Self-proclaimed godman Swami Nithyananda's troubles, it seems, are here to stay. New investigations have revealed that the swami had sodomised some of his disciples.

An investigating officer said that Nithyananda and his men are allegedly threatening witnesses connected with the case. His sexual romp with men and women was revealed by a witness's statement that was attached with the chargesheet filed by the CID.
Sources say that Nithyananda sodomised Vinay Bharadwaj, a disciple, and later booked a criminal case against him because he had 'gotten too big for his shoes'. One of the witnesses, who was repeatedly raped by the swami said that Vinay, who was the spiritual head of a Nithyananda Vedic Temple in the West Coast (US), was removed from the position because of his 'ego'. According to her, Vinay called her in July 2009, and shared information about Nithyananda's relations with many women, and the relationship between him and the swami.
According to Vinay, Nithyananda was power-hungry, and loved only himself. But the witness did not converse with him for long, as Nithyananda had directed her to keep her distance from him. Later, Nithyananda told her that Vinay was having ego clashes with him, and had subsequently left the mission. Nithyananda had added that Vinay was spreading false allegations about him.
The swami went to the US from September to October 2009, and the witness was with him. During that visit, Nithyananda told her that Vinay had been 'taken care of', and he was not a cause for concern anymore.
She says, "After the scandal broke out in March 2010, I found that within 10 days of sending that e-mail to the Ashram, Nithyananda's team had drafted legal documents, which implicated Vinay in false charges. The team also pressurised him to sign the document, and withdraw his statements. If he failed to do so, Nithyananda had threatened him with legal action in the US.
Witness tampering
In the meantime, CID officers alleged that Nithyananda and his henchmen are threatening the witnesses connected with the case. Some witnesses who are in US had agreed to depose before the department, but later developed cold feet.
An officer said "We learnt Nithyananda and his disciples were intimidating them." Vinay had agreed in the FIR against the swami that he was a victim of sodomy. Vinay had agreed to come to India to depose against the swami, but failed to turn up.
Later, it was learnt that in order to prevent him from coming to India, a criminal case was booked against him by the Nithyananda Ashram in the US.

Nithyananda abused children, claims former disciple dharmananda
Self-styled godman Paramahamsa Nithyananda indulged in sexual acts with children besides his several disciples, the tainted spiritual leader’s former disciple Lenin Karuppan told a press conference amid dramatic scenes on Thursday.
Nithyananda’s downfall had begun after Lenin complained to the police against the godman in March this year. He had also submitted a compact disc containing visuals of a man, purportedly Nithyananda frolicking with a Tamil actress.
As many as 20 persons, who claimed to be the disciples of Nithyananda, arrived at the Bangalore Press Club where Lenin addressed the media for the first time after a private television channel had aired the lewd visuals on March 2. The police directed the disciples to leave the venue. They were later seen in front of the Press Club.
Lenin alleged that Nithyananda and his disciples were threatening him after he had filed the police complaint. He added that he had the support of several former devotees, who were not coming forward with complaints since they were scared of the godman.
“Nithyananda threatened me several times and it still continues. I have already informed the matter to the criminal investigation department (CID) officers. He (Nithyananda) had offered me Rs20 crore to not to reveal the video shot at his ashram,” Lenin said.
The former disciple had earlier claimed that he had clandestinely recorded Nithyananda’s lewd acts. Lenin told the media that he had more evidence against his former spiritual leader.
“I have all the documents to prove that he was involved in sex with women, men and children as well. He also visited striptease clubs and consumed alcohol during his US tour. He does all these acts in private,” alleged Lenin. He added that he was acting against Nithyananda because the latter has been claiming that he is God. “He teaches people and being in such a sacred position as a Hindu saint, he should not indulge in sex with his devotees,” Lenin said.
The police registered a case against the godman’s disciples, who barged into the press conference.

