால் கோவிலுக்குள் பக்தர்களுடன் வந்து வணங்கிவிட்டு, பின்னர் தன்னுடைய உருவ சிலையை கோயில் மாட வீதியில் வலம் வரவழைப்பதற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தார்.

இதற்கான ஏற்பாடுகள் நடந்து வந்த நிலையில், கோயில் நிர்வாகம் கோவிலுக்குள் ஐந்து பேரை மட்டுமே அனுமதிப்போம். கோயிலுக்குள் கூட்டம் போடுவதோ, பேசுவதோ இருந்தால் வழக்குப் பதிவு செய்யப்படும் என எச்சரிக்கை விடுத்தது. இதனால் கோவிலுக்குள் வருவதை தவிர்த்துவிட்டார் நித்தியானந்தா.

தொடர்ந்து மாட வீதியில் வலம் வருவதற்கு போலீசாரிடம் அனுமதி வாங்க வேண்டும். ஆனால் நித்தியானந்தா அனுமதி வாங்காததால், கோயிலுக்கு எதிரே அவரது சார்பில் போடப்பட்டிருந்த பந்தலை போலீசார் பிரித்து போட்டனர். இதனால் அதிர்ச்சியான நித்தியானந்தா அனைத்து நிகழ்ச்சிகளையும் தனது ஆசிரமத்துக்கு மாற்றிக்கொண்டார்.

மதுரை ஆதீன மடத்தின் இளைய ஆதீனமாக நித்யானந்தாவை அருணகிரி நாதர் நியமித்தார். இதற்கு பல்வேறு அமைப்புகள் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்து வந்ததால் இளைய ஆதீனம் பதவியி லிருந்து நித்யானந்தாவை நீக்கி அருணகிரி நாதர் உத்தரவிட்டார். 

இந்நிலையில் மதுரை ஆதீனம் மடத்திற்குள் நித்யானந்தா அவரது சீடர்களை நுழைய தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று சப்-கோர்ட்டில் அருணகிரி நாதர் மனுத்தாக்கல் செய்தார். இந்த மனுவில் நித்யானந்தா நியமனத்தை ரத்து செய்து விட்டேன். அவர் இளைய ஆதீனமாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டபோதும் ஆதீனம் சொத்துக்களை நிர்வகிக்க நானும், அவரும் சேர்ந்து ஏற்படுத்திய அறக்கட்டளை கலைக்கப்பட்டு விட்டது. எனவே அறக்கட்டளை கலைக்கப்பட்டதை பதிவு செய்ய சார்பதிவாளருக்கு உத்தர விட வேண்டும். 

மேலும் மடத்துக்குள் நித்யானந்தாவும் அவரது ஆட்களும் நுழைய தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும் என கூறப்பட்டிருந்தது. இந்த மனுவுக்கு நித்யானந்தா தரப்பில் பதில் தெரிவிக்க அவகாசம் கோரப்பட்டு வந்த நிலையில் அவரது தரப்பில் நேற்று மனுத்தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது. அதில் என்னை இளைய ஆதீனமாக நியமித்தது மரபுப்படி சரியானது தான். ஆதீன மடத்துக்கு நானும், எனது ஆதரவாளர்களும் நுழைய மாட்டோம். எந்த தொந்தரவும் எங்களால் ஏற்படாது. எனவே மதுரை ஆதீனத்தின் இடைக்கால மனுவை தள்ளுபடி செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

இந்த மனுவுக்கு பதில் மனுத்தாக்கல் செய்யும்படி ஆதீனம் தரப்பிற்கு நீதிபதி குருவையா உத்தரவிட்டு வழக்கை வருகிற 8-ந்தேதிக்கு ஒத்தி வைத்தார்.

Nithyananda hiding in his ashram, claim Kannada activists

The Ramanagaram district police on Wednesday arrested 20 members of the Karnataka Nava Nirmana Sene, who were staging a protest near the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam in Bidadi demanding that the self-styled godman be sent out of the State.

Tension prevailed for a while as the protesters tried to force their way into the ashram.

They claimed Nithyananda, who was accused in a sex scandal, returned to the ashram from Madurai and was staying “secretly” at the ashram.

He is facing criminal charges, including rape, and is out on bail. The State government, instead of initiating action against him, is providing security to the ashram, the protesters claimed.

The police arrested sene leader Bhima Shankar Patil and 19 others and released them later.

India mourns for Delhi gang rape victim

India mourns for the brave victim of Delhi gang rape. Deepest condolences to her family. may her soul rest in peace. 

