இவர் சாமியார் நித்யானந்தாவுடன் படுக்கை அறையில் இருப்பது போன்ற வீடியோ காட்சிகள் கடந்த சில ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு வெளியாகி பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியது.

இதைத்தொடர்ந்து இருவருக்கும் எதிராக போராட்டங்கள் நடத்தப்பட்டது. நித்யானந்தாவின் ஆசிரமங்கள் தாக்கப்பட்டன. கர்நாடக போலீசார் அவரை கைது செய்து சிறையில் அடைத்தனர். பின்னர் ஜாமீனில் வெளியே வந்தார்.

இதற்கிடையே தனக்கும், நித்யானந்தாவுக்கும் இடையே குரு– பக்தை உறவு மட்டுமே இருப்பதாகவும், சிலர் தேவையில்லாமல் அவதூறு கிளப்பி வருவதாகவும் ரஞ்சிதா கூறினார்.

கடந்த டிசம்பர் மாதம் சாமியார் நித்யானந்தாவின் பிறந்தநாளில் அவரிடம் முறைப்படி தீட்சிதை பெற்று ரஞ்சிதா சன்னியாசியானார்.

இந்த நிலையில் சாமியார் நித்யானந்தா, நடிகை ரஞ்சிதா உள்ளிட்ட சீடர்களுடன் திருப்பதியில் இன்று காலை சாமி கும்பிட்டார்.

அவர் தங்க நகைகளை கழுத்தில் அணிந்து இருந்தார். அங்குள்ள பக்தர்கள் அவரை கண்டு கொள்ளவில்லை. அவர்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதம் வழங்கிவிட்டு நித்யானந்தா அங்கிருந்து புறப்பட்டு சென்றார்.

NITHYANANDA'S MASTER PLAN EXPOSED?!

In this special program TV9 reveals Nithyananda's master plan to escape from facing the law - AVOID THE REAL MEDICAL TEST (FOR IMPOTENCE) ORDERED BY THE COURT in Karnataka, but at the same time claim innocence based on some documents submitted?!

Nithyananda has been claiming for a long time now that he is impotent, incapable of sex, etc, and therefore claiming innocence in the rape and sex abuse charges filed against him by the Karnataka CID in Nov 2010. He has even been producing documents, medical test reports, etc one after another, claiming that he is like a child of 6-10 years age! The latest step in this master plan is a document by a US doctor, claiming that Nithyananda is impotent and like a child.

But the question that people are asking is - IF NITHYANANDA IS REALLY IMPOTENT AND INNOCENT AS HE CLAIMS, THEN WHY IS HE AVOIDING THE TESTS ORDERED BY THE COURT FOR ALMOST LAST 3 YEARS? Why did he not cooperate with the CID when they had been summoning him for almost 2 years, forcing the Karnataka court to order him (1 year back) to subject himself to a Voice test and his medical test for impotence?

So what is his MASTER PLAN?! Is it to AVOID TRIAL AND ESCAPE THE LAW - by confusing the public and the judiciary with such documents, instead of direct methods to prove his innocence (i.e. subjecting himself to court approved tests by a court-appointed panel of experts)??

We would like to share with the readers a very relevant and interesting comment regarding this same topic, received from an anonymous reader. 

Overheard an interesting discussion/analysis about Nithyananda in a coffee shop recently. One can guess that the coffee shop friends are closely following the Nithyananda case, including the latest document published – a US doctor’s views on  Nithya’s sexual impotency! The key points of their discussion are below:

Nithya could have walked in and taken established,  simple, direct test to prove his impotency, in the last two years. Why has he not done that? It could have avoided the court ordering the test, but that also he has been avoiding for the last one year! Is it because of the additional voice test that can confirm his audio record, where he confessed and justified his intimacy with the woman in the video?  

The original video has been authenticated by FSL, the foremost forensic lab in India. In addition, an internationally renowned and India's topmost forensic expert Mr. Chandrasekaran of Bangalore has authenticated the original video in print media and through TV channel. If Nithya has no sex urge and is like a 6-10 year old boy, then what was he doing with an adult female in the video?

In the publicized report the Dr claims that the low blood count would have been developed over a period of time. Now again the question is how long back can the results be extrapolated, since the complaint of abuse is several years before the blood test? Interestingly, the friends even jokingly remarked – “God only knows whose blood was tested and labeled as Nithyananda’s!”

