Who is the real 'Godman?'
The Supreme Court yet again brushed aside jailed spiritual leader Asaram Bapu's request to restrain the electronic media from vilifying him as a villain in the alleged sexual assault cases. Every year, the media has a field day whenever there's a fake Baba on the loose. With the rise in the self-proclaimed god-mans, the people don't really blame exaggerating the issue a tad too much.
In August 2013, Asaram was accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl at his ashram in Jodhpur on the pretext of exorcising her from evil spirits. Two days after the alleged assault the girl's parents, they filed a complaint with the police in Delhi and a medical examination confirmed that she had been assaulted.
There are incidents, across the country with these so called holy men performing miracles on the weak minded, like the recent one in Hyderabad where a man claimed to ward off evil on your family. All with the help of an earthen bowl with certain inscriptions, a few nails, an egg and a handful of grains. This is a new trend being adopted by many fake babas operating in the city. Despite frequent drives by police to check their activities, they continue to cheat the public by promising to solve their problems using some 'dubious tactics'.
People always look for something to believe in. And these godmen take advantage of it with their tricks. When a person seeks solace in babas, he transfers his entire mental burden upon them. He is deluded into believing that a supernatural power is taking care of his responsibilities and helping him. If any good happens in his life, he takes it as a blessing from the baba and becomes devoted to him for life.
In the latest trend, the fake babas are now selling an earthen bowl for anywhere between Rs. 1,100 and Rs. 21,000. They sell it claiming that disposing of the bowl at some place on a specific day would help in getting rid of the particular problem, it is said. A chunk of the clients are women who throng the so-called faith healing dens to get their issues resolved. But most of them end up getting cheated, it is said.
All right, money could always make its way back, but these Babas seem to have something else on mind when they lure these innocent followers. Some get them addicted to narcotics, while some others get them to do sexual favours for them without their knowledge. The news of Bangalore's 'Sex Swami' is certainly not new to any of us. Nithyananda who was arrested by the Bangalore Police way back in 2010 for rape, criminal conspiracy and cheating among others, still doesn't fail to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. And the cases of unusual happenings at the camps of various self-style godmen has become such blasé these days that no one really pays much attention anymore.
The law enforcement fails at major levels in the country, with these godmen carving a special for themselves in the minds of people with each passing day despite the many shocking incidents that continue to shock the common man. Where does the problem lie? Why do these men get a free run despite the heinousness of their crimes? Is moral conscience and ethical behaviour so much on the decline that people resort to such stooping levels to earn money? Or is it so difficult to get employed by decent means that cheating and deception seem far too easy?
What we really need at the moment is for people to come forward and report the incidents, take a stand and fight these fraudsters. Apparently afraid of getting exposed, most of the victims do not come forward to lodge complaints with the police. And as a result the phony babas enjoy a free run. This alone might not be the solution, because, for one, people need to learn put their faith and trust in something more legitimate and credible than some roadside phony.
Better laws, better enforcement, better regard to conscience and a tad bit of common sense is what the society needs to combat the existing moral rampage that is prevalent. While people involved in the act should never go unpunished, it is of the common notion that the society also owes quite a bit in terms of responsibility.

Nityananda sleaze CD genuine: CID
PTI Bangalore,
The video footage showing arrested self-styled godman Nityananda Swami in a compromising position with a Tamil actress is "genuine", a top CID official said on Thursday.
"The video footage is genuine. It is untampered and there is no indication of alteration in the video. As far as image comparison is concerned, that is still to be done," CID's Deputy IGP Charan Reddy told PTI.
Asked about efforts to trace the actress, Reddy said, "She is not an accused in this case. She will definitely come. When she comes, we will examine her."
The CD was sent to Central Forensic Science Laboratory Hyderabad for analysis where it was found to be authentic, he said.
The case was entrusted to CID for investigation after the scandal broke out in March when some TV channels aired the purported video footage.
Meanwhile, the Karnataka High Court reserved its order for Friday on a bail plea by Nityananda, arrested on criminal charges, including rape, from Solan in Himachal Pradesh on April 21.
Public Prosecutor Satish R. Girji told the court that the investigation was complete and since there was no material on record, they did not require Nityananda's further custody.
Justice Subhash B. Adi then reserved orders for Friday.
The Madras High Court had stayed all criminal proceedings against Nityananda pending before a court at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu where a private complaint has been filed against the self-styled godman.

