NEWS9: Nithyananda arrives for potency test
Nithyananda has undergone ultrasound tests at the victoria hospital. The test was conducted by a group of 4 doctors. the 4 member team consisted of a forensic medicine expert, a urologist, a psychiatrist and a general physician. nithyananda arrived at the hospital along with his disciples on an empty stomach for the tests. It has been revealed that the self styled godman suffers from blood pressure and diabetes . Nithyananda will also be subjected to a voice test at an FSl lab in madiwala. two cars have been kept ready for the god man to be whicked away to madiwala lab, At the lab the voice of the person will be compared to the voice that had threatened the complainant. The police will try to find through voice tests whther it was nithyananda who was behind the call.
An NRI woman devotee had lodged a complaint against the godman allegeing that he sexually abused her during her stay in the ashram at Bidadi.
Nithyananda had approached the Supreme Court challenging the order of Karnataka High Court which directed him to take the test. But the apex court ruled that the godman will have to undergo the test.

Bangalore: Self-styled godman Swami Nityananda, who is facing criminal charges, including rape, has been brought to the Victoria hospital on Monday for a medical test to determine his potency levels as directed by the Supreme Court last week.
Nityananda is facing charges of rape, cheating, unnatural offences and criminal intimidation by some of his former devotees.
He was first arrested in Himachal Pradesh in 2010, but was later released on bail in the same year.
Nityananda is being tried in Bangalore and had earlier filed a writ petition in the Karnataka High Court seeking Rs.10 crore as damages to his ashram property from the state government.

బెంగళూరు:వివాదాస్పద ఆధ్యాత్మిక గురువు నిత్యానంద అసలు బండారం బయట పడనుంది. అతనికి పురుషత్వ పరీక్షలు చేయనున్నారు. వచ్చే నెల 6న పురుషత్వ పరీక్షల కోసం విక్టోరియా ఆస్పత్రికి హాజరు కావాలని సీఐడీ అధికారులు నిత్యానందకు నోటీసులు జారీ చేశారు. పరీక్షలకు హాజరుకాకపోతే కఠిన చర్యలు తప్పవని హెచ్చరించారు. నిత్యానందుడిపై పలు కేసులు ఉన్న నేపథ్యంలో వాటిలో ఒక కేసుకు సంబంధించి అతనికి పురుషత్వ పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించాలని రామనగర జిల్లా కోర్టు ఆదేశించింది. జిల్లా కోర్టు ఆదేశాలపై నిత్యానంద హైకోర్టును ఆశ్రయించారు.

పురుషత్వ పరీక్షల నుంచి తనను మినహాయించాలని నిత్యానందా స్వామి హైకోర్టును కోరారు. తాను థార్మిక గురువునని, తనకు ఐహిక సుఖాలపై వాంఛలు ఉండవని, అందువల్ల తనకు పురషత్వ పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించకూడదని పేర్కొన్నాడు. ఈ కేసును విచారించిన హై కోర్టు నిత్యానంద దాఖలు చేసిన పిటిషన్ను కొట్టేసింది.

Extern Nithyananda, government urged
Activists staging a demonstration outside the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam in Bidadi of Ramanagaram district on Friday.
Kannada activists staged demonstrations outside the Dhyanapeetam at Bidadi near Bangalore on Friday, urging the government and the Ramanagaram district administration to extern self-styled godman Nithyananda, who was allegedly embroiled in a sex scandal.
‘Avatar Day’, or Nithyananda’s 37th birthday was held at the Dhyanapeetam on Friday.
Several brahmacharis and brahmacharinis, including multilingual actress Ranjitha, were given ‘sanyasa deeksha’ during the celebrations.
Sources at the Dhyanapeetam said that several rituals were held. Members of the Karnataka Navanirman Vedike and Kasturi Karnataka Janapara Vedike staged demonstrations outside the Dhyanapeetam. They urged the State to take over the administration of the Dhyanapeetam.
Tension prevailed for a while when agitating activists attempted to enter the Dhyanapeetam. They removed banners and posters installed outside the Dhyanapeetam and burnt effigies of Nithyananda.

BANGALORE: South Indian film actress Ranjitha, who courted controversy a few years ago after a sleaze video involving her and godman Swami Nithyananda Paramanandawent viral, on Thursday took a vow and became a sanyasin at the godman's ashram near Bidadi, off Mysore Road and 30 km from Bangalore.
Ranjitha was among 40 others who were given the deeksha (oath) by Nithyananda to coincide with his birthday celebrations. The actor has been re-christened as Ma Anandamayi.
Ranjitha, a disciple of Nithyananda, had been in the news for the wrong reasons after her alleged romp with the godman was aired in various television channels.
Sources close to the actor said she has decided to spend the rest of her life at the ashram wearing saffron robes. She has been assigned the responsibility of taking care of the foreign operations of the ashram.
Activists of several pro-Kannada organizations, meanwhile, staged a protest in front of the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetham in Bidadi as news of the actor becoming a sanyasin spread.
Deputy superintendent of police Ramalingappa of Ramanagaram sub division told TOI that the disturbance lasted only for a few minutes. The protesters dispersed after the ashram authorities locked the gates preventing the crowd from gate-crashing into the premises where the ceremony was in progress.

A few hoardings of Nithyananda were installed on the premises and Kannada and Tamil film songs were sung during a procession preceding the deeksha ceremony.
