BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court today adjourned hearing of the bail plea of self-styled godman Nithyananda Swami, arrested on criminal charges including rape, to May 18.
Justice V B Pinto adjourned the hearing when the bail plea came up before the vacation bench.
The Sessions court at Ramanagara, 40 km from here, had yesterday extended Nithyananda's judicial custody to May 26.
Nithyananda landed in a controversy in March after local TV channels aired purported video footage showing him in a compromising position with a Tamil actress. He was arrested from Solan in Himachal Pradesh on April 21.
Nithyananda is disgusting. we all pray that he gets punished as soon as possible. We don't want to see Nithyananda in Bidadi again. We are just waiting for him to get punished severely so that nobody dares to exploit women again.
ReplyDeleteNever knew what were intentions behind saying " I am with you...". We don't need your blessings or you. If I also did not have strong self will, I would have been one of your preys. Thank God I always went there with my would be. He was always by my side. I was just thinking how dangerous it would have been going there alone, if I did not have strong self will, he could have brain washed my mind also like he did with other girls and ashramites. I hope they learn a lesson, if still not then God bless.
ReplyDeleteI am a 26 year old girl from chandigarh. Went to Bidadi last year and did BSP and healers. Never in mind did it come that he was so disgusting. I hope he gets punished as soon as possible. He is worse than the people who forcefully rape.
ReplyDeleteNever in my life I would have attended his sessions if I knew what were his intentions. Most of us came out saved. Thanks to God!