இதற்கிடையே, "ஆதீன மடத்தில் 16,18 வயதுப் பெண்கள் துப்பட்டாவும், பேண்ட்டும் அணியாமல் கவர்ச்சியாக நடமாடுகிறார்கள்.ஆங்காங்கே படுக்கைகள் எல்லாம் கிடக்கிறது.தவறான செயல்கள் நடக்கிற இடம் மாதிரி இருக்கிறது"என்று கலெக்டர் சகாயத்திடம் புகார் கொடுத்தார் மக்கள் முன்னேற்றக் கட்சி என்ற லட்டர் பேடு இயக்கத் தலைவர் முத்துராஜ்.

இதற்கிடையே,மதுரை ஆதீனத்தில் நடந்த இந்த கிறுக்குத்தனமான முடிவு குறித்து விவாதிப்பதற்காக, தமிழகத்தின் பிரதான மடதிபதிகள் எல்லாம் மே 1-ம் தேதி மயிலாடுதுறையில் அவசரக் கூட்டம் நடத்தினார்கள்.திருப்பனந்தாள் காசி திருமடத்து அதிபர் முத்துக்குமார சுவாமி தம்பிரான் முன்னிலையில் நடந்த இந்த கூட்டத்தில், தருமபுரம்,குன்றக்குடி,திருவாவடுதுறை உள்ளிட்ட ஆதீனங்கள் மற்றும் திருமடங்களைச் சேர்ந்த ஆதீனங்கள் உட்பட பலர் இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

அதேபோல,கூட்டுச் சதி 120(பி),மான நஷ்டம்,அவதூறு ஏற்படுத்துதல் 100, 101,சாதி பற்றி சரியான தவல்களைத் தெரிந்து கொள்ளாமல் தவறான தகவல்களைப் பரப்புவது 153(ஏ), என்னுடைய பக்தர்களின் மன உணர்வுகளைப் புண்படுத்தியது 295(ஏ) ஆகிய சட்டப் பிரிவுகளின் கீழ் உலகம் முழுவதும் உள்ள என்னுடைய மடங்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் அந்த மடாதிபதிகள் மீது தனித்தனியாக வழக்குத் தொடர்வார்கள்" என்று மிரட்டல் விடுத்தார் நித்தி. "இதுக்கு மேலும், இந்து அமைப்புகள் என்ற பெயரில் லோக்கல் ரௌடிகள் வயலன்ஸில் ஈடுபட்டால், அதற்கும் திருப்பனந்தாள் ஆதீனமே பொறுப்பு" என்றும் எச்சரித்தார் நித்தியானந்தா.
வைஸ்ணவி மீது தாக்குதல்
நித்தி மடத்திற்குள் நுழைந்ததும்,அருணகிரிநாதரின் காரியதரசியான வைஸ்ணவியின் முக்கியத்துவம்
குறைக்கப்பட்டது.ஒரு கட்டத்தில் வைஸ்ணவிக்கும், நித்தியின் சீடரின் மனைவிக்கும் சண்டை வந்தது.உடனே, நித்தியின் ஆட்கள் அவரைத் தாக்கினார்கள்.அதைத் தடுக்கவில்லை என்ற ஆத்திரத்தில்,ஆதீனத்துடன் கோபித்துக் கொண்டு மடத்தில் இருந்து காணாமல் போனார் வைஸ்ணவி.பின்பு,வைஸ்ணவி தாக்குதல் பற்றி விளக்கம் கொடுத்த நித்தி,"ஆதீனத்தில் இருந்த யாரையும் நாங்கள் வெளியேற்றவில்லை.அத்தனை பேரும் பணியில் இருக்கிறார்கள். தினமும் 20 மணி நேரம் உழைக்கின்ற 33 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட 1,800 இளைஞர்களைக்கொண்ட ஒரு மிகப் பெரிய 'ஒர்க்கஹாலிக் குரூப்' நாங்கள். பழைய ஆட்கள் வேறு மாதிரி செட்-அப்பில் பணி செய்திருப்பார்கள். அவர்களால் எங்களது வேகத்துக்கு ஈடுகொடுக்க முடியாததால், சிறுசிறு சச்சரவுகள். வைஷ்ணவிக்கும் எங்களது சீடர்களுக்கும் இடையே சிறு பிரச்னை ஏற்பட்டு, வாக்குவாதம் மட்டுமே நடந்திருக்கு.யாரும் அவரை அடிக்கவில்லை'' என்றார்.
நித்திக்கு வந்த சிக்கல்
நித்தி மதுரையில் இருந்த நாள் முழுக்க தினம் தினம் 'பிரஸ் மீட்' வைத்து யாரையாவது வசை பாடிக் கொண்டே இருந்தார்.மருத்துவ முகாம்,அன்னதானத் திட்டம் போன்றவற்றைத் தொடங்கி வைத்த அவர்,அடுத்து மருத்துவக் கல்லூரியும், பெரிய பெரிய கல்வி நிறுவனங்களையும் அமைக்கப் போவதாகவும் 'பீலா' விட்டார்.
ரஞ்சிதா விவகாரத்தில் அழிந்து போன தன்னுடைய இமேஜை ஆதீனப் பதவி மூலம் உயர்த்திவிட்டதாக அவர் கருதிய நேரத்தில், ஆர்த்தி ராவ் சொன்ன செக்ஸ் புகார்கள் விஸ்வமூபம் எடுத்தன.தப்பியோடி தலைமறைவாகும் சூழ்நிலைக்கு ஆளானார் நித்தி.