NITHY'S EPISODE (A SUMMARY OF EVENTS) - Part 2

So Nithy, you ran away leaving your Ashramites, gurukul children and devotees in a lurch. Did you realize what effect it had on them? You were supposed to be an AVATARA PURUSHA and a PURNA AVATARA in the mould of Lord Krishna.The whole Ashram vacated save a few perplexed foreigners who later left for Kumbh Mela. Your Ashrams were assaulted in Bidadi, Tamil Nadu and Hyderabad. Did you care? You were only worried about your safety, security and avoiding arrest.
You drove away in a convoy of three cars. Ford Endeavour, Innova and a Toyota Qualis. Bhaktananda was driving you in the Endeavour. Your brother Nithyeshwar and Gopika in the Innova and Atma Prabha and another lady in the Qualis. More importantly, the cars were loaded with 10 suitcases. What were you carrying with you Nithy? Cash and Gold of course. We can only guess that you were also carrying some incriminating evidence you wished to hide or destroy. Frantically the convoy drove through rural Tamil Nadu and crossed in to Andhra. A little good sense prevailed on you and sent back the the Innova and the Qualis while shifting some suitcases to your Endevour. Atma Prabha was needed here in Chennai to do some fire fighting to file cases in the court to stop visual media with the help of Mr Ramanathan, father of Ma Bhaktika. He was also needed here to file some false cases against Dharmananda to checkmate him. Alas, your poor secretary could not do much. Aiyya at that time could not be deployed in Tamil Nadu for the fear of being lynched by the mobs. Now we will get back to your flight.
Driving frantically Bhakta and you reached Hyderabad Airport. You quickly changed in to pants and a shirt and wore a panama type cap to conceal your identity. Leaving your car in the Airport parking lot, you and Bhakta took a flight to Delhi. From Delhi you took a flight to Kathmandu, Nepal. Meanwhile Nithy you were caught on a camera by a close software devotee of Hyderabad and this is a treasured photograph perhaps in the possession of Dharmananda. After things cool down you could use it in your holocaust museum. What kind of people behave like the way you did? Tell us Nithy, don’t you owe us an answer. The savvy spin master Sachitananda was at his best with his white lies. He spun a great story of a Christian conspiracy having roped in Ranjitha who in turn roped in Dharmananda(Lenin Kurappan). The budget set aside by the Church was supposed to be Rs 200.00 crores . An advance of Rs20.00 crores was paid as advance shared by both and that Ranjitha was a lady of loose character and that both were christians. Crucial evidence like Non Disclosure Agreements (confidential), sensitive recordings, archives etc were either hidden or destroyed. The P.R.O, Aiyya and his Brahmachary driver and Sachitananda were at their best shifting suitcases, files etc. Both Sachitananda and Ma Sachitananda were constantly on the phone spreading disinformation and lying about the expose to keep the devotee group intact. You, Sachit and Ma Sachit, we don’t expect you to tell the truth after all you were trained by the Fraud and master liar. The police will, I am sure testify to the fact that you never spoke the truth.
During the first week of your expose you called all your near and dear devotees, Acharyas, organizers and admitted that the video was true and that you had a relation ship with only Rangitha and no body else. Are you going to deny this? Or do you need the testimony of all your Acharyas and Organisers. This is one reason almost all have left you.They did not believe you. Now you are cursing and abusing them. The Doctor from L.A., seemed to be a man with lot of contacts. He along with a local sincere devotee (a tall person normally seen in the Ashram) were working over time meeting the C.M., Home Minister, top police officials and other important people in the Govt. The Doctor and the researcher flew to Delhi to arrange a meeting of the sant (Hindu swami’s) community with Nithy. Nithy, can you deny this? Even if you deny, the Swami’s will not and this is on record.
