Self-Styled God Man Nithyananda Appears Before Court

BENGALURU:Controversial godman Nithyananda on Monday appeared before the Ramanagaram District Sessions Court in connection with his potency test.

After CID police submitted a medical report on the test, the court had summoned him to appear before it. Around 10.30 am, the godman and five of his followers appeared before the magistrate. Later, the court adjourned the hearing to January 27. The court also asked his counsel to file objections to the arguments made by the public prosecutor and directed Nithyananda to appear again on Feb 11.

சர்ச்சைக்குரிய சாமியார் நித்யானந்தா ஆண்மை உள்ளவர் என கர்நாடக சிஐடி போலீஸார் ராம்நகர் மாவட்ட அமர்வு நீதிமன்றத்தில் நேற்று அறிக்கையை தாக்கல் செய்துள்ளனர்.

கடந்த 2012-ம் ஆண்டு நித் யானந்தா மீது அவரது முன்னாள் சிஷ்யை ஆர்த்தி ராவ் பாலியல் பலாத்கார புகார் தெரிவித்தார். ஆனால் நித்யானந்தா தனக்கு ஆண்மை இல்லை எனக் கூறி குற்றச்சாட்டை மறுத்தார். இது தொடர்பாக வழக்கு பதிவு செய்த கர்நாடக சிஐடி போலீஸார், ராம்நகர் மாவட்ட அமர்வு நீதிமன்றத்தில் வழக்கு தொடுத்தனர்.

இவ்வழக்கில் கடந்த செப் டம்பர் 8-ம் தேதி பெங்களூரு விக்டோரியா மருத்துவமனையில் நித்யானந்தாவுக்கு ஆண்மை பரி சோதனை நடத்தப்பட்டது. இந்நிலையில் நித்யானந்தா மீதான பாலியல் பலாத்கார வழக்கு கர்நாடக மாநிலம் ராம்நகர் மாவட்ட அமர்வு நீதிமன்றத்தில் நீதிபதி மஞ்சுளா முன்னிலையில் நேற்று விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது. நித்யானந்தாவும் சீடர்களும் நீதிமன்றத்துக்கு வந்தனர்.

27-ம் தேதிக்கு ஒத்திவைப்பு

அப்போது கர்நாடக சிஐடி போலீஸார் தரப்பில், நித்யானந் தாவின் ஆண்மை பரிசோதனை அறிக்கை சீல் வைக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது. அதைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்ட நீதிபதி மஞ்சுளா, “இந்த வழக்கில் அனைத்து விசாரணையும் முடிந்துவிட்டது. குற்றம்சாட்டப்பட்டவர் தரப்பு இறுதி வாதத்தை வரும் 27ம் தேதி தொடங்குங்கள். குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவர் வரும் பிப்ரவரி 11-ம் தேதி நீதிமன்றத்தில் நேரில் ஆஜராக வேண்டும்” என உத்திரவிட்டு, வழக்கை ஒத்தி வைத்தார்.

ஆண்மை பரிசோதனை அறிக்கை குறித்து கர்நாடக சிஐடி போலீஸாரிடம் விசாரித்தபோது, “நித்யானந்தாவுக்கு 37 வயதான ஆணுக்கு இயல்பாக இருக்கக்கூடிய அனைத்து உடல் வளர்ச்சியும் இருக்கிறது. அவரால் உடல் ரீதியான பாலுறவில் ஈடுபட முடியும். அதனால் அவருக்கு ஆண்மை உள்ளவர் என மருத்துவர் குழு சான்று அளித் துள்ளது” என்றனர்.

Body of Nithyananda disciple exhumed, viscera taken to Bengaluru

TRICHY: The body of a 24-year-old woman who died under mysterious circumstances at the Nityananda ashram in Bidadi, Karnataka, was exhumed from the graveyard in Navalurkuttapattu in Trichy on Wednesday and the viscera was being taken to Bengaluru for subsequent process after the re-postmortem to ascertain the cause of her death. 

The body of A Sangeetha, 24 ,was exhumed from a cemetery in her village Navalurkuttapattu on the Trichy -Dindigul Road in the presence of a team of officials from the revenue department, the Trichy police and a three-member police team from Bengaluru. The process commenced in the afternoon after the files were cleared by the Trichy district administration on Tuesday. Her father, Arjunan turned emotional while identifying the spot where the body of his daughter was buried. 