 The prime minister has promised that her death will not be in vain. We hope stricter rape laws will be brought so that rape trials will be conducted in special courts in daily basis, and all the legal loopholes exploited by rapists will be fixed to give them the harshest punishments.

  Rape and all forms of violence against women is a shame to this country where women are worshipped as goddesses. The youth of our country have spoken out in a single voice against such violence. We hope this will give courage to all victims to speak out against their abuse and seek swift justice against their abusers

TRUE FACTS OF THRUVNANNAMALAI TEMPLE/ASHRAM, AN EYE OPENER FOR DEVOTEES AND GENERAL PUBLIC

Thrunannamalai Temple and Ashram of NITHYA is under Govt. focus and news. Everyone is aware of the fiasco that is being enacted there. Its time people know the true facts and details of the Temple/Ashram of Nithya. Its more important that all the present brainwashed devotees know the real facts and intentions of Nithya. Perhaps this will help them to use their rational mind and come out of the spell of Nithya.

I am assuming the name as Tamilselvan, a long time devotee of Nithya and a local resident. I am coming out of his spell.
Everyone and especially all old devotees are aware that the Temple and Ashram of Nithya in Thrunannamalai was inaguarated on April 19, 2008. Pranapratishta, yagam, Abishekam and pancha Aarathi was performed by none other than Nithya himself. Mulikas, a total of 1008 were offered in the yagam performed by Nithya himself. Navapashanam and yantras was offered and placed under the dieties of SHIVA and PARVATI, lingas and the navagrahas as a sacred ritual of PRANAPRATISHTA. This was done all by Nithya himself. Tamil director cum actor Visu, local MLA's and chairman of Panchayat were the dignitaries invited. I was present and a witness and volunteer to all the proceedings of the function. More than 5000 people attended this function.


I was part of the team under Sharanagatha Maharaj, which also included Chidambarananda, Alagan and Dorai. In 15 days we were ordered by Nithya to place orders, get the Lingas sculpted and delivered in Thirunannamalai, 1008 in all, (108 bigger size lingas and balance smaller lingas) from Mahabalipuram. We did not sleep for those 15 days. Sharanagataha and Chdambarananda were constantly scolded and abused by Nithya for delays in delivery schedule. Infact Nithya and his personal team visited Thrunannamalai not less than 7 times to supervise and instuct. Nithya and his team stayed at organiser Jaya Kumars’s and donor Sounderrajan’s home. Constant phone calls were received to our agony from Pranananda and Gopika who would pass on the phone to Nithya who would shower abuses on our team. It was a nightmare best forgotten. We consoled ourselves thinking that it was a service to Master and for the larger cause of the Temple. Each small Linga was purchased for Rs2000.00 and the cost of each bigger Linga was Rs6000.00. The orders for bigger Idols of SHIVA (Anandeshwara) and PARVATI (Anandeshwari) were placed earlier and procured for Rs55,000.00. Idol of Nandi was procured for Rs12,000.00. Similarly, the cost of Murgan Idol with Valli Daivanai cost Rs30,000.00. Ganapati Idol for Rs8,000.00 and Navagraha Idols were bought outright at nominal cost. More than 100 artisans were working round the clock and Nithya did not release payment on time. We had a spat with the main Sthapathi. On Sharanagatha’s and Chidambarananda’s personal assurance the Idols were despatched. A total of 12 trucks were loaded with the above idols and despatched to Tirunannamalai.

For sake of authenticity, I will also inform that Nithya wanted to install the 21.00 feet high Navapashana Linga, but sadly the local corporation and HR & CE deptt., objected to the same. In the mean while the construction in-charge volunteer Krishnamurthy and Jaya kumar dug up a huge pit 8.00ft deep of size 40.00x40.00 feet, for foundation to the Linga. This was kept open for a long time and closed up much later when it was realised that Corporation would never permit the same

 Now coming to the marketing part, this was most shocking. We all knew that Nithya was an excellent spiritual and religious marketing man, proclaiming to be an Avatar of Shiva, with his work shops and abilities to mesmerize and convince devotees. But this was too much for us to digest.

A separate Linga donation marketing and focus team was created. Flex, banners, posters and pamphlets were printed and distributed to various centers soliciting devotees to sponsor the lingas by paying Rs50,000.00 for small lingas and Rs1,00,000.00 for bigger lingas. It was assured that the name of the donor will be inscribed on the linga along with his gothra and puja and aarthi will be performed and his sanyas parampara would continue this for ages to come. And you would get rid of all kind of doshas. As long as Son and Moon were existing. Separate counters were placed at ASP and NSP programs and Linga donations were solicited. Ma Yogeshwari was specially made in-charge for the collections. 