They referred to the testimony of another male victim, which they had seen in a leading kannada channel alleging Nithya’s sexual abuse of him for several years in the name of spiritual liberation. 

They also talked about many herbal treatment that can correct or impair the sexual hormonal balance. Also the side effects of many allopathic drugs and even cigarates, can reduce the blood counts. Interestingly impotency itself is not uniform, as there are many persons who are sexually provoked with a few partners but sterile with most others (and that may include their wives too). And in an interesting twist, it seems over indulgence or excess masturbations can lead to lowering of sex hormone counts!!

They referred to media report revealing that Nithya had been using condoms and the victim herself has procured it for him! This clever move would certainly insulate him from any risk of STD, in case the victim has any!

They parted saying that Nithya has all the money to spend on all indirect and complex tests (rather than simple direct test) and also seek foreign experts to testify as if they are the ultimate!

These youngsters seem to have analyzed the whole issue threadbare out of academic interest, but it is indeed very educative and relevant. 

Steps being taken against Adheenam on Nithyananda appointment'

Chennai,Oct 16, 2012 (PTI):

Tamil Nadu government today informed Madras High Court it is taking steps to act against Madurai Aadhenaam trustee under Section 59 of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act (HRCE Act) on appointment of self styled controversial godman Nithyananda as its next successor.

The Advocate General submitted that two persons cannot be head of the Mutt and appointment of Nithyananda as the next successor was in violation of the Act.
He also contended that petitions relating to this case cannot be considered as a PIL, since no fundamental right has been violated as well as not against government machinery.

He said the successor must be a disciple of the Mutt, be competent enough and must follow rituals and procedures being followed right from the days of Thirugnanasambandar.

"Any prudent person will not accept Nithyananda as the head of a religious institution, even to a secular institution," he said.
The department was taking steps to take action under section 59 of the HRCE Act, he said.
The matter has been posted for tomorrow.

Nithyananda is facing charges of rape and criminal intimidation levelled against him in 2010 after some TV channels telecast purported video footage of him in a compromising position with an actress.

Case against Nithyananda & TV channel

Aarthi Rao, one of the witnesses in controversial self-styled godman Nithyananda’s case, has filed a defamation case against Nithyananda, a private Kannada news channel and 16 others in Hennur police station.

 The police have registered the cases under IPC sections  pertaining to defamation and outraging the modesty of a woman.

Complaint against Nityananda

A former devotee of self-styled godman Nityananda has filed a complaint against him and 18 others charging them with outraging the modesty of a woman and defamation.

Nityananda had, in his defence, alleged that the victim, who is a prime witness in the case against him being investigated by the CID, was suffering from a sexually transmitted disease.

In an earlier statement to the CID, the victim had accused Nityananda of sexually exploiting her on the pretext of teaching her yoga.

Hennur police said that the complaint was registered on Sunday.

HC dismisses Nithyananda's application

Chennai: The Madras High Court today dismissed controversial ‘godman’ Nithyananda’s application to restrain certain people from making any public statements on a case filed before a court in Karnataka involving him.

Nithyananda sought to restrain his former disciples Lenin Karuppan, Aarthi Rao and her father Sethumadhavan from making statements, conducting any panel discussions or interviews, allegations, reports, clippings, visuals either by direct or indirect reference to him and his devotees in the case.

According to Nithyananda, a criminal case was registered against him before the cheif judicial magistrate court of Ramanagara in Karnataka, for which a charge sheet was filed in 2010, and Rao and Karruppan are the prosecution witnesses.
He submitted that Rao with a “malicious intention” started giving fake and defamation and visual touching upon the allegation in the charge sheet.

In his order, Justice K Chandru said, “The person who comes to the court seeking for equitable relief like an injunction must come with clean hands. He can’t make the court as a tool to prevent his adversaries or make them silent, when he can be active by posting in the social media.”

The respondents have stated that they have not given any particular interview and had only responded to questions posted in the website. ”While so the petitioner has posted 107 questions to Rao. There is nothing wrong in Rao replying to questions. The applicant can’t claim any right to privacy because he is in public domain and his right to privacy is very limited,” the judge said.

Nithyananda himself even after filing this suit have used the media both print and visual as well as social networking sites and posted several questions for Rao who answered and he has been liberally giving interviews.