The postmortem was done at a secluded place on the premises of the graveyard by a team of two doctors from KAP Viswanathan Government Medical College. A large number of villagers gathered in and around the graveyard to witness the second postmortem of the controversial death. 

The police team led by sub-inspector of police (SI), the Bidadi police station in Bengaluru who camped in Trichy from Tuesday got the viscera taken out from the body. The mortal remains of the body was then buried again. The police team left Trichy for Bengaluru by evening on Wednesday with the viscera. 

"The exhumation and re-postmortem were done perfectly. We are on the way to Bengaluru with the viscera to submit it to the forensic science lab there to ascertain the cause of death," SI B N Lohith told TOI. 

Sangeetha, a disciple of Nityananda died under mysterious circumstances on December 28, 2014. The ashram claimed she died of cardiac arrest. 

However, her mother grew suspicious over the nature of her death and complained to the Bengaluru police to conduct a re-postmortem.

A re-postmortem was conducted here on Wednesday on the body of A. Sangeetha (24) of Tiruchi who died under mysterious circumstances at the Nityananda Dhyanapeetam in Bidadi near Bengaluru recently.

The body was exhumed from the cremation ground at Navalur Kuttapattu in the city’s outskirts in the presence of Sangeetha’s father, a police team from Karnataka, revenue officials and local police.

The exhumation and re-post mortem was done as demanded by parents of Sangeetha who suspected foul play in their daughter’s death, although the ashram authorities had claimed that the woman had died of cardiac arrest.

The parents of Sangeetha had petitioned the Superintendent of Police of Ramanagaram district in Karnataka in this regard a few days ago. A police team from Karnataka arrived at Tiruchi on Tuesday and made a formal request for exhuming the body. Upon getting approval from the district authorities, the body was exhumed on Wednesday afternoon from the cremation ground where a re-postmortem was done by two doctors of the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital.

The exercise went on for over an hour, police sources said, adding that the viscera samples were taken from the body and sent for laboratory tests. Sangeetha who had been working in the ashram for four years died a few days ago.

பெங்களூரில் நித்யானந்தா ஆசிரமத்தில் இறந்த திருச்சி பெண்ணின் உடல் மறு பிரேத பரிசோதனைக்காக இன்று(புதன்கிழமை)தோண்டியெடுக்கப்படுகிறது.

திருச்சி நவலூர் குட்டபட்டு மேலத்தெருவைச் சேர்ந்தவர் அர்ஜுனன்-ஜான்சிராணி. இவர்களது மகள் சங்கீதா (24). கடந்த 4 ஆண்டுகளாக பெங்களுரு நித்யானந்தா ஆசிரமத்தில் தங்கி பணியாற்றி வந்தார்.

இந்நிலையில் கடந்த மாதம் 28-ம் தேதி ஆசிரமத்தில் இருந்து சங்கீதாவின் தாய் ஜான்சிராணிக்கு நித்தியானந்த ஆசிரமத்திலிருந்து அழைப்பு வந்தது. அப்போது சங்கீதா உடல்நிலை சரியில்லாமல் மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும், அதனால் உடனே பெங்களூரு வரவும் என்று கூறியுள்ளனர்.

இதையடுத்து சங்கீதாவின் பெற்றோர் பெங்களூரு புறப்பட்டுச் சென்றனர். ஓசூர் அருகே அவர்கள் சென்ற போது காரை நிறுத்திய ஆசிரமவாசிகளான பிரானாந்தா மகராஜ் மற்றும் சிலர் சங்கீதாவை தனியார் மருத்துவமனைக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லும் வழியிலேயே உயிரிழந்துவிட்டார் என்று கூறியுள்ளனர். அதன்பின் அவரது உடல் அங்குள்ள அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் பிரேத பரிசோதனை செய்யப்பட்ட பிறகு பெற்றோரிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டது.

இந்நிலையில் கடந்த 1-ம் தேதி சங்கீதாவின் பெற்றோர் திருச்சி ராம்ஜிநகர் காவல்நிலையத்தில் சங்கீதாவின் சாவில் மர்மம் இருப்பதாக கூறி புகார் அளித்தனர். ஆனால் போலீஸôர், நடந்த சம்பவம் பெங்களூரில் நடந்திருப்பதால் புகாரை வாங்க மறுத்து திருப்பி அனுப்பினர்.