Nithyananda returned to Bidadi after a failed attempt to celebrate his Birthday in a grand way in Tiruvannamalai. The Tamil Nadu government refused to grant permission for Nithy's grand public celebrations and public discourse. Following the fiasco in Tiruvannamalai, Nithy promptly cancelled his 4 day meditation program in Salem. It appears Nithy has now shifted his program to his Bidadi ashram. But Nithy is facing trouble once again in Karnataka too as Kannada groups have protested against fraud godman.

முன்னதாக பெங்களூர் அருகே உள்ள பிடதியில் நித்யானந்தாவுக்கு ஆசிரமம் உள்ளது. மதிரை மடாதிபதியின் இளைய ஆதினமாக நித்தியானந்தா நியமிக்கப்பட்டதால் அவர் மதுரை வந்து பதவி ஏற்றார். ஆனால், அங்கு அவருக்கு எதிராக கடும் எதிர்ப்பு தோன்றியதால் அருணகிரிநாதர் நித்யானந்தாவின் பதவியைப் பறித்து விட்டார்.
இதனிடையே, நித்தியானந்தா பிடதி வந்துள்ளார் என்ற தகவல் வெளியானதைத் தொடர்ந்து கநாடக நவநிர்மான் சேனா அமைப்பைச் சேர்ந்த நூற்றுக்கணக்கானோர் பிடதிமுன் திரண்டு “நித்தியானந்தா வெளியேறு” என கோஷமிட்டு போராட்டத்தில் குதித்தனர். அவருடையே பதாகைகளில் கரி பூசினர். இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து போலீஸார் வந்து கூட்டத்தைக் கலைத்து விட்டனர்.

ರಾಮನಗರ: ಬಿಡದಿ ಬಳಿಯ ಧ್ಯಾನಪೀಠದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಇ¨ªಾನೆ ಎಂಬ ಸುಳಿವು ಕೊರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪರ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದನ ಗಡಿಪಾರಿಗೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ¨ªಾರೆ. ಬುಧವಾರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಜನಪರ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ರಾಜಾÂಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ರಮೇಶ್ ಗೌಡರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಧ್ಯಾನಪೀಠದ ಮುಂಭಾಗ ಧರಣಿ ಕುಳಿತು ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದನ ಗಡಿಪಾರಿಗೆ ಆಗಹಿಸಿದರುÅ. ಆರತಿರಾವ್ ಮತ್ತು ರಂಜಿತ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ನಂತರ ಈತನಿಂದಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳಂಕ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಈತನನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊರದಬ್ಬುವಂತೆ ಅವರು ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ¨ªಾರೆ. ಮುಚ್ಚಳಿಕೆ ಧಿಕ್ಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಆಕ್ರೋಶ: ಕೆಲವು ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಧ್ಯಾನಪೀಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಮುಚ್ಚಳಿಕೆ ಬರೆದುಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದರೂ ನಿನ್ನೆ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಿಂದ ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಕರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಧೀಕ್ಷೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಸಿ¨ªಾನೆ. ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕಾದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಆ ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಬಿಡದಿಯ ಧ್ಯಾನಪೀಠಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಜಿÇÉಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬರದುಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಮುಚ್ಚಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಧಿಕ್ಕರಿಸಿ¨ªಾನೆ ಎಂದು ರಮೇಶ್ ಗೌಡ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿ¨ªಾರೆ. 2013ರ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 1ರೊಳಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೊರೆಯಬೇಕು, ಜಿÇÉಾಡಳಿತವಾದರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಗಡಿಪಾರು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಧ್ಯಾನಪೀಠಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಓಡಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಗ ಆಗುವ ಎÇÉಾ ಅನಾಹುತಗಳಿಗೂ ಜಿÇÉಾಡಳಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿ¨ªಾರೆ. ಇದೇ ದಿನ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ನವ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಸೇನೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಕೂಡ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದನ ಗಡಿಪಾರಿಗೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ¨ªಾರೆ.