The PRO Sevananda a.k.a Palaniappan was also given the task of propagating, inspiring and collecting bookings for Lingas.
The response from the devotee base was overwhelming. The Malaysian organiser and ashramites were the first to book about 80 lingas. Orders from Los Angles were to the tune of 200. There were a few orders from Hyderabad, Bangalore and other centers. All centers from Tamil Nadu contributed. All the lingas were booked in no time. There was no looking back for Nithya. Arrogance started showing up in Nithya. 

Nithya’s Deepam speech was full of hollow emotion. This is not just to criticize him. Its perhaps due to my better understanding of the evil genius in him. Nithya started off by offering gratitude and thanking all the existing brainwashed ashramites, organisers and devotees starting with Pranananda, Atamprabhananda, Bhaktika, Rishi, chandran and many other brainwashed slaves. In your ASP program you clearly explained that everyone seeks attention. You have pandered to this emotion in them. They must have been in tearful joy. Well done Nithya. Your voice was shrill and seemed desperate.

 What happened to you. Humility was never your trait. You were charging Rs25,00,000.00 per day per visit to any outstation city before the scandal brokeout. What a reversal in fortune. We could see the pain you felt at the prospect of losing just 3.00 acres of land with sheds to the Govt. Have you ever thought what must be going through the hearts of Donors who donated Temples and Lands in Rajapalaiam, Trichunapally, Teni, Salem, Hyderabad and Los Angles. You masqueraded as an Avatar gave false promises and defrauded them into donating their property.

 You have misused the God gift that you have, of high IQ, great knowledge base, excellent elocution and mesmeric talk. You have perpetuated a cult, brainwashed your devotees and made them your slaves and are still continuing to do so. Your days seem numbered. The wheels of destiny grinds slowly but truly.
I will end this note, but not before quoting what the Advocate General of Tamil Nadu said in his affidavit filed in the Honorable High Court of Madras. “ Nithyananda is a man of low character. Any prudent person will not accept Nithyananda as the head of a religious institution, even to a secular institution. Where ever Nithyananda goes, he brings social discord and unrest”.
The choice is yours.

நித்யானந்தா மீதான புகார் தொடர்பான அனைத்து ஆவணங்களை யும் நில அபகரிப்பு தடுப்பு பிரிவு போலீசார் சேகரித்து வருகின்றனர். இதனிடையே சீரகாபாடியில் ஆசிரமம் துவக்கப்பட்ட போது நித்யானந்தா கலந்து கொண்டு பேசியது தொடர்பான சிடியை, அவரது சீடர் சென்னகிருஷ்ணன் நேற்று முன்தினம் நில அபகரிப்பு தடுப்பு பிரிவு போலீசாரிடம் ஒப்படைத்துள்ளார்.

இதனிடையே கடத்தூர் முக்கோணம்பாளையம் பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த 10க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மக்கள் நேற்று மாவட்ட எஸ்பி அலுவலகத்துக்கு வந்தனர். அவர்க ளிடம் டிஎஸ்பி முனியப் பன், விவசாயி குணசேகரன் 50 சென்ட் நிலத்தை தனமாக கொடுத்தாரா? அல்லது பணம் வாங்கிக் கொண்டு நிலத்தை விற்றாரா? என்பது குறித்து  தனித்தனியே விசாரித்தார். அவர்களின் வாக்கு மூலத்தை வீடியோவில் போலீசார் பதிவு செய்தனர்.

Nithyananda raises objections to Madurai Adheenam suit

In an unexpected move, Nithyananda has raised objections to the original suit filed by the Madurai Adheenam before the Principal Sub-Court, seeking its help to dissolve a trust he created in collaboration with Nithyananda.

On Saturday, when the case was posted before judge Guruvaiyah, Nithyananda’s counsel raised objections to Arunagirinathar’s case.

The Madurai Adheenam filed the suit after the sub-registrar of Madurai South refused to cancel the trust’s deed. In an interim prayer, the Adheenam also requested the court to restrain Nithyananda and his followers from entering the mutt.

On Thursday, the judge directed the State to file a counter affidavit and posted the case for Saturday for disposal. Nithyananda’s lawyers said they required time to file a counter affidavit to the original suit. Following this, the judge adjourned the case to Tuesday for further hearing.

