HEALTH: SEX ADDICTION Hyper Sexed Sex addiction is an affliction of the times. Cure lies in solidarity. One of Arjun’s earliest memories is a sexual one. Even today, each time he goes back to his village in Andhra Pradesh, he becomes that four-year-old enticed by his older cousin into playing ‘sex games’. While the other kids played in the fruit orchards, they took turns pulling down each other’s pants and revealing their genitals. It was a pow­erful experience recreated over and over again over eight years. But what started as a ‘boyish pursuit’ soon took over his whole life. “By the time I was in high school, I was proving my masculinity by abusing a female cousin to quench my insatiable hun­ger for sex,” notes Arjun, PhD scholar by day, sex addict 24/7. He’s 29 and it’s like his life has already fallen through the cracks. The ‘disease’ now has a life and agenda of its own, manifested through anonymous sex, compulsive masturbation, obsessive fantasising and internet porn. “When I wanted to ‘act out’, the urge didn’t go away, nor did I feel satisfied after the fix,” admits Arjun. “It’s an affliction that costs you time, money, relationships, jobs and even freedom, but the consequences do not limit your actions.” Things came to a head, however, after he got into the pro­s­titutes grid. “I was guilt-ridden and esc­­aping from everybody. At one level, I thought it’s dangerous, but at another the thought of having multiple partners was invigorating.” It was this despair that fin­ally led Arjun to Sex Addicts Anony­­m­ous, a self-help group in Delhi that runs on the principles of Alcoholics Anonym­ous and deals with addictive sexual beh­­aviour (SPYM building, 111/9 Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, Sector B4, Vasant Kunj, Delhi. There are about 25-30 people holding hands, meditating, discussing past traumas. “I exp­erienced both joy and hope from knowing that the sexual chaos of my life had a name and that it held in it the potential for recovery,” reveals Sagar, 26, who’s just comp­l­e­ted 90 days of ‘sobriety’. The weekly ses­sions kick off with the edict, “I Am A Sex Addict”, the first recognisable step on the ladder to recovery. Started over a year ago, SAA is a comfort space for sexaholics in Delhi in the abse­nce of adequate psychiatric care or support str­u­ctures. “Competent psychiatrists or sexologists can help addicts to an ext­­ent, but support groups provide the bac­kbone of care. A commonality of exp­­eriences binds people,” says sexolog­ist Prakash Kothari, who set up Asia’s first departm­ent of sexology at KEM Hospital, Mumbai. With more deaddiction centres for other maladies and an increase in consciousness, sexual healing too got a shot in the arm. Delhi, Ban­g­a­lore and Ahmedabad now have centres.         “The mind of the sex addict is quite differently wired... the aim isn’t abstinence but stopping obsession.”     Of course the first step to getting cured is admitting that you have a problem. Anil, a cha­rismatic, middle-aged banker, reveals that his super-successful deme­a­n­our is mostly a fac­ade—“people would be shell-shocked” if they knew his history. He remembers the bad guy in his 20s compulsively jerking off in office, the picking up of bar dancers (over 100 of them) and the hooking up with random girls on matrimonial sites. “It was after four years of attending the 12-step prog­ramme that it finally hit me...the problem lay in my indiscriminate fantasising.” He agrees that the addict must first break the denial mode, realise the problem is in the “mind, body and soul”. Vipul, a 29-year-old businessman from Baroda, calls it a combination of “physical allergy, mental obsession and spiritual malady”. Having undergone a year’s deaddiction progra­mme in Ahm­e­dabad, he feels the malaise could well be the next epidemic unless India wakes up to the ‘real issue’. “Your life becomes unmanageable because of an all-pervas­ive sexual mania. Most rap­ists are add­icts and who wants a proliferation of more obsessive behaviour?” Indeed, sexual obsession can be both complex and layered. The term, coi­­ned by Patrick Carnes in 1983 in his book Out of the Shadows: Understanding Sexual Add­iction, has of late become vivid in the popular imagination with sev­eral books and films on the subject, not to mention the celebrities unravelling in full public gaze. Michael Fassbender in Steve McQ­ueen’s Shame, and other films like Nym­phomaniac and Thanks for Shar­ing have taken a somewhat taboo subject till now head on. Recent books like Don’t Call it Love: Recovery from Sexual Addiction and Wired for Intimacy: How Pornography Hijacks the Male Brain too have put the spotlight on the issue. An estimated two million internet porn addicts are in and out of recovery today in the West. According to Dr A. Chakravarthy, consultant in sexual medicine in Kerala, “Dia­gnosing sexual addiction is primarily through investigating sexual history. Patients spend excessive time seeking ways to gratify sexual urges and feel distressed if they can’t. There are feelings of guilt, but that doesn’t stop them from indulging in similar behaviour again. Indeed, it becomes their coping mechanism to deal with stress and loneliness.” Suresh, a 46-year-old recovering grap­hic designer, remembers his former self as a “mentally sick person” scouring thr­o­ugh “50 kilos” of pornography in six mon­ths and allowing real-world rel­­­a­t­ionships to suffer. “I was an addict from the age of 11 right up to 40. The mind of an addict is  differently wired and one has to work hard on one’s sobriety. The aim isn’t abs­tinence but stopping obsession.” What Suresh laments is the fact that psychiatrists, instead of getting addicts into support groups, are only concerned about their own business. “Even now, when an addict walks into the office of a psychiatrist, he feels the stigma staring right at him.” Still, there is light at the end of the tunnel. “It’s like a spiritual cleansing when you finally come out on the other side,” says Suresh. Who is the real 'Godman?'