Police Deny Permission for Nithyananda to Celebrate His Birthday in Public Premises - போலீஸ் கண்காணிப்பு நித்யானந்தா பிறந்த நாள் கொண்டாட்டத்துக்கு தடை

Late in the Night of 5th, Nithya was informed by the local Thruvannamalai police that he is not allowed to enter the main Shiva temple on the 6th morning as per his schedule. Nithya's devotees had erected a huge temporary stage in front of the temple for Nithya to address the gathering and give his birthday message. Late on 5th night the police dismantled the stage and removed the audio system and warned Nithya that he would be arrested if he conducted a public address. So his 6th morning programme of visiting the Main Shiva temple in Thruvannamalai and addressing the devotees and giving his birthday message was cancelled. He never visited the temple. This is the first time perhaps he could not visit the temple on his birthday, from the time he became a so called Swami.
His evening programme in his Thruvannamalai Ashram also turned out to be a bigger fiasco. He erected a huge temporary stage in the open grounds and decked it up with floral decorations. Dinner for devotees was arranged in an adjoining school ground. His schedule was: At 4.30 PM pada puja and arati was to be performed in the Ananda Sabha by his fully brain washed devotees like Aiyya, Rishi and other fools. At 5.30PM he was supposed to be on the stage to be honored by his devotees. Sat sang and message was for 6.00PM to be followed by individual darshan and dinner. His brainwashed organizers from nearby villages arranged for about 10 bus loads of poor villagers. The organizers paid Rs500.00 per person with free mala, meals and transport. It was a paid holiday trip for the villagers. Nithya wants crowds for advertisement and is willing to pay for them. This is a practice followed by political parties in India. Sad but this is the truth.
By about 3.00PM a crowd of about 2000 was managed by Nithya's organizers. Most of the crowd were villagers who were paid to attend the programme. The Police about 200 personnel in all arrived in 4 vans at around 3.30PM and surrounded the Ashram. The inspector went inside and told Nithya that he was not permitted to take the stage and address a public gathering. He could only give darshan to his devotees in a room/ hall and accept pada puja. Once the police realized that the majority of the so called devotees were a paid crowd, they promptly dispersed them and sent them back to their villages. Nithya was warned not to take the stage and address the crowd. He promptly cancelled the evening program. As I write this the police are still posted in the Ashram. Tomorrow he has announced an NSP program in nearby Salem District. We need to see if he will take the program as announced or will cancel the same.