பின்னர் பெங்களூரு சென்ற அர்ஜுனன் தனது மகள் சாவில் மர்மம் இருப்பதாக அங்குள்ள காவல் நிலையத்தில் புகார் அளித்துள்ளார். புகாரின் பேரில் செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை காலை திருச்சி வந்த பெங்களூரு போலீஸôர்,சங்கீதாவின் சடலத்தை தோண்டி மீண்டும் மறு பிரேத பரிசோதனை செய்வது குறித்து  மாவட்ட காவல் கண்காணிப்பாளர் ராஜேஸ்வரி,திருச்சி கோட்டாட்சியர்,ராம்ஜிநகர் போலீஸôர் ஆகியோரிடம் ஆலோசனை நடத்தினர்.

இதையடுத்து சங்கீதாவின் பெற்றோர் பெங்களூர் விரைந்து சென்றனர். அங்கு பிரேத பரிசோதனை முடிந்த பின் மகளின் உடலை பெற்று திருச்சிக்கு கொண்டு வந்து அடக்கம் செய்தனர். இந்த நிலையில் மகளின் சாவில் சந்தேகம் இருப்பதாக ராம்ஜிநகர் போலீஸ் நிலையத்தில் சங்கீதாவின் தாய் ஜான்சிராணி புகார் செய்தார். ஆனால் போலீசார் புகாரை வாங்க மறுத்தனர். மேலும் சம்பவம் நடந்த இடம் பெங்களூரு என்பதால் அங்கு சென்று புகார் அளிக்க கூறினர். 

இதைதொடர்ந்து கர்நாடக மாநிலம் ராமநகர் டவுனில் உள்ள போலீஸ் சூப்பிரண்டு அலுவலகத்திற்கு கடந்த 3-ந் தேதி ஜான்சிராணி சென்றார். அங்கு போலீஸ் சூப்பிரண்டு சந்திரகுப்தாவை சந்தித்து ஒரு மனு கொடுத்தார். அதில் நித்யானந்தா சாமியார் மடத்தில் தங்கியிருந்த தனது மகள் சங்கீதா டிசம்பர் மாதம் 28-ந் தேதி இறந்ததாகவும், அவரது சாவில் சந்தேகம் இருப்பதாகவும், மறு பிரேத பரிசோதனை செய்து உரிய விசாரணை நடத்தி நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்றும் கூறியிருந்தார்.

இதையடுத்து கர்நாடக மாநிலம் ராமநகர் பிடுவி போலீசார் வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்தனர். மேலும் அந்த போலீஸ் நிலையத்தில் பணியாற்றும் போலீசார் நேற்று திருச்சி வந்தனர். மாவட்ட போலீஸ் சூப்பிரண்டு அலுவலகத்தில் போலீஸ் அதிகாரிகளை சந்தித்து சங்கீதாவின் உடலை தோண்டி எடுத்து மீண்டும் பிரேத பரிசோதனை செய்வது குறித்த தகவல் தெரிவித்தனர். 

அதன்பின் நவலூர் குட்டப்பட்டு சென்று சங்கீதாவின் பெற்றோர் மற்றும் உறவினர்களிடம் கர்நாடக மாநில போலீசார் விசாரணை நடத்தினர். நவலூர் குட்டப்பட்டுவில் சங்கீதா உடல் புதைக்கப்பட்டு 5 நாட்களுக்கு மேல் ஆகிவிட்டதால் அவரது உடல் மிகவும் அழுகி இருக்கும். 

இதனால் இன்று (புதன்கிழமை) அதிகாலை சங்கீதாவின் உடலை தோண்டி எடுத்து அதே இடத்தில் மீண்டும் பரிசோதனை செய்ய போலீசார் முடிவு செய்துள்ளனர். இதற்காக மருத்துவ குழுவினர் இன்று காலை நவலூர் குட்டப்பட்டு செல்கின்றனர். பிரேத பரிசோதனை அறிக்கை வந்த பின்னரே சங்கீதா எப்படி இறந்தார்? என தெரியவரும் என போலீசார் தெரிவித்தனர்.

The Tiruchi police will conduct a second post-mortem on the mortal remains of the Sangeetha, a sanyasin attached with Nithyananda’s Dhyanapeetam in Bidadi. Although the first post-mortem was conducted by a private hospital in Bengaluru, Jhansi Rani, Sangeetha’s mother has said that her daughter died under mysterious circumstances and not due to a cardiac arrest as being alleged by the inmates of Dhyanapeetam.