The Supreme Court yet again brushed aside jailed spiritual leader Asaram Bapu's request to restrain the electronic media from vilifying him as a villain in the alleged sexual assault cases. Every year, the media has a field day whenever there's a fake Baba on the loose. With the rise in the self-proclaimed god-mans, the people don't really blame exaggerating the issue a tad too much.

In August 2013, Asaram was accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl at his ashram in Jodhpur on the pretext of exorcising her from evil spirits. Two days after the alleged assault the girl's parents, they filed a complaint with the police in Delhi and a medical examination confirmed that she had been assaulted.

There are incidents, across the country with these so called holy men performing miracles on the weak minded, like the recent one in Hyderabad where a man claimed to ward off evil on your family. All with the help of an earthen bowl with certain inscriptions, a few nails, an egg and a handful of grains. This is a new trend being adopted by many fake babas operating in the city. Despite frequent drives by police to check their activities, they continue to cheat the public by promising to solve their problems using some 'dubious tactics'.

People always look for something to believe in. And these godmen take advantage of it with their tricks. When a person seeks solace in babas, he transfers his entire mental burden upon them. He is deluded into believing that a supernatural power is taking care of his responsibilities and helping him. If any good happens in his life, he takes it as a blessing from the baba and becomes devoted to him for life.

In the latest trend, the fake babas are now selling an earthen bowl for anywhere between Rs. 1,100 and Rs. 21,000. They sell it claiming that disposing of the bowl at some place on a specific day would help in getting rid of the particular problem, it is said. A chunk of the clients are women who throng the so-called faith healing dens to get their issues resolved. But most of them end up getting cheated, it is said.

All right, money could always make its way back, but these Babas seem to have something else on mind when they lure these innocent followers. Some get them addicted to narcotics, while some others get them to do sexual favours for them without their knowledge. The news of Bangalore's 'Sex Swami' is certainly not new to any of us. Nithyananda who was arrested by the Bangalore Police way back in 2010 for rape, criminal conspiracy and cheating among others, still doesn't fail to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. And the cases of unusual happenings at the camps of various self-style godmen has become such blasé these days that no one really pays much attention anymore.

The law enforcement fails at major levels in the country, with these godmen carving a special for themselves in the minds of people with each passing day despite the many shocking incidents that continue to shock the common man. Where does the problem lie? Why do these men get a free run despite the heinousness of their crimes? Is moral conscience and ethical behaviour so much on the decline that people resort to such stooping levels to earn money? Or is it so difficult to get employed by decent means that cheating and deception seem far too easy?

What we really need at the moment is for people to come forward and report the incidents, take a stand and fight these fraudsters. Apparently afraid of getting exposed, most of the victims do not come forward to lodge complaints with the police. And as a result the phony babas enjoy a free run. This alone might not be the solution, because, for one, people need to learn put their faith and trust in something more legitimate and credible than some roadside phony.