கிரிவலப்பாதையில் உள்ள ஆசிரமத்தில் மேடை அமைத்து பிரசங்கம் செய் யவும், ஒலிபெருக்கிகளை பயன்படுத்தவும் கூடாது என போலீசார் தடை விதித்தனர். மாட வீதியில் மேடை அமைக்கும் முயற்சியையும் இரவோடு இரவாக போலீசார் தடுத்தனர். மேலும், கிரிவலப்பாதையில் உள்ள நித்யானந்தாவின் ஆசிரமத்தை கையகப்படுத்தும் நடவடிக்கை தொடர்பான வழக்கு கோர்ட்டில் நிலுவையில் இருப்பதால், அங்கு எவ்வித விதிமீறல் நடவடிக்கையிலும் நித்யானந்தா ஈடுபடக்கூடாது என ஏற்கனவே திருவண்ணாமலை தாலுகா போலீசில் அறநிலையத்துறை உதவி ஆணையர் புகார் அளித்திருக்கிறார்.
அதனால், விதிமீறல்கள் நடைபெறுகிறதா, கோர்ட் உத்தரவு மீறப்படுகிறதா என அறநிலையத் துறையினரும், போலீசாரும் நேற்று ஆசிரமப் பகுதியில் தீவிர கண்காணிப்பில் ஈடுபட்டனர். இதனால் அதிர்ச்சிய டைந்த நித்யானந்தா, பிறந்த நாள் கொண்டாட்டத் தை தவிர்த்தார். மேலும், திட்டமிட்டபடி நேற்று அதிகாலை அண்ணாமலையார் கோயிலுக்கும் அவர் வரவில்லை. முன்னெச்சரிக்கை நடவடிக்கையாக கோயிலில் பலத்த போலீஸ் பாதுகாப்பு போ டப்பட்டிருந்தது.
கிரிவலப் பாதையில் உள்ள ஆசிரமத்தில் பிறந்த நாள் கொண்டாட்டத்துக்காக அமைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த பிரம்மாண்டமான மே டைக்கும் நித்யானந்தா வரவில்லை. ஆசிரமத்தை சுற்றிலும் போலீசார் பாதுகாப்பு பணியில் ஈடுபட்டனர். பிறந்தநாள் கொண்டாட்டத்துக்காக வெளியூர்களில் இருந்து அழைத்து வரப்பட்ட சீடர்கள், பரபரப்பான சூழ்நிலையால் உடனடியாக திரும்பிச் சென்றனர்.

-மதுரை ஆதீன மடத்தின் இளைய ஆதீனமாக நித்யானந்தாவை அருணகிரி நாதர் நியமித்தார். இதற்கு பல்வேறு அமைப்புகள் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்து வந்ததால் இளைய ஆதீனம் பதவியி லிருந்து நித்யானந்தாவை நீக்கி அருணகிரி நாதர் உத்தரவிட்டார்.
இந்நிலையில் மதுரை ஆதீனம் மடத்திற்குள் நித்யானந்தா அவரது சீடர்களை நுழைய தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று சப்-கோர்ட்டில் அருணகிரி நாதர் மனுத்தாக்கல் செய்தார். இந்த மனுவில் நித்யானந்தா நியமனத்தை ரத்து செய்து விட்டேன். அவர் இளைய ஆதீனமாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டபோதும் ஆதீனம் சொத்துக்களை நிர்வகிக்க நானும், அவரும் சேர்ந்து ஏற்படுத்திய அறக்கட்டளை கலைக்கப்பட்டு விட்டது. எனவே அறக்கட்டளை கலைக்கப்பட்டதை பதிவு செய்ய சார்பதிவாளருக்கு உத்தர விட வேண்டும்.
மேலும் மடத்துக்குள் நித்யானந்தாவும் அவரது ஆட்களும் நுழைய தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும் என கூறப்பட்டிருந்தது. இந்த மனுவுக்கு நித்யானந்தா தரப்பில் பதில் தெரிவிக்க அவகாசம் கோரப்பட்டு வந்த நிலையில் அவரது தரப்பில் நேற்று மனுத்தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது. அதில் என்னை இளைய ஆதீனமாக நியமித்தது மரபுப்படி சரியானது தான். ஆதீன மடத்துக்கு நானும், எனது ஆதரவாளர்களும் நுழைய மாட்டோம். எந்த தொந்தரவும் எங்களால் ஏற்படாது. எனவே மதுரை ஆதீனத்தின் இடைக்கால மனுவை தள்ளுபடி செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இந்த மனுவுக்கு பதில் மனுத்தாக்கல் செய்யும்படி ஆதீனம் தரப்பிற்கு நீதிபதி குருவையா உத்தரவிட்டு வழக்கை வருகிற 8-ந்தேதிக்கு ஒத்தி வைத்தார்.

