நித்யானந்தா ஆஸ்ரமத்தில் இருந்த சுவாமி சிலைகள் மற்றும் லிங்கங்கள் பீடங்களிலிருந்து அகற்றி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.  தமிழக அரசு ஆஸ்ரமத்தை கையகப்படுத்தும் முயற்சியை முறியடிக்கவே இந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாகத் தெரிகிறது.
 திருவண்ணாமலை, கிரிவலப் பாதையில் நித்யானந்தா ஆஸ்ரமம் இயங்கி வருகிறது. இங்கு, நித்யானந்தேஸ்வரர்-நித்யானந்தேஸ்வரி சுவாமி சிலைகளுடன், 1008 லிங்கங்கள் வைக்கப்பட்டு பூஜிக்கப்பட்டு வந்தன.
கையகப்படுத்த நடவடிக்கை: இந்நிலையில், இந்து சமய அறநிலையத்துறை சார்பில் அண்மையில் நித்யானந்தா ஆஸ்ரமத்துக்கு நோட்டீஸ் ஒன்று அனுப்பப்பட்டது. சுவாமி  சிலைகள் வைத்து வழிபாடு நடத்தும் இடமாக இருப்பதால், இதை ஏன் இந்து சமய அறநிலையத்துறை கையகப்படுத்தக் கூடாது என்றும், இதற்கான விளக்கத்தை 15 நாள்களுக்குள் அளிக்குமாறும் அந்த நோட்டீஸில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டு இருந்ததாக, இந்து சமய அறநிலையத்துறை அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்தனர்.
 இந்நிலையில், நித்யானந்தா ஆஸ்ரமம் அனைத்து மதத்தினரும் வழிபடும் பொது இடம்.
எனவே, இந்து சமய அறநிலயைத்துறையின் முயற்சிக்குத் தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று ஆஸ்ரமம் சார்பில் சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில் வழக்குத் தொடுக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த வழக்கின் விசாரணை இப்போது நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.

சுவாமி சிலைகள் திடீர் அகற்றம்: இதற்கிடையே, ஆஸ்ரமத்தில் இருந்த அனைத்து சிலைகளும் திங்கள்கிழமை இரவோடு, இரவாக அகற்றி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அத்துடன், ஆஸ்மரத்துக்கு வெளியே "இது தனியாருக்குச் சொந்தமான இடம். அனுமதி பெற்று உள்ளே வரவும்' என்ற தகவல் பலகையும் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
 சிலைகள் வைக்கப்பட்டிருப்பதால்தான் இந்து சமய அறநிலையத்துறை இவ்விடத்தை கோயிலாக கணக்கிட்டு, ஆஸ்ரமத்தை கையகப்படுத்த முயற்சி மேற்கொள்கிறது. இந்த நடவடிக்கையை முறியடிக்கவே இந்த சிலைகள் அகற்றம் என கூறப்படுகிறது.
ஆஸ்ரமம் விளக்கம்: இதற்கிடையே, செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை மாலை ஆஸ்ரமம் சார்பில் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில், திருவண்ணாமலை நித்யானந்தா தியான பீட ஆஸ்ரமத்தில், ஒரு சர்வமத தியான மையமும், இவ்வுலகத்தில் உள்ள அனைத்து மதங்களையும் சார்ந்த ஒரு ஆன்மிக பிரபஞ்சவியல் பூங்காவும் அமைக்க திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
 இதற்கான கட்டுமானப் பணிகள் இப்போது நடைபெற்றுக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. இப்பணிகளுக்காக ஆஸ்ரமத்தில் இருந்த 1008 லிங்கங்கள் நகர்த்தி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

Not any more. With the court’s go-ahead, the CID has chosen July 30 to put the controversial godman through a battery of tests at Victoria Hospital to prove (or disprove) that he is capable of indulging in sex, a CID source said. The doctors will have no restrictions and will be allowed to conduct any test they feel necessary on Nithyananda, another CID source said. “A notice has already been served to Nithyananda to be present on the morning of July 30 at the CID headquarters, from where he will be taken to Victoria Hospital under tight security. If he fails to turn up for the tests, the CID will have no option but to move court to cancel his bail. So, we are sure that he will turn up this time,” the source added. What are the tests a man has to go through to prove he’s impotent? Considering the sensitivity of the case, details pertaining to the panel of doctors who will be carrying out the tests on Nithyananda are kept highly confidential to check any attempts to influence them, sources said. Normally, along with the blood samples, the bone marrow is also tested to assess the hormone levels. 