Now what is it that the sant (Hindu swami’s) community and other well wishers suggested. They advised, “Nithy! You are a young man. Don’t be so impatient and immature. You have made a mistake and please have the courage to admit it. This is not a legal issue as long as Ranjitha does not complain, but it is a moral issue of great importance involving a Swami. There is a remedy available in the Hindu Dharma. Do prayaschita (repentance), penance and Tapas. For this, please relocate to any place in the Himalayas for atleast a couple of years meditate, improve your understanding and maturity and come back to take charge of your Ashram” An interim arrangement to maintain your Ashram was also thought of. You agreed to all of this just because you needed their support at that time. You had no intention of implementing their advice. You just fooled them. Your subsequent actions say so. The Swami’s will attest to it even if you deny.
The Doctor returned to Bangalore and seemed a bit disappointed because he had seen a Non Disclosure Agreement and started getting doubts about Nithy’s intentions and integrity. It’s a known fact that on the day he was returning to U.S he called you and bluntly asked if there was one woman or more women. You admitted saying many women. You also continued shamelessly and said it was like Kalpataru. They came with a desire and you fulfilled. Its well known that he turned against you after this. The closure of L.A and other Temples is testimony to this. But you the Avatara Purusha started a tirade. You called up hundreds in U.S to tell them that the Doctor was trying to usurp your property in L.A. What a shame Nithy. Do you have a conscience? How can you sleep peacefully. The local devotee also moved away seeing your N.D.A’s. You started a campaign to malign him calling hundreds of devotees that he wanted to knock away your Bidadi property. Shame on you.
During the course of this one month almost all your donors appealed and requested you to return their properties, temples and cash which they donated thinking that you were a Avatara Purusha. Now they felt cheated and betrayed by your lustful behavior like any ordinary mortal. Did you not claim that below your Manipuraga chakra you have no Chakras and hence you were above lust? Did you not claim that you were in SAHAJA SAMADI for the last seven years and hence you can not do any meditation or any yoga? Did you not give DEVI DARSHAN wearing a sari? These are the factors that influenced the people to donate their properties, temples and cash.You agreed to return and refund their properties and now you are going back on your word. Why Nithy? You are a Parmahamsa why are you so attached to all these worldly things. Don’t you think that you need to address these issues. You are a just a greedy man out to amass wealth and indulging in lustful activities.
By now the police caught up with you and pulled you out of your hole in Solan District, Himachal Pradesh on 21St April,2010. Nithy! Had you heeded to the advice of the Sant community and the elders, perhaps there would not have been any complaint against you. Had it not been for your vindictive attitude going after Dharmananda and other probable witnesses you would not have been in this predicament today. Your hurry to come back and take charge , your rampant lies and claiming that the Video was morphed and digitally altered was like rubbing salt on the wounds of scores of your victims. Remember Nithy, to speak the truth you don't need any brains. You need cunning to lie because you need to cover up your previous lies. Stop trying to abuse the legal system trying to squash the F.I.R and the chargesheet. Address the moral issue.

