HC asks Nithyananda to appear for medical test on August 6
The Karnataka High Court on Thursday stayed the non-bailable arrest warrant issued by a Ramanagaram court against Nithyananda Swami of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam and four of his followers in connection with the an alleged rape case.
The court directed Nithyananda to present himself before the investigating officer on August 6 for subjecting him to medical test and also to appear before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Ramanagaram, on August 18.
Justice A.S. Pachhapure passed the order on the petitions filed by Nithyananda and his followers, who are co-accused in the case, questioning the July 28 order of the CJM. They had claimed that the CJM was not justified in issuing the non-bailable arrest warrant against them as the High Court in its July 16 order did not direct them to be present before the CJM on July 28 but it was the date given for the trial court to commence hearing on the rape case, which was pending from four years.
In its July 16 order, the High Court had upheld the 2012 order of the CJM, who had allowed the plea of the Criminal Investigation Department to subject Nithyananda to medical test to find out whether or not he was capable of having sexual intercourse, and also to collect his blood and voice samples.
Observing that Nithyananda had been granted regular bail, the High Court, in the July 16 order, had made it clear that he should be taken into custody only for the limited purpose of subjecting him to medical test and for collecting voice and blood samples, if he voluntarily failed to appear before the investigating office

Non-bailable Warrant Issued Against Swami Nityananda
BANGALORE: The Ramanagara District Court on Monday issued a non-bailable warrant against swami Nityananda after he failed to appear before the court.
Counsel representing Nityananda had filed an application stating that the godman would not be able to attend court proceedings as he was in the Himalayas.
Dismissing the application, the judge said the High Court had strictly ordered Nityananda to appear before the district court.
Noting that he had disrespected the court, the judge issued the warrant against Nityananda and directed the police to arrest and produce him before the court.
The High Court had earlier dismissed Nityananda’s petition seeking to quash an order passed to conduct a potency test on him.
The godman had also petitioned the court to overrule a complaint filed by one Arathi Rao, accusing him of rape, but to no avail.

நித்யானந்தாவை ஆகஸ்ட் 6-ம் தேதிக்குள் ஜாமீனில் வெளிவர முடியாத பிரிவில் கைது செய்து ஆண்மை பரிசோதனை செய்ய வேண்டும் என கர்நாடக போலீஸாருக்கு ராம்நகர் மாவட்ட அமர்வு நீதிமன்றம் திங்கள்கிழமை உத்தரவு பிறப்பித்தது
சர்ச்சைக்குரிய சாமியார் நித்யானந்தா மீது அவரது முன்னாள் பக்தை ஆர்த்திராவ், ராம்நகர் போலீஸில் 2011-ம் ஆண்டு பாலியல் பலாத்கார புகார் அளித்தார். அது தொடர் பாக வழக்கு பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டது. இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து அவர் கைது செய்யப்பட்டு மைசூர் சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டார். பின்னர் ஜாமீனில் வெளியே வந்தார்.
நித்யானந்தா மீது பாலியல் பலாத்கார புகார் பதிவாகியுள் ளதால் போலீஸார் அவருக்கு ஆண்மை பரிசோதனை செய்ய முடிவெடுத்தனர். இதற்கு நித்யா னந்தா கடும் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்தார். ஆண்மை பரிசோதனை செய்ய ராம்நகர் மாவட்ட அமர்வு நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டது. இந்த உத்தரவை எதிர்த்து நித்யானந்தா கர்நாடக உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் மேல் முறையீடு செய்தார்.
இந்நிலையில், நித்யானந்தா மீதான பாலியல் பலாத்கார வழக்கு நீதிபதி ஹொசகவுடர் முன்பு ராம்நகர் மாவட்ட அமர்வு நீதிமன்றத்தில் திங்கள்கிழமை விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது. அப்போது நித்யானந்தா ஆஜராகவில்லை. இதனையடுத்து, ''ராம்நகர் போலீஸார் நித்யானந்தாவை வருகிற ஆகஸ்ட் 6-ம் தேதிக்குள் கைது செய்து, ஆண்மை பரிசோதனை செய்து முடிக்க வேண்டும். 7-ம் தேதி அவரை நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஆஜர்படுத்த வேண்டும்'' என கூறிய நீதிபதி ஹொசகவுடர், ஜாமீனில் வெளியே வரமுடியாத கைது ஆணை பிறப்பித்து உத்தரவிட்டார்.
இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து போலீஸார் திங்கள்கிழமை மாலை நித்யானந்தாவை தேடி பிடதியில் உள்ள 'தியானபீடம்' ஆசிரமத்துக்கு சென்றனர். அவர் ஹரித்வாருக்கு ஆன்மிகப் பயணம் மேற்கொண்டுள்ளதாக அவரது சீடர்கள் தெரிவித்தனர்.
இதையடுத்து அவர் தற்போது இருக்கும் இடத்தை அறிந்து, கைது செய்ய போலீஸார் நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து வருகின்றனர்.