Better laws, better enforcement, better regard to conscience and a tad bit of common sense is what the society needs to combat the existing moral rampage that is prevalent. While people involved in the act should never go unpunished, it is of the common notion that the society also owes quite a bit in terms of responsibility.

For the lay, Nithyananda's transcendental lies

It took A Rajasekharan, alias Paramahamsa Nithyananda, the man masquerading as a spiritual leader and healer of mental and physical afflictions, nearly two weeks to come out and claim that he was in a ‘trance’ when he was filmed having sex with a Tamil actress. Obviously, Nithyananda, who claims to have experienced ‘truth’ and ‘enlightenment’, is not anywhere near speaking the truth.

The ‘paramahamsa’ does not even have the courage to own up to the fact that he gave in to a moment of human weakness (it is another matter that it was not simply a momentary lapse of ascetic strength; that was his wont and the sine qua non of his so-called spiritual movement). How do we describe such a man? A fraud? A confidence trickster? A villainous manipulator? A sociopath on the loose?

The common dictionary definition of trance is “a half-conscious state, seemingly between sleeping and waking, in which ability to function voluntarily may be suspended”. If Nithyananda is trying to tell the world at large, and especially his disciples, that he was in fact violated by Ranjitha, the Tamil actress he is shown to have sex with, he is lying. For, nobody who has seen the video clips would be fooled about his claim. It is pretty much obvious that Nithyananda was not in a state of trance, or as he put it, ‘in deep samadhi’. He was, to use his own cultic language, in a state of extreme ecstatic bliss.

What Nithyananda has attempted to do through his statements aired via his own website or a couple of television news channels is to sway the flagging support among his youthful followers. The efforts to clear himself by replying to inspired questions put by a researcher of little academic recognition, the use of spurious cultic language (‘deep silent meditation’) and other forms of half-baked comments exposed an essentially flawed and devious mind incapable of taking on the truth. But these, according to sociological studies of the 1950s, also indicated that as a cult leader Nithyananda tried to change his devotees’ and television viewers’ belief systems via ‘sensory overload’ and subverting their ability to reason.

Even if it is assumed that some of the studies used over-generalised stereotypes of deception on the part of cult leaders, there is no denying the fact that Nithyananda is now employing a stratagem to trick people into believing that he committed no wrong. He has persuasion techniques, but part-admitting to have been ‘served’ by Ranjitha and lying on his state of consciousness will not go a long way to establish his credibility among the people at large. In many ways, Nithyananda has been found out. The videos ensured that first and then his statements left no doubt in the minds of the people that the man they watched on the television screen was an inveterate liar.

Credibility
Duping people by half-baked tantric concepts like being in a state of trance will only alienate his cultic order from those who are more rational in judging and concluding the moral worth of a man who claims to be, and is projected by some of his associates, as an ‘enlightened Master’.

Nithyananda was mistaken to be a charismatic leader by members of his cult. A deviant and perverse impersonation of malignity, Nithyananda tried to use the sublime ideals of Hinduism and Brahminism to achieve a rather base objective — wealth accumulation the easy way.

There is a large and established body of scholarly literature, far more credible and grounded in rationality than the mish-mash of Brahmanical and occult practices that Nithyananda bandied about through his teachings and sermons, but which are, to say the least, a perverse attack on the ideals of Brahmanism, Sanatana Dharma and Vedanta philosophy. He tried to hijack all of these in one go without even adequately comprehending them in their fullest depth. He tried to sell them expensive, the cost of which he is now paying by way of social revile.

It is best left to scholars of theology, religion and cults to ascertain what Nithyananda’s organisation, which sociologists would agree was formed to satisfy the personal interests of its leader and a few others, attempted to propagate was impairing and destructive. Nithyananda is no Moses trying to deliver his fringe flock to freedom. His seven-year movement, if it can be described as one at all, is an experiment with a self-deceiving, illusory conception of an alternative way of life that was not altruistic in the sense that it was not directed at ameliorating the lot of the poor, the marginalised, the disempowered and the wretched of society.

Nithyananda tried to engineer the beliefs of many young people that the freedom to lead wholly self-indulgent lives could provide them with the sense of purpose and direction in life they so ardently sought. Having taken the pendulum of freedom to its outermost limits, after throwing hundreds of young minds back into a regressive mode by inculcating in them the idea that he was their Master, the arbiter of their souls, and by telling them that their salvation lay at his ‘lotus feet’, Nithyananda has now found a barren vista.