Jhansi Rani, the mother of Sangeeta, alleged that Nityananda and his associates Hamsananda and Ranjita were behind Sangeetha's death. In a letter to the superintendent of police, Ramanagaram, and DGP of Karnataka police, Jhansi Rani, 51, mother of Sangeetha, has demanded that her daughter's body be exhumed. Rani has sought a fresh post mortem at a neutral hospital and a probe undertaken based on the report.

The parents of a girl who died in Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam ashram in Bidadi on the outskirts of Bengaluru, have said they suspected foul play in death of their daughter.

Sangeetha Arjunan (24) died on the ashram premises on December 28 and the ashram officials claimed she died of a heart attack. Her parents however, have said that Sangeetha did not have any heart condition and that they suspected foul play.

The girl hails from Tiruchi in Tamil Nadu and her parents had initially approached the police there. They have since met with the Ramnagara district Superintendent, under whose jurisdiction Bidadai falls.

In her complaint to the Ramnagara police, the girl’s mother Jansi Rani has said that they suspected that Sangeetha’s death was unnatural as she did not suffer from any heart ailment, and also said that Sangeetha’s and her own signatures had been taken on blank papers.

In her complaint Jansi Rani also spoke about alleged assaults and beatings her daughter suffered at the ashram at the hands of some of the people there. She said that in mid 2013, her daughter called her up from the ashram: “After reaching home, she showed me her legs, she had been beaten very badly below her waist & on her legs. I was shocked to see several bruises and injury marks.”

She also said that the ashram officials had tried to restrict her movement on several occasion and that one person “locked up all of Sangeetha’s certificates in a cupboard and when she wanted to leave, he refused to return them to her. Another boy called Saravanan from Thanjavur tried to help sangeetha by breaking open the cupboard and getting the certificates for her. But just because he helped her, Hamsanada and other ashramites punished him also. They beat him up badly and locked him up in a room for a few days. Finally his family and relatives went to Bidadi, got him released & took him away from ashram.”

She further said: “After I left Sangeetha in the ashram, I went 3 times within 2 month to see her and to tell her to come home, but they didn’t let me meet her alone. I was only allowed to meet her along with other sanyasis in the ashram, and they kept telling me she has not finished her work, she can leave after finishing all the work assigned to her. The 3rd time when I went, they brought her to meet me, but she was in a terrible condition, she could not even walk a single step. I could not bear to watch the sight. Some 30 ashram people came with her, maybe they wanted to make sure she will not tell me anything.”

“They told me promise on Kalabairava that I or any of my relatives will not give any report against Swami Nithyananda to anyone. I promised."

“(sangeetha called from ashram) She said, if I continue to say wrong things about swami - they were telling her to say this – then she will file case against me! I said okay, go ahead file a case against me. Immediately after I said that, they cut the phone line. That was the last time I talked to Sangeetha. After that they did not even let me talk one word to her.”

Jansi also alleged that certain people had asked her to sign blank papers if she wanted her daughter’s body back, and that she could not read either Kannada or English.

திருச்சி: பிடதி நித்தியானந்தா ஆசிரமத்தில் உயிரிழந்த சங்கீதாவின் தந்தை, ‘தனது மகளின் மரணத்தில் சந்தேகம் இருப்பதாக' திருச்சி போலீசில் புகார் அளித்துள்ளார். திருச்சி மாவட்டம், திண்டுக்கல் சாலை நாவலூர் குட்டப்பட்டு கிராமத்தை சேர்ந்த அர்ஜுனன் என்பவரது மகள் சங்கீதா (24). பி.சி.ஏ. படித்துள்ள சங்கீதா, நான்கு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் கர்நாடக மாநிலம், பிடதியில் உள்ள நித்யானந்தா ஆசிரமத்தில் துறவி பயிற்சிக்கு சேர்ந்தார். 

இந்நிலையில், கடந்த 28ம் தேதி ஆசிரம வளாகத்தில் மர்மமான முறையில் உயிரிழந்தார் சங்கீதா. உடனடியாக சங்கீதாவின் உடலை பிரேத பரிசோதனை செய்து அவரது பெற்றோரிடம் ஒப்படைத்தனர் ஆசிரமத்தினர். திருச்சிக்கு ஆம்புலன்ஸ் மூலம் கொண்டு வரப்பட்ட சங்கீதாவின் உடல் நாவலூரில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டது. சங்கீதாவின் மரணம் தொடர்பாக யாரிடமும் குறிப்பாக ஊடகங்களில் வாய் திறக்கக் கூடாது என அவரது குடும்பத்தாரிடம் ஆசிரமத்தார் சத்தியம் வாங்கியதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது. இந்நிலையில் திருச்சி ராம்ஜி நகர் காவல்நிலையத்தில் சங்கீதாவின் தந்தை புகார் ஒன்றை அளித்தார். அதில், தனது மகள் சங்கீதாவின் மரணத்தில் மர்மம் இருபபதாகவும், அதனை கண்டுபிடிக்குமாறும் அவர் தெரிவித்திருந்தார். முதலில், அந்தப் புகாரை ஏற்க மறுத்த போலீசார், பின்னர் அந்த புகார் குறித்து விசாரிக்குமாறு கர்நாடகா மாநிலம், பிடரி காவல்நிலையத்திற்கு அனுப்பி வைத்துள்ளனர்.