“A person who comes to the court seeking relief also has to behave himself and not violate principle of liberty for which the relief is sought for, from this court,” the judge said.
“The charge sheet has been field in 2010 and since then the issue has been discussed threadbare in variosu media to the length and breadth of the country. There is nothing further to be discussed,” he said.
The respondents only stated that they have only responded to questions to defend themselves when such questions were asked and not with a view to defame the applicant, the judge said, dismissing Nithyananda’s application.

Danger of Cults is Growing - Part 1

As individuals and societies, we do not have a strong understanding of the phenomenon of cults, nor of the dangers cults pose. Thus, preventative action is rarely undertaken by appropriate establishments, such as our homes, cultural institutions, and governments. Lack of understanding or action persists despite highly publicized cult violence over the last four years, somber statistics of the cult problem, and the upcoming millennium which is predicted to spark more catastrophes. The following overview is provided to alert people to the growing danger of cults worldwide.

Recent Cult Tragedies in the News

2. 1994. More than 60 members of Europe's Solar Temple cult were induced to mass suicide in France and Switzerland.

3. 1995. Japan's Aum Shin Rikyo cult released sarin nerve gas in Tokyo subway killing ten and injuring thousands. Only recently in June 1998, testimonies in recent trials of Aum Shin Rikyo members revealed that for years prior to the 1995 attack, the group released lethal germ warfare in Japan, targeting the Japanese Legislature, the Imperial Palace, and the US military base at Yokosuka. The poisons were not detected at the times of their releases, and apparently caused no deaths. The attacks were intended to spark the apocalypse Aum Shin Rikyo postulates is coming. Meanwhile, about 200 current members met for a fundraising conference in late April, 1998, paying up to $1,500 each to attend.

4. 1997. 39 members of the Heaven's Gate cult including leader Marshall Applewhite ingested a combination of vodka and drugs at Applewhite's instruction, resulting in what the mother of victim called "one suicide and 38 murders." Members were convinced that the only way to survive Earth's being "recycled" in the year 2000 was to be picked up by a UFO flying in the wake of the Hale-Bopp comet.

5. 1997. Teenage members of a Vampire cult murdered the parents of one of its members. Self-proclaimed lead vampire received the death sentence.

6. 1998. Scientology has faced allegations of member suicides, deaths, and psychotic breaks; when Germany refused to recognize Scientology as a bona fide religious organization, contending the cult is a threat to democracy, the United States accused Germany of "intolerance" and caused international diplomatic tensions.

Nithyananda movie in telugu -Sivaji in Ayyare Movie Ready to Release

Ayyare, which has Rajendra Prasad in the lead role, is going to hit the screens on January 20. Rajendra Prasad is playing the role of a fake god man in this film. The movie has struggled a lot to get clearance from censor board a while ago as Swami Nithyananda has approached the court and alleged that the film was targeted at him.

The film is produced by Sudhakar Babu and Rangana Achchappa. According to the producers, the movie is a clean comedy entertainer with a social message. Sagar Chandra, a former associate of Ravi Babu has directed this movie on Preetam Productions banner.

My Experience with Nithyananda.

My name is Bawaani and I am living in Malaysia. I am working in one of the MNC Company here in IT field. I want to utilized this blog to share my experience when I was Nithyananda's Devotee since 2007.

After the Nithyananda's Sex Scandal, my life totally turned miserable and eventually I started to disrespect and disbelieve in spiritual. At one stage, I realize that I have to come out from all this. I started to read a lot of article about life about spiritual and Hinduism about Mukthi, meditation, Guru and etc. It gave me some kind of relaxation/peace and awareness about spiritual. One day I happened to listen to one of the video about Fake Guru by Swami Ji Balendu on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opkPNp_Azvc) The video was uploaded on youtube in March 2009 that's was before the Nithyananda's Sex scandal was published on TV. Swami Ji Balendu explanation gave me deep clarification and from than I read lot about Swami Ji Balendu and his charity which inspire me a lot and give me hope that not all GURU are fake. Gave me hope that there are still some real guru exist to lead spiritual seekers in their spiritual life. Here the story on how I got to know about Nithyananda and my bad experience as his ex-devotee.