பெங்களூரு: 'பிடதி ஆசிரமம் சார்பில் நடத்தப்படும், குருக்கள் பள்ளியில், நித்யானந்தா பாதங்களை கழுவி, பாத பூஜை செய்ய வேண்டும்' என, மாணவர்கள் கட்டாயப்படுத்தப்பட்டதாக புகார் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதனால், "மாணவர்களை தன் முன், ஆஜர்படுத்த வேண்டும்' என, ராம் நகர் மாவட்ட கலெக்டர் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.

பெங்களூரில் உள்ள, பிடதி, நித்யானந்தா ஆசிரமம் சார்பில், "ஸ்கூல் ஆப் தாட்ஸ்' என்ற குருக்கள் பள்ளி நடத்தப்படுகிறது. இந்த பள்ளியில், 80 மாணவர்கள் படிக்கின்றனர். கல்வித் துறையின், பாட முறைகள் இங்கு இல்லை. நித்யானந்தா எழுதிய, "உலக சரித்திரம்' என்ற நூலை மையமாகக் கொண்டு, பாடம் நடத்தப்படுகிறது. கடந்த, 2010ல், நித்யானந்தா மீது பாலியல் புகார் எழுந்த பின், இப்பள்ளியில் படித்த மாணவர்களுக்கு, மற்ற பள்ளிகளில், அட்மிஷன் கிடைக்கவில்லை. நித்யானந்தா ஆசிரமம் சார்பில், மலேசியாவில் நடத்தப்படும், குருக்கள் பள்ளியை, நல்ல முறையில் நிர்வகிக்க, பெண் சீடர் ஒருவரை, 2005ல், நித்யானந்தா அனுப்பினார். அந்தப் பெண் சீடரின் மகன், பிடதி ஆசிரம குருக்கள் பள்ளியில் படித்து வந்தான். அந்தச் சிறுவன், திடீரென விஷம் குடித்ததால், மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டான். அதனால், மலேசியாவிலிருந்து திரும்பும்படி, அவனின் தாயாருக்கு தகவல் அனுப்பப்பட்டது. அந்தப் பெண் சீடரும் பெங்களூரு திரும்பி, மருத்துவமனையில் விசாரித்த போது, மகன் விஷம் குடித்ததை அறிந்தார். இதையடுத்து, போலீசில் புகார் செய்தார். அந்தப் புகாரில், "பிடதி ஆசிரமத்தில், என் மகனை கொடுமை செய்துள்ளனர். அதனால் தான், அவன் விஷம் குடித்துள்ளான். இந்த விவகாரத்தை, ஆசிரம நிர்வாகிகள் மறைக்க முற்படுகின்றனர்' என, தெரிவித்திருந்தார்.

கர்நாடகாவில் உள்ள நித்யானந்தாவின் ஆசிரமத்தில் காவல்துறையினர் அதிரடி சோதனை மேற்கெண்டுள்ள சம்பவம் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

 நித்தியானந்தா குருகுல் விளக்கம் மேலும் நித்தியானந்தா குருகுல் அளித்துள்ள ஒரு விளக்கத்தில், சில அதிகாரிகள் குருகுல் வளாகத்திற்குள் அத்துமீறி நுழைந்து அங்கு கொடுமைகளில் ஈடுபட்டனர். இதுகுறித்து குருகுல் நிர்வாகிகளும், சம்பந்தப்பட்ட குழந்தைகளின் பெற்றோர்களும் சட்டப்பூர்வமான நோட்டீஸ்களை அதிகாரிகளுக்கு அனுப்பியுள்ளனர். இதுதொடர்பான புகார் கர்நாக முதல்வர், உள்துறை அமைச்சர் ஆகியோருக்கும் அனுப்பப்பட்டுள்ளது. மாவட்ட எஸ்.பி., கலெக்டர் ஆகியோருக்கும் புகார் நகல் அனுப்பப்பட்டுள்ளது. குழந்தைகளை கொடுமைப்படுத்திய அதிகாரிகள் குறித்து 40க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பெற்றோர்கள் கடும் எதிர்ப்பும், அதிருப்தியும், கோபமும் வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். தங்களது குழந்தைகள் குருகுலத்தி்ல நிம்மதியாகவும், சந்தோஷமாகவும் இருப்பதாகவும் அவர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர் என்று தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Nithyananda ashram produces 88 students before child welfare panel

Accused of rights violations, the Bidadi ashram of self-styled godman Nithyananda Tuesday produced 88 of the 108 students registered with it and their parents before the Ramanagaram child welfare committee (CWC). The district officer of the CWC, Radha, was present.