India mourns for Delhi gang rape victim
India mourns for the brave victim of Delhi gang rape. Deepest condolences to her family. may her soul rest in peace.
The prime minister has promised that her death will not be in vain. We hope stricter rape laws will be brought so that rape trials will be conducted in special courts in daily basis, and all the legal loopholes exploited by rapists will be fixed to give them the harshest punishments.
Rape and all forms of violence against women is a shame to this country where women are worshipped as goddesses. The youth of our country have spoken out in a single voice against such violence. We hope this will give courage to all victims to speak out against their abuse and seek swift justice against their abusers

Who is the innocent? The victim or the rapist?
For those who have not been following the Nithy case and not been up to date with news and all the details of the case, it is very likely that you are not aware of the latest news that a woman victim has complained against Nithy! Finally a woman had the courage to speak out about the atrocities, despite all the social stigma in India for a rape victim and risk to her personal safety. But the retaliation and smear campaign to humiliate and silence her has already begun from Nithy's side!!!! To make the readers more aware of the facts in this case, we are forced to point out some facts and truths that are being conveniently covered up with repeated lies from Nithy's camp! In a recent article posted on their blog, titled 'Guilty until proven innocent?' the rapist is being portrayed as a victim and the victim is being disposed off as irrelevant and judged as false!!! The court shall decide who is really innocent, the victim or the rapist, but you should know the many hidden facts and inside informations that may never reach the common person who may follow this case. How much longer will crocodile tears flow for Nithy?! When will his ashramite victims stand up for Dharma!!