Young Girl's Mystery Death in Nithyananda Ashram - Discussion on Samaya News

Mysterious & sudden death of a 24 year old brahmacharini of the ashram has raised very serious questions and put the Nithyananda ashram in the center of a controversy once again.

It was reported that on 28th December 2014, a 24 year old girl called Sangeetha fell down in the ashram and was taken to BGS hospital, but she suffered a heart attack & died on the way to the hospital. Post mortem was conducted in Rajarajeshwari hospital and the report claims she died of heart attack. The young girl has been living in Nithyananda ashram in Bidadi for last 4 years & she had taken sanyas. How did she die suddenly of heart attack at such a young age, for no apparent reason?!

In this panel discussion, women's activist & member of Congress party Ms. Manjula Naidu and advocate Mr. Kumara Naidu have raised several very pertinent and relevant questions regarding the lapses in procedures and formalities followed by the police & hospital in handling this death case. That is raising doubts about what really might have happened.

Discussion regarding this highly suspicious death on Samaya News and the key points of the discussion are below:

Some of the key points of the discussion are:

1. When the police was informed at first about the sudden death, they have recorded it as an "UNNATURAL DEATH". But later, based on hospital post mortem report, they have closed it as a natural death due to heart attack.

2. In view of the several cases, criminal and civil, already pending against Nithyananda, the police should have conducted a thorough enquiry into the cause of death and they should have taken action under sections 174 & 176 of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC). The police have the right to take suo moto action & enquire into the cause of death, especially since 2 other similar suspicious deaths have also been reported in the ashram earlier.

3. In this case, the police must have also immediately informed the Tahsildar or DC or other such local authorities re. this unnatural death. But no such action has been taken.

4. Post mortem was done with panchnama (5 witnesses) being Nithyananda ashram members. This is not the procedure to be followed, the panchnama witnesses must be other neutral persons.

5. The whole matter seems to have been hurriedly handled, where the body was quietly sent back to tamil nadu yesterday and it has already been buried.

6. The mother of the victim has supposedly informed the police yesterday that the girl was suffering from heart problems for the past 4 years, and that is the reason why she was sent to the ashram. However, reports from close family members confirm that the girl was normal & she did not have any heart problems as alleged. Further, the family members have disclosed that the parents were unhappy with their daughter’s stay in the ashram and about 1 month ago, the parents told Sangeetha to leave the ashram & return home.

7. There is every possibility that the family is being intimidated and pressurized to make misrepresentations. This has been seen in the 2008 case of suicide attempted by a 16 year old boy in the ashram.

Malaysia incharge & mother of the young boy has given a witness statement (part of the charge sheet in the rape case pending trial), that ashram lied to her about the reason why her son was admitted in hospital (they never revealed it was a suicide attempt). Later she came to know from her son that he suffered extreme physical & mental torture from Nithyananda & other senior members of ashram. After she found out the truth, the family was pressurized by the ashram to lie to the authorities. Fearing for their family welfare, they decided to follow ashram’s instructions. She has submitted emails from the ashram coercing her to give a statement prepared by them & thereby lie to the police about the truth behind her son’s suicide attempt.

8. Another suspicious death happened in 2008 where a Canadian called Melvyn Diamond died suddenly. In that case also BGS hospital certified that he died due to heart attack. In that case Lenin was an eye witness, he rushed him to BGS hospital in an ambulance, First the hospital refused to admit him as he was dead already. Then for 1 hour the body was in the ambulance and Nithyananda and his secretary Sadananda made several calls to the hospital administration. Finally after 1 hour the body was taken to emergency and then declared he died due to heart attack.

