The contestants and their antics in the first season of Kannada Bigg Boss, which was hosted by Kichcha Sudeep, managed to capture the attention of audiences. Now, with the announcement of the second season, there is renewed interest in the reality show. The second season will also be hosted by Sudeep and the actor recently announced that the promo shoot will take place soon, making many wonder who the final contestants are. Sources have revealed to Bangalore Times that controversial godman Nithyananda and actress Shakeela are all set to enter the Bigg Boss house.

Nithyananda was embroiled in a controversy in 2010 when a TV channel aired a video of him engaging in a sexual act with a woman who they claimed was Tamil actress Ranjtha. The godman has stuck by his claim that the video was doctored. A former follower also later accused him of raping her for over five years and claimed that she was the one who filmed his alleged sex tape with Ranjitha.

Known as Silk Smitha's successor, Shakeela began her career in a Tamil soft porn movie, in which Silk Smitha played the lead role. She went on to act in several B grade films before delivering the Malayalam hit Kinnarathumbikal. She became a popular Malayalam actress and her films were dubbed in several languages. She is reportedly working on an autobiography which is said to include her liaisons with film personalities and politicians.

Rape victim alleges threat from 'sex swami' Nithyananda

Bangalore: An ex-devotee of the controversial godman Nithyanada, Aarthi Rao, has allegedly claimed that there is a threat to her life.
One of the key witnesses in Nithyananda case, Aarthi has approached the city police seeking protection for her and her family members.
Aarthi Rao is the NRI woman who sparked a sex scandal against Nithyanada.
The local news channel televised the charges levelled by Aarti Rao, a former devotee of Swami, who currently lives in the US and other former devotees in a series of interviews since June 3, 2012.
According to news reports, Aarthi lodged a complaint with police on Friday night alleging that she feared a threat to her life against the controversial self styled godman Nithyananda.
Speaking to reporters at the city police commissionerate, Aarthi alleged that her life was under threat and pointed out that two days back some unknown persons visited her residence in Teynampet, Chennai, one after the other posing unnecessary queries.
“An unidentified man was found lurking near my father’s car parked outside the house. I don’t think anyone but Nithyananda would try to threaten me as I am scheduled to attend a court hearing in Ram Nagar court, Karnataka, and suspect his involvement,” she said after lodging a complaint with the Commissioner of Police.
Once, during a visit to Bengaluru, Aarthi met godman Nithyananda in his ashram. During her stay, she was allegedly raped by him. Aarthi later lodged a complaint with the police who booked a case against Nithyananda.

Bangalore: An ex-devotee of the controversial godman Nithyanada, Aarthi Rao, has allegedly claimed that there is a threat to her life on Saturday, as per news reports.

Aarthi Rao is the NRI woman who sparked a sex scandal against godman Nithyanada.

The local news channel televised the charges levelled by Aarti Rao, a former devotee of Swami, who currently lives in the US and other former devotees in a series of interviews since June 3, 2012.
According to the news reports, Aarthi lodged a complaint with police on Friday night alleging that she feared a threat to her life against the controversial self styled godman Nithyananda.

“An unidentified man was found lurking near my father’s car parked outside the house. I don’t think anyone but Nithyananda would try to threaten me as I am scheduled to attend a court hearing,” she said after lodging a complaint with the Commissioner of Police.

Earlier also Rao had lodged a police complaint with CB-CID alleging that Nithyananda and his supporters had threatened her and her family members.

After accusing Nithyananda of sexual abuse, Rao became a prosecution witness when Karnataka police filed a chargesheet against the godman.

Rules Not Followed to Select Nithyananda: TN Govt

The Tamil Nadu government has informed the Madras High Court that the head of the Madurai Aadheenam did not follow provisions of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, while selecting controversial self styled godman Nithyananda as next trustee to the mutt.

In a counter to a petiton filed in the court,Secretary of Tamil Development, Religious Endowments and Information Department said "the present head of the math has not followed provisions of the Act (Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959) in selection of succession to the office of trustees of the mutt."

The government was also to take action against the present mutt head, it said.

The counter said the commissioner was contemplating legal action as per Section 59 of the Act for 'misdeeds' committed by Sri Arunagirinathar. This Section deals with removal of the trustee of the mutt or specific endowments attached to it.

In a PIL and other miscellaneous petitions, one M Jagathalapradapan had prayed for a direction to authorities to take interim custody of Madurai Aadheenam Mutt, freeze its accounts and remove Nithyananda from the mutt.

Nithyananda is facing charges of rape and criminal intimidation levelled against him in 2010 after some TV channels telecast purported video footage of him in a compromising position with an actress.