I was introduced to Nithyananda and his mission in the year 2007. At that time I was impressed by his writings, talks and by the propaganda made by the members of his mission. I was very impressed on his mission and interested in involving myself in spirituality and meditation. As what Nithyananda had claimed, I also thought that his mission will greatly help our today’s society that needs improvement.

I first met Nithyananda in 2007 July in Delhi for Himalayas Trip organized by Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam. Many devotees from Malaysia attended this program which was lead by Nithyananda himself.

I’ve been told that Nithyananda is an avatar of Shiva and has the powerful healing energy by his disciples and devotees. They would share how their life had transformed after attending Nithyananda’s programs and by following his meditation techniques. Thus, I was further motivated to attend Nithyananda’s program as I also wanted to reduce my stress level and depression in my life.


My Impression about him is that; he as an Avatar of Lord Shiva. I got such impression because the stories shared by him and his senior disciples as if he is Avatar of Lord Shiva. The way he talks and replies to devotees’ questions will obviously resemble as though he is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. On top of it, marketing on his healing power builds a hope to the devotees.

However in my experience I’ve seen only certain people will get healed through Nithyananda’s spiritual healing. I’ve seen a lot of healing cases and not all will get the benefit out of it. When question about this, Nithyananda would explain that it’s all depends on the person’s karma that he is not getting healed. Isn’t it a master’s duty to reduce the karma of a devotee who surrendered totally to the master? Nithyananda always says that when a devotee surrendered totally to him, as a master he would cleanse the devotees’ karma.
Isn’t this conflict to what he said earlier?

There were a lot of stories that been shared with devotees like Nithyananda had a chance to hold Lord Krishna hand, Load Shiva provide him hospitality during his sickness in Himalayas, he also mentioned that he had seen appearance of Lord Saraswathi. All these stories will then strengthened by his disciples by giving impression that those stories are real and they them self has seen Nithyananda’s real power and goddess values. Nithyananda always says that he lived as what he preaches, he declare himself as sanyasi who dropped all the desires including sex desire and only living in his body just to create more Enlightened being. He also guaranteed to give enlightenments for all his disciples and that’s the mission it seems he took when he came to this planet. He also promised that whoever attends his NSP program, will have painless death since Nithyananda’s presence will be by them.

I’ve rendered my service to the Nithyananda mission as a volunteer for 2 years. I’ve left my family and joint as an Ashramite in Malaysia Ashram for 1 year. During this period of time, I was involved and responsible to conduct and organize many ashram activities. I have spent all my time, strength, expertise for Nithyananda Mission. My intention joining as ashramite is to spread his mission and to give good spiritual message to our society.


I’ve also involve my family members to attend his program and encourage them to provide service for his mission. Even till now, my entire families are still in his path, and it’s very challenging for me to make them understand on the truth about this Nithyananda Sex Scandal. I always keep them updated on the truth information. But, most of the time I’ve been ignored by my own family members but still I feel that it is my responsible to let them know the truth his cult.



I felt very much disappointed and betrayed after knowing about the truth of Nithyananda.
What happened to the examples that he would say to sanyasis as to follow his own life pathway to attain enlightenment? Does he mean that having sex as a sanyasi to a married woman is a way to attain enlightenment? Isn’t this a disgraceful to the whole sanyasam people and Hinduism?

I cried many days, because I’ve been cheated all this while., I felt that I’ve wasted my life for some untruthful and a cheat like Nithyananda who hide behind the saffron., People talks as thought I am also one of the victims of this scandal. It was so embarrassing for me and for my family. Why am I going through this humiliation when I trusted Nithyananda and surrendered my life to his mission? I am wondering; Is this the result for sacrificing our life? Where is our Hindu Dharma? Is this what we get from a Spiritual Master? Who is responsible to reshuffle and to bring out the truth to the world? When the truth will reveal? I have so many questions running in my mind all day. It’s ruining my life and I got depressed. I will get upset by anything that reminds me of Nithyananda. I selected meditation path to reduce my stress level but unfortunately it’s even put me on worst stress now.

Anything that causing destroys to our trust in Hindu Dharma and God should be immediately stopped by the relevant organization such as police and government. This is not only about Hindu Dharma, but its involving people feelings and believe, and I sincerely seeking the government and police to act on matter.