Nithyananda’s Canada disciple (Nithyananda Dheera) informed the family that it was a natural death, and that he attained moksha/enlightenment by dying in Nithyananda’s presence. Then they cremated the Canadian’s body. There is serious doubt about the real cause of the Canadian’s death also.

9. Another suspicious death is the one reported recently about Mr. Nickson. Nickson was a 29 year old homeopathy & siddha doctor. He was very healthy and normal. He was nithyananda’s early disciple from Tamil Nadu. In 2002 he shifted from Tamil Nadu to Bangalore. In fact, 3 days before his death he visited his family and was completely normal, not suffering from any illness of health issues.

Then suddenly, 3 days later, the family was informed to come immediately as he was very serious condition in Mahaveer Jain hospital in Bangalore. By the time they reached, they were informed he was dead.

But the most important thing is – Nithyananda and secretary sadananda informed the family sometime before 10 am that Nickson died. But the death ertificate from the Hospital shows that he was admitted alive at 10 am and died within 2 hours (around  12.30 pm) due to multiple complications such as kidney failure, septicemia, injury to brain, etc! The timing of these events clearly raises doubts about the real cause of death and possible foulplay in this mysterious & sudden eath of a young man in 2002.

10. Over all, keeping in view the several mysterious deaths and suicide attempts that have taken place in Nithyananda ashram, the police must investigate this issue. The following actions must be taken:

* The body must be sent for a re-post mortem in a govt hospital in Tamil Nadu (where it is currently buried)

* Police must take suo moto action against Nithyananda ashram, because the life & safety of several women and children is at risk.

* The govt hould take action against the offiials who have failed to do their duty properly.

So many crimes and illegal activities of Nithyananda have come to light, including running a school (Gurukul) without proper permission, land grabbing, illegal constructions, possible murder/mysterious  deaths, rape complaints, etc. Why no action has been taken against these? Is Nithyananda so influential? 

Will the Chief Minister of Karnataka wake up atleast now and take action against Nithyananda and his ashram?  Or will they wait for more lives to be sacrificed?

Another Mystery Death in Nithyananda Ashram, of a young girl!

24 year old brahmacharini of Nithyananda ashram has died suddenly and mysteriously in his Bidadi ashram yesterday.The young girl’s name is Sangeetha, from Trichy, Tamil Nadu. 

The girl was living in Nithyananda’s Bidadi ashram last 4 years. She had taken sanyas and became brahmacharini of the ashram. 

Nithyananda Ashram people say she fell down yesterday night around 8 pm and she was taken to hospital, but she died of heart attack on the way to Raja Rajeshwari hospital in Kengeri (near Bidadi). Hospital has also informed the police that she died of heart attack. 

According to reports, Rajarajeshwari hospital has conducted the postmortem and body has been returned to Trichy with her parents. 

But the real reason of her death is not clear. It is extremely unusual for a 24 year old girl to die of heart attack suddenly. 

These incidents are strikingly similar to 2 other mysterious deaths that have happened under Nithyananda.

Suspicious death of Mr. Nickson in 2002, and death of Canadian Mr. Melvyn Diamond in Dec 2008 were both covered up similarly.

In the case of Nickson, he was a healthy 29 year old Siddha & Homeopathy doctor. He had visted his family in Tamil Nadu few days before his sudden death, and even shifted all the things in a lorry to Bangalore. Suddenly, his family was informed he is very serious & admitted to Bhagavan Mahaveer Jain Hopital. 

According to the Hospital death certificate, he died within hours of admission. But according to the witness Swami Jayaramananda, Nithyananda and his secretary Sadananda informed him that nickson had died, even before admitting him to the hospital. 

Nithyananda & sadananda has insisted that the family should cremate Nickson's body & not bury it. Nicksons brother Ambrose has filed a complaint with Karnataka police to investigate this suspicious death.

In the case of Melvyn Diamond, he was a yoga instructor, attending 21 day Inner Awakening program in Nithyananda ashram in Dec 2008. Suddenly one day he was found fallen on the ground in front of the apartment (his room was in 3rd floor). Lenin took him to hospital in an ambulance, he was declared dead on arrival. Later BGS hospital admitted him and gave a death certificate that he died of heart attack. Then he was kept in Raja Rajeshwari hospital for a week and later cremated in Bidadi ashram itself!

2 other suicide attempts also took place in the ashram in 2008-2009. Many such incidents raise questions whether the Ashram is really safe for women & children, and whether something suspicious could be going on inside the ashram. 

The police and govt should investigate this thoroughly and expose the truth about Nithyananda ashram.