If you have been tracking the Nithyananda Swami case, one question that can’t skip your mind is: What is this Indian legal system all about?
In the last hearing on Sep 13, the CID alleged there was a woman who lodged a rape complaint against Nithyananda.
Let us take a quick look at what really happened in this case.
A video was released showing Nithyananda and a Tamil actress allegedly in an intimate scene. The public opinion was cunningly turned against the young charismatic guru who happens to be the most popular spiritual guru today. This was the stage that was set… for what? For slapping a ridiculous police complaint (that got instantly turned into an FIR) against Nithyananda in some remote place in Tamilnadu. The video was used to turn the entire nation’s view, even the court’s view, on a ridiculous FIR.
The Indian legal system is finally working! If Nithy was innocent why did he run away for more than a month? Why did he hide when he knew that the Police were hunting him? Why did he have to be dragged like a common criminal from his hide out when he proclaims he is an avatara purusha? Of course, he also claims when it suits him that he is no purusha but a napumsaka!
Nithy spoke to more than a hundred former followers all over the world with the same message. He said that the video that was telecast nationwide (of him engaging in sex with a woman) was all true. He said that he did it without lust. Doctors will have a problem believing that a man can have an erection and engage in sex without lust.
This is the same case as his frontal lobe lighting up and dopamine pouring out. He is a classic schizophrenic. He is also a sex addict.
He apologized to all these people profusely and also cried seeking their understanding. Not one or two but hundreds. He told them, "Please tell all others that I acted without lust. I made a mistake, but it will not happen ever again".
Since Nithy himself admitted that his romps with the Andhra porn star were true, why is the FIR ridiculous. since when did the truth become ridiculous.
How else do you explain someone being kept in custody for 53 days without even a complainant just based on a ‘hearsay’ FIR? There are various charges on Nithyananda:
The most ridiculous charge was RAPE – who is the person who was raped? What is her identity? The FIR itself is based on an anonymous letter by some lady who claims to have been raped. When that didn’t hold in the court, the investigation authorities closed the issue saying the Tamil actress allegedly in the video has denied anything to do with the whole matter. (But they made everyone forget that there was no rape charge on her in the first place!)
But this is not the end of this ridiculous issue…
On the hearing on Sep 13, the court literally rapped the CID for not being able to produce a shred of evidence to support their case. It repeatedly observed that there was nothing to support the charges of 376 and 420. It directed investigation of 295 (A) and 377 and granted the time requested by the CID of 4 weeks to investigate.
Not 4 weeks, but 7 weeks the CID took to investigate. Don’t forget that every minute of extension of a case, the accused has to endure patiently. He has to reconcile that it is (only) his life that is being footballed. Thank god, Nithyananda is enlightened! It must be an easy thing!
At the end of 7 weeks, they come back on Sep 13 with absolutely no progress in the investigation. The hearing gets posted for Sep 21.
What happens?
What he committed was rape.. the victims know this. The public shall also know this soon, when it is proved in the courts! It is not just one or two victims as he first claimed, but dozens and some below the age of consent.These women were afraid to speak out about the inappropriate sex, as most women raised in India would be. On top of his misdeeds Nithy also told them that he could harm them through his tantric rites, which his willing sanyasi disciples reinforced. No one wanted to suffer more than they already did. Telling the Police was not an option for many of them, for reasons that are very obvious and clear in the Indian social context. Still, many came forward and spoke to the Police, but stopped at giving written or spoken evidence due to fear of retaliation, revenge and public humiliation not only for themselves, but for the respectable families they come from. The Police was working with its hands tied. They had to make sure that the evidence was water tight. Anyone who knows about our legal system would certify that 7 weeks is jet speed for such cases. Most drag on for years. Why is Nithy baba so special!
The CID comes back and for the first 20 minutes of the session, they are grilled by the judge as to what evidence they have – if they don’t have any, he will have to quash the investigation.
Just at that time, suddenly, the DIG CID, Mr. Charan Reddy gets up and makes a statement that they have a statement of a woman who claims to have been raped by Nithyananda?!
And when was she raped?
In 2005!
So what was she doing for 5 years? Waiting for an opportunity to ride on someone else’s FIR?
If there was indeed such a serious charge of rape, if there was indeed a real victim, would the CID have been quiet on 3 major occasions when they should have offered the same to the court?
One should not forget that on 23rd July, the Investigating Officer himself said that there was absolutely no evidence to support the charge of rape. On 31st August a SLP was filed in the Supreme Court that the High Court is restricting the CID by a time-bound investigation! When it was actually the CID that asked for 4 weeks which was granted by the High Court and that actually extended to 7 weeks. Again in Ramanagara Sessions court there was an opportunity to highlight the change of condition. Finally on Sep 13, in the High Court hearing, after 20 minutes of drawing flak from the judge, the senior of the Investigating Officer stands up and makes a statement about some alleged woman alleging rape!
Who is the victim? When is the incident alleged? Where is the FIR? What investigation was done on the alleged complaint? Why was such an important piece of information not brought to the notice of 3 different courts on 3 separate occasions – Ramanagara Sessions court, High Court of Karnataka and Supreme Court of India?
This is nothing short of a misuse of power, a transgression of law, a clear case of harassment against an individual who happens to be a fast-growing person in popularity worldwide.
Anyone who has studied cases of rape in India would understand that all these allegations are coming straight from the rapist. this is the classic strategy of a rapist, by making the rape victim the criminal instead of the monster who raped. Nithy's men and women are doing a great job in trying the victim. Unfortunately this tactic has failed all over the world including India.
The pity here is that it is a woman who raises her voice against an other woman, who has been wronged. She should hang her head in shame. Perhaps she is ignorant (like most others) or is fully aware of the facts and truth, but sufficiently brainwashed to turn a blind eye to it, ignore all common sense and continue to dance to Nithy's tunes. But not everyone is like her... atleast some victims are coming out of Nithy's heavy brainwashing and speaking out the truth.
A crime is a crime... no matter how much time has passed after the crime was committed! And a victim of a crime has the fundamental right to speak out about the crime whenever they are ready to speak out about it. Remember the case in Punjab, where a Police DIG has now been convicted after 12 years of the incident. That was molestation, not even rape, though the victim committed suicide. What do these people want? Would they like the victims to die so that Police and Courts can become silent?
These are no allegations. Police has submitted proof. The court will now study this and award punishment.
Who is behind all this? Is this what you get for being a religious practitioner in this country and that too of the supposed majority religion? Is this what you get for offering social services to the people at large? Is this what is meant by protection of the liberty and the fundamental constitutional rights of a citizen?
It is a shame… There are many questions staring at the face of every Indian who should simply hang his head in shame for the gross injustice that is being committed against a person. If we really feel for this great tradition of Bharat, it is high time we stood by the people who are here to share with us to share their wisdom for a better, beautiful life for all of us. We need to stand up strong against the evil forces that are conspiring to keep this country enslaved ideologically even though we got our political freedom over 50 years ago.
Who has to hang whose head in shame? Nithy and his cohorts are cavorting. Nithy is probably doing it behind the throne even now, while his followers are in meditation. He is sick and needs medical attention.
One woman had the courage to step forward. We hope that the rest will follow. Otherwise the guilt of their silence will follow them to their grave.
Nithy's men are already planning what to do when he goes in for a long long time. In fact they are counting the days to Nithy's counting the prison bars.