The students from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, the US, UK, Singapore and Australia were produced following a directive by the district authorities.

The district administration was recently asked by the women and child welfare department of the state government to rescue the children after a complaint that the ashram was violating rights.

Following notices issued by the administration, the ashram had written to the Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (KSCPCR) expressing willingness to produce the children before it or the CWC.

Member Shivalingaiah said according to documents placed before the KSCPCR, 19 of the 108 children studying at the Bidadi ashram were transferred to other institutions or handed over to their parents.

"We have asked them to provide authentic documents for transfer of the 19 children and produce before the CWC on Tuesday a student other than the 88," he said.

Shivalingaiah said the CWC held a counselling session with the children and their parents.

"We found the children brilliant. But they are not receiving formal education. They (the ashram) do not have accreditation from any government agency, they do not follow the law of the land and do not have an authentic syllabus for the children," he said.

The CWC would submit a detailed report to the state government for further action, sources said.

The Karnataka government may be asked to approach governments of other states to verify details of the children and their parents.

"We have collected many documents regarding the children, their parents and their education system. They (ashram) claim they have accreditation from a Singapore system. We will verify all documents. We will have a meeting soon to decide action," Shivalingaiah said.

Chairperson H R Umesh Aradhya said the KSCPCR would decide further action after receiving the CWC report. "We will also visit the ashram after verification of the CWC report," he said.

ರಾಮನಗರ, ಅ.15: ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಘಟಕ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ನೋಟೀಸ್ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 80ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರುವಾಗ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಗಲಾಟೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಘಟನೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಬದ್ದವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಸುಮಾರು 47 ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮೂಲ ಸೌಕರ್ಯ, ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಫಲರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ದೂರಿನ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಪೋಷಕರನ್ನು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಘಟಕದ ಮುಂದೆ ಹಾಜರುಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನೋಟೀಸ್ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ನೋಟೀಸ್ ಗೆ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಘೋಷಿತ ದೇವಮಾನವ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಅವರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಉತ್ತರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನೋಟಿಸ್ ಗೆ ಮನ್ನಣೆ ನೀಡದ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ(ಅ.15) ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಕರೆತರುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ಪೋಟೋ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಹಠಾತ್ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಕರೆದಿದ್ದರು. ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಮಾಡಲು ಯಾರು ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು ಎಂದು ಅಡ್ಡಪಡಿಸಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಗಲಾಟೆ ಮತ್ತು ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಟಿವಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವರದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅನಾಮಿಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಂದಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹಕ್ಕು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಮಿತಿ (KCPCR)ಗೆ ದೂರು ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಲು ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶಿವರಾಜೇಗೌಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಡ್ವರ್ಡ್ ಥಾಮಸ್ ಅವರ ತಂಡ ತೆರಳಿದೆ. ಅದರೆ, ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡದಿದ್ದಾಗ ರಾಮನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆ.19ರಂದು ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನಂತರ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಗುರ್ನೀರ್ ತೇಜ್ ಅವರು ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿ ರಾಮನಗರ ಉಪಾಯುಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹಕ್ಕು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು ತೆರಳಿದಾಗ ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ರಾಗಸುಧಾ(ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಪರ ವಕೀಲೆ ಎಂದು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ) ಎಂಬುವರು ಅಡ್ಡಿಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಎಸ್ ಪಿ ಅನುಪಮ್ ಅಗರವಾಲ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಲಿಖಿತ ದೂರು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು KCPCR ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಚೇರ್ಮನ್ ಉಮೇಶ್ ಆರಾಧ್ಯ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