சென்னை தேனாம்பேட்டை சேர்ந்தவர் ஆர்த்திராவ். இவர் அமெரிக்காவில் கணவருடன் வசித்தபோது அடிக்கடி அங்குள்ள நித்யானந்தா ஆசிரமத்துக்கு சென்றார். அப்போது நித்யானந்தாவின் சீடர் ஆனார்.

பெங்களூர் வந்து பிடரி ஆசிரமத்தில் நித்யானந்தாவுடன் தங்கி இருந்தார். அப்போது நித்யானந்தா தன்னை கற்பழித்து விட்டதாக ஆர்த்தி ராவ் பரபரப்பு புகார் கூறினார். இந்த வழக்கிலும், நித்யானந்தா மீதான ஆபாச வீடியோ வழக்கிலும் ஆர்த்திராவ் முக்கிய சாட்சியாக உள்ளார்.

நித்யானந்தா பற்றி ஆபாச வீடியோ வெளியிட்ட அவரது முன்னாள் சீடர் லெனின் கருப்பனுக்கு ஆர்த்திராவ் உதவி செய்ததாகவும் கூறப்பட்டது. தற்போது ஆர்த்திராவ் சென்னையில் இருக்கிறார்.

இந்த நிலையில் இன்று மதியம் ஆர்த்திராவ் சென்னை போலீஸ் கமிஷனர் அலுவலகத்துக்கு வந்து ஒரு புகார் மனு கொடுத்தார். அதில் கூறியிருப்பதாவது:-

கடந்த 26-ந்தேதி மாலை 4 மணி அளவில் நாங்கள் வசிக்கும் வீட்டு காம்பவுண்டில் தந்தையின் கார் நிறுத்தப்பட்டு இருந்தது. அப்போது ஒரு மனிதன் காரின் அருகில் வந்து சந்தேகப்படும் வகையில் ஏதோ செய்து கொண்டு இருந்தார். இதை கவனித்த எனது தாய் அவரிடம் வந்து என்ன செய்கிறாய்? உனக்கு என்ன வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டார். அதற்கு அவர் வேறு ஒருவரை பார்க்க வந்தேன் என்று கூறியவாறு செல்போனில் பேசிக்கொண்டே சென்று விட்டார். அதன் பிறகு அன்று இரவு 7 1/2 மணிக்கு ஒருவர் வந்து விட்டு காலிங்பெல்லை அழுத்தினார்.

அம்மா கதவை திறந்து விசாரித்தபோது, செந்தில் இருக்கிறாரா? என்று கேட்டிருக்கிறார். அப்படி யாரும் இல்லையே என்று அம்மா சொன்னதால் தெரியாமல் வந்து விட்டேன் என்று அந்த நபர் சென்று விட்டார். பின்னர் 1/2 மணி நேரம் கழித்து இரவு 8 மணிக்கு மீண்டும் ஒருவர் வந்து காலிங்பெல்லை அழுத்தி சுஜாதா இருக்கிறாரா? என்று கேட்டார். அப்படி யாரும் இல்லை என்று சொன்னதும் தெரியாமல் வந்து விட்டேன் என்று கூறி போய் விட்டார்.

இவர்கள் நடமாட்டம் எங்களுக்கு சந்தேகத்தை ஏற்படுத்தி உள்ளது. எனது குடும்பத்துக்கு இவர்களால் ஆபத்து நேருமோ என அஞ்சுகிறோம். நித்யானந்தா வழக்கில் நான் முக்கிய சாட்சியாக இருக்கிறேன். நித்யானந்தா தவிர வேறு யாரும் எனக்கு எதிரிகள் கிடையாது. அவர்தான் ஆட்களை அனுப்பி இதுபோன்ற செயலில் ஈடுபட்டு இருக்கலாம் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.

Controversial spiritual leader  sex Swami Nithyananda is likely to be a part of reality show Bigg Boss this season. Swami Nithyananda was in news after southern actress Ranjitha accused him of raping her more than 40 times. There were allegations of sexual harassment by some of his other disciples also.

There is a buzz that the self-styled godman is all set to participate in Bigg Boss 6. "I have been told the godman has been approached earlier. It is too early to confirm or deny," his spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar said in a statement.

Notably, during the last season of the show, Swami Agnivesh entered Bigg Boss house to promote and create awareness on social issues including corruption for a brief period.

Another name cropping up for the Bigg Boss is of TV actress Aashka Goradia, who was last seen as Kalavati tai in Laagi Tujhse Lagan. When asked on her participation, Aashka told PTI, "I would love to go to Bigg Boss house. It is a big property. But as of now I haven't been approached."

Bigg Boss sees celebrity contestants staying in a house for about three months, cut off from the outside world. They are overseen by a 'mysterious person' known as Bigg Boss.

Show's host Salman Khan has promised that the content this season will be cleaner and suitable for family-viewing, considering that it will be aired at prime time 9 PM.

The show is set to hit the tube from October 7 on Colors Channel.