Lenin (Dharmananda) appeals to victims
This is an appeal to all those who have been a victim of Nithyananda – any kind of victim, including a victim of his fraud, his deception, financial cheating, his lies, his physical abuse, his verbal abuse, his mental abuse and his sexual abuse!
You have been watching the Nithyananda case with interest from the day the scandal broke out. As a victim you know that everything I have said about Nithyananda is true, it is not a conspiracy or baseless allegations as Nithyananda and his team has projected it to be. Maybe Nithyananda can fool the general public by pretending to be a great saint, and he can pay enough local leaders to give public statements supporting him and his (greedy) mission.
But YOU know that I am speaking the truth! And I am speaking for each and every victim, including those of you who are still brainwashed to stay in the organization and support Nithyananda.
You (as a victim) know that Nithyananda is NOT a saint; he is not even a good human being! You know how much he lies about everything. He claims he is innocent because no victim has complained against him. But YOU know that he is guilty. He told the CID he is not a man and that he is impotent. But if you were a victim of his sexual abuse, then you (& maybe even your family) know that this is a complete lie! You know that he has abused the trust of thousands of disciples and devotees who trusted him with their lives. We trusted that he will guide us on the right path to live a very dharmic spiritual life, but in reality he just used his position (of power) as a guru and abused our trust in him. You and I know families that have realized this shocking truth and are grieving for justice. I know that you and other victims like you are reading this blog regularly. So at least now please join this fight for justice and truth.
I have done my best to expose the real Nithyananda to the world, with the single intention of stopping the adharma (of his immoral actions and deceptions). The police are doing their best to bring justice and to help the victims. But the police and the law cannot make Nithyananda pay for his wrongdoings without the help of the victims!
It is time for YOU as a victim to join this fight and put an end to all the lies that Nithyananda and his organization are perpetrating. If you don’t take any action now, you can be sure that he will continue to play with words and legal loopholes. Not only will he escape from the law, but he will also continue to claim that he is not guilty of any wrongdoing simply because nobody complained against him. He will continue to exploit and abuse more people in the future. Now, there are approximately 40 victims from his abuses (there may be more!), but if he continues his mission, it will become 400 or maybe even 4000 in the future!
You can see clearly how he is building his political support and connections for a more secure future. If you are afraid to speak up now against him, surely in the future it will be even harder to stop him. Nithyananda knows that if he repeats a lie 100 times then soon people will start believing his lie to be the truth! It worked for Hitler in Nazi Germany, and Nithyananda will make it work for him too. There is not much difference between Hitler and Nithyananda if you think about it. At least Hitler was an obvious dictator and there was no deception, but Nithyananda is a cunning wolf in the disguise of a sheep!
You and I both know very well all the brainwashing he has done over the years (and continues to do now) to make us doubt our rational intelligence, questioning mind and even our own conscience – by calling it all a mind game of our ego, and by convincing us that as spiritual seekers we must drop our rational mind (basic intelligence) to achieve enlightenment. In the name of ‘guru bhakti’ or devotion to the master, he has told us never to question him, to blindly accept everything he says, and made us tell many lies and do many things that we know clearly is against our own conscience.
We have all made mistakes by accepting him as God or ultimate guru and blindly following him. At least now, you can choose to trust your god-given intelligence and your own sense of dharma (right and wrong actions). I understand you are afraid to speak up against Nithyananda because you know very well that he will try his best to shut you up by hook or crook (by preying on your fears or even paying money)! We know he will stoop to any level to save himself from going to jail and paying for all his wrong actions! Being a silent spectator may save you for some time. But if you really want to save yourself and many others (future victims) like you, please choose the right action of coming forward and complaining against Nithyananda.

Here is a song I dedicate to all the victims. It symbolizes my appeal for support and unity in our struggle against Nithyananda. The song from the movie Lagaan, is about a small group of villagers who united in their struggle against the mighty British empire. With their united efforts they defeated the British in a challenge. As it rightly says in the song: “When a single finger is raised, it can be broken easily; but when all 5 fingers unite, they can form a fist and become much more powerful!”