Addressing reporters, Arunagirinathar’s lawyers said that they would decide on the next move after seeing the nature of objections raised by Nithyananda in his counter affidavit.

ஆதீன வழக்கில் நித்தியானந்தா பதிலளிக்க மதுரை கோர்ட் உத்தரவு

மதுரை: மதுரை ஆதீன மடத்திற்குள் நித்தியானந்தா நுழைய தடை விதிக்கக் கோரி அருணகிரிநாதர் தொடர்ந்துள்ள வழக்கில் பதிலளிக்குமாறு நித்தியானந்தாவுக்கு மதுரை நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது.
மதுரை ஆதீன மடத்திற்குள் நித்தியானந்தாவும், அவரது ஆட்களும் நுழைய தடை விதிக்கக்கோரி மதுரை ஆதீனம் அருணகிரிநாதர், மதுரை சார்பு நீதிமன்றத்தில் மனு தாக்கல் செய்துள்ளார்.
அதில், ஆதீன மடத்தின் 293வது இளைய ஆதீனமாக நித்யானந்தா நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். ஆதீன மடத்தை நிர்வகிக்க நானும், அவரும் சேர்ந்து ஒரு அறக்கட்டளை உருவாக்கினோம். அதனை மதுரை தெற்கு சார்பதிவாளர் அலுவலகத்தில் பதிவு செய்தோம். இந்நிலையில், இளைய ஆதீனம் பதவியிலிருந்து நித்தியானந்தா நீக்கப்பட்டார். அந்த அறக்கட்டளை கலைக்கப்பட்டது.
எனவே அறக்கட்டளை பதிவை செய்ததை ரத்து செய்யுமாறு மதுரை தெற்கு சார்பதிவாளரிடம் மனு கொடுத்தோம். அவர் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கவில்லை. எனவே, அறக்கட்டளை பதிவை ரத்து செய்ய உத்தரவிட வேண்டும்.
மேலும் இளைய ஆதீனம் பதவியிலிருந்து நித்தியானந்தா நீக்கப்பட்டதால், அவரும் அவரது ஆட்களும் ஆதீன மடத்திற்குள் நுழைய தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று கோரியிருந்தார் அருணகிரிநாதர்.
இந்த மனு ஏற்கனவே விசாரணைக்கு வந்தபோது, அரசு பதிலளிக்க நீதிபதி உத்தரவிட்டிருந்தார். இந்த நிலையில் வழக்கு நீதிபதி குருவையா முன் நேற்று மீண்டும் விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது. அப்போது அரசு வக்கீல் ஆஜராகி, பதில் மனுத்தாக்கல் செய்ய அவகாசம் கேட்டார்.
மேலும் இந்த வழக்கில் முதல் முறையாக நித்தியானந்தா சார்பில் ஒரு வக்கீல் ஆஜரானார். அவர், அருணகிரிநாதர் மனுவுக்கு பதிலளிக்க நித்தியானந்தாவுக்கு அவகாசம் தர வேண்டும் என கேட்டார். அதையேற்று, அரசும், நித்தியானந்தாவும் பதிலளிக்க உத்தரவிட்டு, அடுத்த விசாரணையை நவம்பர் 27க்கு நீதிபதி ஒத்திவைத்தார்

கால அவகாசம் கோரி நித்யானந்தா மனு

மதுரை: மதுரை ஆதீனம் தொடர்ந்த வழக்கில், பதில் மனு தாக்கல் செய்ய அவகாசம்கோரி நித்யானந்தா மனு தாக்கல் செய்துள்ளார். மதுரை ஆதீன மடத்திற்குள் நித்யானந்தா மற்றும் அவரது சீடர்கள் நுழைய தடை விதித்தும், மதுரைஆதீனமும், இளைய ஆதீனமாக நித்யானந்தா இருந்தபோது துவக்கிய அறக்கட்டளை கலைக்கப்பட்டது தொடர்பாக மதுரை ஆதீனம் சார்பில் கோர்ட்டில் வழக்கு தொடரப்பட்டது. இந்த வழக்குகளில் பதில் அளிக்க கோரி நித்யானந்தாவுக்கு நோட்டீஸ் அனுப்பப்பட்டது. இது தொடர்பான வழக்கு இன்று விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது. அப்போது நித்யானந்தா சார்பில் ஆஜரான வழக்கறிஞர், கால அவகாசம் கேட்டார். இதனையடுத்து நவம்பர் 27ம் தேதிக்கு வழக்கு ஒத்திவைத்து நீதிபதி உத்தரவிட்டார்.