(நித்யானந்தாவின் வங்கிக் கணக்கு பற்றிய நயா பைசா சுத்தமான விவரத்தை ஆதாரத்துடன் காண்க) மலைக்க வைக்கும் இந்த 32 கோடியே சொச்ச ரூபாயை அவர் அமெரிக்காவிலுள்ள ஆசிரமத்தின் கணக்கிலிருந்து பிடதியில் உள்ள தன் பெயரிலான கணக்கிற்குக் கொண்டு வந் துள்ளார். ஆசிரமத்தின் வளர்ச்சிக்காக வும் ஆன்மீக சேவைக்காகவும் நிதி திரட்டுகிறேன் என்று இந்தியாவில் உள்ள நடுத்தரவர்க்கத்தின் உயர் சம் பளக்காரர்கள், பெரிய தொழிலதிபர்கள், திரையுலகைச் சார்ந்தவர்கள் எனப் பலரிடமும் காணிக்கை பெறுவதுடன், அமெரிக்காவில் வாழும் இந்தியர்களிட மும், மனஅமைதிக்காக ஆன்மீகத்தை நாடும் அமெரிக்கர்களிடமும் மில்லியன் களில் டாலரையும் அவர்களுக்கு சொந்தமான இடங்களையும் ஆசி ரமத்திற்கென்று வாங்கி, அதனைத் தன் பெயரில் மாற்றிக்கொள்வதுதான் நித்யா னந்தாவின் வழக்கம் என்கிறார்கள் அமெரிக்காவில் அவரிடம் ஏமாந்த பக்தர்கள். ஆன்மிகப் பணிகளுக்கான நிதியை வசூலிக்கும் நித்யானந்தா பவுன்டேஷன் என்ற லாபநோக்கில்லாத நிறுவனத்தி லிருந்து, நித்யானந்தா எக்ஸ்போர்ட் அண்ட் இம்ப்போர்ட் என்ற நிறுவனத் திற்கு பணம் மாற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த ஏற்றுமதி-இறக்குமதி நிறுவனத்தை உருவாக்கி அதனை நிர்வகித்து வருபவர் நித்யானந்தாவின் சகோதரர் ஆவார். இந்த நிறுவனம் மூலமாக சிலைகளை ஏற்றுமதி செய்வது -விற்பனை செய்வது போன்ற வேலைகள் நடந்துள்ளன. உதாரணத்திற்கு, 2010 ஏப்ரல் 17 அன்று நித்யானந்தா தியானபீடம் ஆலயம் மற்றும் கலாச்சார மையம் என்ற நிறுவனத்திற்கு நித்யானந்தா ஏற்றுமதி-இறக்குமதி என்ற நிறுவனத்தின் சார்பில் 5 லட்சத்து 50ஆயிரத்து 386.82 டாலருக்கு சிலைகள் வழங்கப்பட்டதாக இன்வாய்ஸ் போடப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆனால், அந்த சிலைகளின் மொத்த மதிப்பு 1 லட்சம் டாலரைக்கூடத் தாண்டாது என்று நித்யானந்தா பவுண்டேஷன் மீதும் மா நித்ய சதானந்தா மற்றும் சிவா வல்லபஹனேனி ஆகியோர் மீதும் அமெரிக்காவின் கலிபோர்னியா மாநில உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில் (சுப்பீரியர் கோர்ட்) பொபட்லால் கே.சாவ்லா என்பவர் தொடர்ந்துள்ள வழக்கில் தெரிவித் துள்ளார். (பொபட்லால் உள் ளிட்டவர்களும் நிதியளித்துள்ளனர்) பவுண் டேஷன் பெயரில் நிதியைத் திரட்டினாலும், பிடதியில் கட்டப்பட்ட கட்டடம் நித்யா னந்தாவின் சொந்தப் பெயரில் கட்டப் பட்டுள்ளது என்பதும் பொபட்லாலின் குற்றச்சாட்டுகளின் முக்கியமானதாகும். ஆன்மீக விழாக்களில் மட்டுமே பங்குபெறு வதாக அனுமதி பெற்று அமெரிக்காவுக்கு வந்த நித்யானந்தா அங்கு மிகப்பெரிய அளவில் நிதி திரட்டியது பற்றியும் பொபட்லால் வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார். பொய்யானத் தகவலைக்கூறி அனுமதி பெற்ற நித்யானந்தா, அமெரிக்காவில் கொடுத்த சில டாக்குமெண்ட்டுகளில் தன்னுடைய பிறந்த தேதி 1.1.1978 என்று கொடுத்துள்ளார். அவருடைய பாஸ் போர்ட்டிலோ நித்யானந்தாவின் பிறந்ததேதி 13.3.1977 என்று பதிவாகியுள்ளது. தவறான