But in Nithyananda’s case, it could go beyond this and several tests will be conducted over three-four days. These include: Blood test, supplemented with semen analysis, thyroid analysis and the use of erectionstimulating drugs. Nithyananda will first undergo a physical examination which will tell doctors if his sexual organs have been operated on. “Then, they will look at the possibility of erectile dysfunction. Then comes the semen analysis in which semen motility, semen count and semen appearances are tested. The sperm count and quality will throw light on whether the person is impotent. If he meets minimal standards in each of these tests, he will be considered potent,” Dr K Shastri, a city-based physician said. An analysis of the thyroid – a major regulatory hormone – will also throw light on his infertility. “Injecting erection-stimulating drugs is another important way to test if one is potent. An impotent person will never develop an erection even if he is injected with such drugs,” Dr CAshwath, a physician, said. Testosterone, FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone), LH (luteinizing hormone) are some other tests to determine impotence. The results of these tests will be produced in court and will determine the course of investigation into the case filed against him by onetime confidant Lenin Karuppan. “If the tests do not prove his impotence, Nithyananda will be in trouble,” another source added.

Bangalore, July 18: Self-styled godman Swami Nithyananda will undergo potency test on July 30, Crime Branch-CID sources said here.
In 2010, Swami Nithyananda had claimed that he was impotent and unable to perform sexual intercourse with any female.

Nithyananda’s former driver Karuppan had brought out an alleged sex CD of the swami with a Tamil female actor.





Not sure whther the godman is telling the truth or just trying to escape rape charges, the CB-CID has decided to subject him to medical tests.

The state police had  written to the Victoria Hospital top brass to constitute a medical board to examine him.

“We do not want one doctor testing him and later Nithyananda countering it", said a police official.

Meanwhile, the  Ramanagaram court, before which Nithyananda was produced, granted the CID the go-ahead for conducting the medical test.

It also gave the nod for a voice test to know if his voice matched with that in the audio samples submitted by Nithyananda’s detractors.

Nithyananda had submitted a medical report by a private doctor which claims he is impotent.

Meanwhile, the CID has decided not to arrest Nithyananda for conducting these tests. Once the board is formed, they will send him a notice asking him to voluntarily appear for the tests.

“If he fails, then the question of arresting him will arise,” sources said.

Actress Ranjitha, who became notoriously famous a few months back in the Nithyananda case remained in Kerala for some time immediately after the scandal broke out.

The Godman, who too went into hiding, was arrested from his hide-out in Shimla from a disciple’s house. The Karnataka Crime Branch police, which took Nithyananda into custody, sent many summons to Ranjitha to present herself physically before them to enable them to address a few questions to her on the ‘Nithyananda’ video-tape issue. Ranjitha, however, hadn’t turned up before them as on date.

Experts say that legally, Ranjitha can’t be taken into custody even if it is categorically proved that she’s the one who starred in the video as Indian law doesn’t bar a man and a woman from having ‘consensual sex’ with each other. The videos were allegedly shot by Lenin Karuppan, a former disciple of Nityananda, brought the issue into the limelight.

Reports say that she landed up in Chennai last week and is planning to pen down all her experiences in the form of a book. Her whereabouts, though, in Chennai are not known. Unconfirmed reports say that she had sneaked to the U.S. via Chennai in order not to avoid ‘questioning’ by the crime branch of the Karnataka Police.

During her recent interview to a popular English daily, she had stated that she wanted to write her experiences (filmy and otherwise) in the form of a book which would also feature what she wanted to say about her encounter with Nithyananda. Ranjitha reportedly met her advocate during her brief stay in Chennai and discussed the pros and cons of appearing before the Karnataka Police.

Upset at not being able to make Ranjitha appear before it, the Karnataka police are said to be contemplating securing an ‘arrest warrant’ against the actress.

Self-styled godman Nityananda is back at his ashram on the outskirts of Bangalore. The swami is out on bail after scandalous sex videos put him in the dock.

Nityanada and his disciples have now planned what they call "spiritual soul cleansing of negativities', involving yoga and performing havan.

The court had released him on bail on the condition that he wouldn't teach or preach.

He was released on Saturday after spending 53 days in jail on rape and other criminal charges - a day after Karnataka High Court granted him bail.

Nityananda and his close aide Gopala Reddy alias Bhakta Nityananda, who also had been enlarged on bail, were released after they complied with conditions slapped for their release by the High Court on Friday.

Counsels for Nityananda submitted the required documents before District Magistrate Pushpavathi at her residence as Saturday being a government holiday on account of second Saturday.