Bengaluru: A non-bailable warrant has been issued by the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court (CJMC), Ramnagara after controversial, self-styled godman Nithyananda Paramahamsa failed to attend the hearing of a ‘committable session’ that was held on Monday. The court has directed the police to execute the non-bailable warrant by August 7, against Nithyananda and five others.
As per the High Court directive, Nithyanda and the others were supposed to attend and file an exemption application on Monday. The prosecution opposed that application and filed an objection. After considering the objection filed by the prosecution, “the court rejected the exemption application filed by Nithyananda’s advocate and issued a non-bailable warrant against the godman and five others,” said public prosecutor, K. Gopal Rao.
Nithyananda had made an appeal to the High Court stating that he was not able to commit the offence he had been accused of. The court had instructed that he undergo a ‘potency’ test to prove this claim. The court had also issued directions to the CID that Nithyananda should cooperate with the CID police and undergo a medical check-up.
The CID officials had issued a notice to Nithyanda on Saturday to present himself for a potency test, but there was no reply from him, said sources from the CID.
A sexual abuse complaint was registered against Nithyananda in the year 2012 when an NRI alleged that she was repeatedly raped during her stay of five years in Nithyananda’s ashram and was threatened with dire consequences if she disclosed the fact publicly.
The then-Karnataka Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda in June 2012 had ordered the arrest of Nithyananda after several of his followers appeared on private Kannada TV news channels and accused the godman of exploiting them sexually. Cases of rape and unnatural sex were registered against the godman and five others in Bidadi police station.

Ramanagaram court took the step after the godman skipped a hearing
A Ramanagaram court on Monday issued a non-bailable warrant against self-proclaimed godman Nithyananda.
Nithyananda has to undergo a potency test following a complaint of rape against him by one of his followers. Last Wednesday, the Karnataka High Court had given the nod for the test and had also instructed the CID to take the godman into custody if he does not co-operate.
The Ramanagaram court has summoned him on August 6 for the test.
On Monday, the godman failed to appear in the Ramanagaram court for a hearing in connection with the case. He is presently in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Instead, he sent his lawyer to seek exemption from personal appearance.
Seeing this, the Ramanagaram court fixed the next hearing on August 7 and also issued a non-bailable warrant against Nithyananda to ensure that he turns up for the test.

பெங்களூர்: ஆண்மை பரிசோதனை செய்ய வசதியாக நித்யானந்தாவை கைது செய்து நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஆஜர்படுத்தும்படி, கர்நாடக சி.ஐ.டி. போலீசாருக்கு ராம்நகரம் மாவட்ட அமர்வு நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டது. கர்நாடக மாநிலம், ராம்நகரம் மாவட்டம், பிடதியில் உள்ள நித்யானந்தா ஆசிரமத்தின் மடாதிபதி நித்யானந்தா மீது கர்நாடகாவில் பல வழக்குகள் பதிவாகியுள்ளது. கடந்த 2 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் போலீசார் நடத்திய விசாரணையில் தனக்கு ஆண்மை சக்தி இல்லை என்று கூறியிருந்தார். அதை மறுத்த பிடதி போலீசார், நித்யாந்தாவுக்கு ஆண்மை பரிசோதனையும், ரத்த பரிசோதனை நடத்த அனுமதி கோரி ராம்நகரம் மாவட்ட அமர்வு நீதிமன்றத்தில் மனு தாக்கல் செய்தனர். பரிசோதனைக்கு ஒத்துழைக்கும்படி நித்யானந்தாவுக்கு கோர்ட் உத்தரவிட்டது. மாவட்ட அமர்வு நீதிமன்றத்தின் தீர்ப்பை எதிர்த்து நித்யானந்தா கர்நாடக உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் மேல்முறையீடு மனு தாக்கல் செய்தார்.
அந்த மனு கடந்த 16ம் தேதி உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது. நித்யானந்தாவிடம் ஆண்மை பரிசோதனை செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று போலீசார் விரும்பினால், அதை செய்யலாம். அதற்கு நித்யானந்தா ஒத்துழைப்பு கொடுக்க மறுத்தால் கைது செய்து பரிசோதனை செய்ய போலீசாருக்கு அனுமதி வழங்குவதாக தீர்ப்பில் கூறியது. அதை எதிர்த்து மீண்டும் நித்யானந்தா உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் மேல்முறையீடு செய்தார். டிவிஷன் பெஞ்ச் அந்த மனுவை தள்ளுபடி செய்து கடந்த 25ம் தேதி உத்தரவிட்டது.
இதனிடையில் நித்யானந்தாவுக்கு ஆகஸ்ட் 6ம் தேதி பெங்களூர் விக்டோரியா அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் ஆண்மை பரிசோதனை செய்ய தீர்மானித்துள் ளதாகவும், அந்நாளில் மருத்துவமனைக்கு வரவேண்டும் என்று சி.ஐ.டி. போலீஸ் சார்பில் நேற்று முன்தினம் நித்யானந்தாவுக்கு நோட்டீஸ் அனுப்பப்பட்டது.
இந்நிலையில், நித்யானந்தா மீதான வழக்கு ராம்நகரம் மாவட்ட முதன்மை அமர்வு நீதிமன்றத்தில் நேற்று விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது. அப்போது நித்யானந்தா சார்பில் ஆஜரான வக்கீல், தனது கட்சிக்காரர் ஆன்மிக சுற்றுப்பயணம் மேற்கொள்ள திட்டமிட்டுள்ளதால், சி.ஐ.டி. போலீசார் நிர்ணயம் செய்துள்ள நாளில் பரிசோதனைக்காக மருத்துவமனைக்கு வர இயலாது.
ஆகவே விலக்கு அளிக்க வேண்டும் என்றார். அவரது வாதத்தை நிராகரித்த நீதிபதி, ஆண்மை பரிசோதனைக்கு போலீசார் நிர்ணயம் செய்துள்ள நாளில் நித்யானந்தா கண்டிப்பாக ஆஜராக வேண்டும். நித்யானந்தாவை சி.ஐ.டி. போலீசார் கைது செய்து நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஆஜர்படுத்த வேண்டும். அவர் தப்பிச் செல்லாமல் இருக்க கைது வாரன்ட் பிறப்பித்து உத்தரவிடுகிறேன் என்று தீர்ப்பளித்தார்.