ஆவணங்கள், பொய்யான தகவல்கள் ஆகியவற்றைக் கூறி அமெரிக்காவில் ஆன்மீக நிகழ்ச்சிகள் என்ற பெயரில் பெருமளவில் நிதி திரட்டிய நித்யா னந்தா அவற்றை அங்கேயே முதலீடு செய்வதற்காக 2007 நவம்பர் 26-ல் நித்யானந்தா கேபிட்டல் மேனேஜ்மெண்ட் இன்க் என்ற நிறுவனத்தையும், அதுபோல நித்யானந்தா இன்வெஸ்ட்மெண்ட் ஃபண்ட் என்ற நிறுவனத்தையும் 2008 ஏப்ரல் 8-ல் நித்யா அட்வைசர்ஸ் என்ற நிறுவனத்தையும் ஆரம்பித்திருக்கிறார். ஆசிரமத்தில் உறுப்பினராகிறவர்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப்படும் ஒப்பந்தப் பத்திரத்தில், செக்ஸ் மற்றும் பாலியல் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட பொருட்கள் வழங்குவதும் ஆன்மீகச் செயல்பாட்டில் அடக்கம் என்று எழுதப்பட்டிருந்ததைப் பார்த்து அதிர்ச்சியடைந்ததாகவும் பொபட்லால் தனது மனுவில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். ஆன்மிகத்தின் பெயரால் நிறுவனம் நடத்துவதாகக் காட்டிக்கொண்டு, அதற்கு வரும் அபரிமிதமான நிதிக்கு வரிவிலக்கும் பெற்று, அந்த நிதியை இன்வெஸ்ட்மெண்ட்ஸ், எக்ஸ்போர்ட் அண்ட் இம்போர்ட், அட்வைசர்ஸ், கன்சல்டண்ட் என்று லாபம் தரும் நிறுவனங்களுக்கும் தனது சொந்த பெயரிலான அக்கவுண்ட்டுக்கும் மாற்றி, இந்திய-அமெரிக்க அரசாங்கத்தை ஏமாற்றி பல கோடிகளைக் குவித்துள்ளார் நித்யானந்தா. இவை போக ஷேர் மார்க்கெட்டிலும் முதலீடு செய்யப் பட்டுள்ளது. சவுதி அரேபியா உள்ளிட்ட நாடுகளிலும் வியாபாரத் தொடர்பு உள்ளது. அன்னா ஹசாரே போன்றவர்கள் வலியுறுத்தும் ஜன்லோக்பால் சட்டத்தில்கூட கண்டறிய முடியாத ஊழல் களை செய்து, அதன் மூலம் கிடைத்துள்ள பல கோடிகளை கையில் வைத்துக்கொண்டு சட்டத்தின் சந்து பொந்துகளில் புகுந்து மிரட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார் நித்யானந்தா. பணம் பாதாளம் மட்டும் பாயும் என்று அவரது தரப்பு ஆட்டம் போட்டு வருகிறது. நீதி நிதானமாக எல்லாவற்றையும் கவனித்துக்கொண்டுதான் இருக்கிறது. பாதாளத்தில் நுழைந்தாலும் ஆகாயத்தில் புகுந்தாலும் அக்கிரமக்காரர்களை நிச்சயம் தண்டித்தே தீருவான் நீதிதேவன். http://www.nakkheeran.in/

RANJITHA; COMPLAINT PROCEEDINGS STAYED

Proceedings stayed
The High Court on Thursday stayed further court proceedings against Lenin Karuppan, the complainant in the sex scandal involving self-styled godman Nithyananda.

A lower court in Ramanagara had taken cognisance of offence against Lenin and others, based on the private compliant filed by actor Ranjitha, accusing the former car driver of Nithyananda, and his two associates, of extortion and acts intended to insult the modesty of women.

The three accused, as per the private compliant by the actor, are charged under the Section 354, 384, 506 and 509 of the IPC. Lenin had approached the high court challenging the action of the Ramanagara court.