బెంగళూరు/చెన్నై: వివాదాస్పద ఆధ్యాత్మిక గురువు నిత్యానందకు రామనాడు కోర్టు నాన్ బెయిలబుల్ వారెంట్ జారీ చేసింది. నిత్యానందపై పలు కేసులు నమోదైన విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఓ కేసు విషయంలో నిత్యానందకు ఈ మేరకు వారెంట్ జారీ చేసినట్లు తెలిసింది. ఇది ఇలా ఉండగా, ఆగస్టు 6న నిత్యానందను అదుపులోకి తీసుకుని పురుషత్వ పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించాలని పోలీసులను హైకోర్టు ఆదేశించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. సినీ నటి రంజితతో నిత్యానందకు శారీరక సంబంధాలున్నాయన్న వార్తలు అప్పట్లో కలకలం సృష్టించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. నిత్యానంద మాజీ శిష్యురాలు ఒకరు నిత్యానంద తనను శారీరకంగా వేధించాడని తనపై అత్యాచారానికి పాల్పడ్డాడని బెంగళూరు పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేసింది. ఈ వ్యవహారంలో నిత్యానందను అరెస్ట్ చేయడానికి వెళ్లిన పోలీసులకు నిత్యానంద దొరకలేదు. దీంతో, నిత్యానంద కేసు కోర్టుకు చేరింది. కేసును విచారించిన రామనగర సెషన్స్ కోర్టు నిత్యానందకు పురుషత్వ పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించాలని ఆదేశించింది. దీనికి సంబంధించి నిత్యానంద పైకోర్టుకు అప్పీల్ చేశాడు. తాను బాలుడితో సమానమని, తనకు సెక్స్ సామర్థ్యం లేదంటూ కోర్టుకు తెలిపాడు. దీంతో కోర్టు పురుషత్వ పరీక్షలపై స్టే విధించింది. ఈ కేసు పెండింగ్లో ఉంది. ప్రస్తుతం నిత్యానందపై ఉన్న అన్ని కేసులను విచారించిన హైకోర్టు స్టేను ఎత్తి వేసింది. వెంటనే నిత్యానందకు పురుషత్వ పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించాలని ఆదేశించింది. ఈ క్రమంలో నిత్యానంద తరఫు లాయర్ వాదిస్తూ నిత్యానంద లొంగిపోవడానికి వారం రోజుల గడువు ఇవ్వాలని, అప్పట్లోగా లొంగిపోకపోతే అరెస్ట్ చేయవచ్చని కోర్టును కోరారు. అయితే, ఈ అప్పీల్ను కూడా హైకోర్టు కొట్టివేసింది. దీంతో, నిత్యానంద అరెస్టుకు రంగం సిద్ధమైంది.

300 ರು.ಗೆ ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಟ: ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ವ್ಯಂಗ್ಯ
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಕೇವಲ 300 ರುಪಾಯಿಗಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ರಾಸಲೀಲೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಆರೋಪಿ ಬಿಡದಿ ಆಶ್ರಮ ಪೀಠಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಕನ್ನಡಪರ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ವ್ಯಂಗ್ಯವಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಕನ್ನಡ ಪರ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ಕುರಿತು ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಟೀಕಿಸಿದ್ದು, 300 ರುಪಾಯಿಗೆ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಮೂಲಕ ತನ್ನ ಕೀಳು ತನವನ್ನು ಹೊರಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದ್ವೇಷವಿಲ್ಲ ಆದರೆ ದುಡ್ಡಿಗಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರ ಕಾವು ನನಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಲ್ಲ ಅವರ ಪಾಡಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯ ಶಿಫ್ಟ್ ಮುಗಿದ ನಂತರ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ದ್ವಾರಗಳಿವೆ ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಲಿಸಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಭಕ್ತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಲೇವಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಸುಮಾರು 30 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಈ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರದ್ದು ಇದೇ ಪಾಡು. ಕ್ಯಾಲೆಂಡರ್ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಿ ನಂತರ ಮರೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