Had you heeded to the advice of the Sant community and the elders, perhaps there would not have been any complaint against you. Had it not been for your vindictive attitude going after Dharmananda and other probable witnesses you would not have been in this predicament today. Your hurry to come back and take charge , your rampant lies and claiming that the Video was morphed and digitally altered was like rubbing salt on the wounds of scores of your victims. Remember Nithy, to speak the truth you don't need any brains. You need cunning to lie because you need to cover up your previous lies. Stop trying to abuse the legal system trying to squash the F.I.R and the chargesheet. Address the moral issue.

NITHY'S EPISODE (A SUMMARY OF EVENTS) - Part 1
Dear Nithy,
I was a close ex-member of your mission, thoroughly brainwashed and not realizing that your organization was a cult. I am out of it now thanks to Dharmananda and the truth subsequently revealed. Let me summarise the events from 19th Feb 2010 when your SAMADHI (during an N.S.P) started.
Aiyya and Bhaktananda suddenly returned from the U.S. on 20th Feb 2010. Aiyya cut short his trip and Bhakta returned with in 4 days. And suddenly Ma Sachit (Ragini) then incharge for Hyderabad Ashram also came to Banglore in a rush. Many Ashramites and residents were wondering why? By then, you Nithy started the drama of Samadi. The residents and even the security guards were perplexed. The guards were also heard asking “What Samadi is this, Nithy is going out late night and also returning at odd hours?” The Ashramites and residents were fooled, only the inner circle coterie and partners of Nithy knew the truth about the video, for they were constantly trying to contact Dharmananda who was in hiding out of fear. There seems to be sufficient proof of this by way of phone calls and audio recordings with Dharma.
After a week Sachit who was managing the show in the Ashram started spinning stories saying that Nithy is now out of Samadi and that he was resting in a resort as he needed a much deserved break having worked non-stop for 7 years. You Nithy, during this time you were in a resort in Kerala very much in touch with Ranjita and making a deal with her in case of the expose. All this, you were doing while trying to desperately contact Dharmananda and settle with him. Everything is on record.
And how can we forget that you instructed Palaniappan (Sevananda) to lodge a false complaint with Bidadi police station that he was receiving blackmail calls from Dharma on his mobile phone. This brainwashed fool did the same on 28th Feb and back dated the complaint. Nithy and his First Circle cult managers did not know that precisely at this time the whole police team of Ramnagaram and Bidadi were watching the C.D already couriered to them by an anonymous victim.
Is this how an Enlightened master handles situations with awareness??? Sorry to say, Dharmananda handled the situation with better awareness.
Recall!!! Nithy you returned on the night of 1st March and assembled everybody at 10.30 PM at the Temple. You gave an emotional speech leaving everybody surprised. Apologizing to every one and promising not to physically hit any Brahmachary or Ashramites. Gave liberty to all Brahmacharies to spend their time as they like. Many were in tears at your pleadings. On the morning of 2nd March you were supposed to address a meeting at 9.30 AM. You never did. Postponed the same to 12.30 PM. You never did. Cancelled the same and never showed your face again. YOU RAN AWAY.
Then the expose on the evening of 2nd March 2010. So much for an Enlightened Master to leave his flock and run away like a common criminal. What kind of Leadership quality is this? Can you answer this Nithy? Do you agree that the fundamental principles of Spirituality is Truth and Ahimsa. Have you ever introspected if you ever lived by these principles??? Don’t you think that you owe an answer to all your devotees? Some of them have given up careers to join you. Most have devoted 75% of their time for your Mission ……

லெனின் கருப்பன் என்கிற லெனின் தர் மானந்தா ரகசியமாக எடுத்த நித்யானந்தர்- ரஞ்சிதா படுக்கையறை வீடியோ காட்சிகள் நமது நக்கீரனிலும் தொலைக்காட்சி சேனல்களிலும் வெளியான போது, சாமியார் போர்வையில் இருந்த நித்யானந்தாவின் உண்மை முகம் உலகத்திற்குத் தெரிய வந்தது. அவரது ஆசிரமத்தில் பெண்கள் எதிர்கொள்ளும் கொடுமைகள் பற்றிய தகவல்களும் வெளியாக, தமிழக போலீஸ்தான் முதலில் எஃப்.ஐ.ஆர். போட்டது. பிறகு, பிடதி ஆசிரமம் மைசூர் அருகே அமைந்திருப்பதால் கர்நாடக போலீசுக்கு வழக்கு மாற்றமானது. கர்நாடக போலீசார் இதில் மெத்தனம் காட்டிவந்த நிலையில் தான், கர்நாடக சி.ஐ.டி. வசம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டது.
தலைமறைவாக இருந்த நித்யானந்தாவின் செல்போன் பேச்சுகள் ட்ரேஸ் செய்யப்பட்டதில் அவர், இமாச்சலப் பிரதேசத் தில் இருப்பது தெரியவர, அங்கே சென்று கைது செய்தது சி.ஐ.டி. 53 நாள் சிறையிலிருந்த நித்யானந்தா, விசாரணை நேரத்தில் டிரா மா போட முயன்றபோது, போலீசார் தங்கள் பாணியில் சில போடு களைப் போட்டு உண்மைகளை வெளியே கொண்டுவந்தனர்.
தன் மீது சார்ஜ் ஷீட் போடுவதற்குள் வழக்கை குவாஷ் செய்துவிடவேண்டும் என்று கர்நாடக உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில் நித்யானந்தா வழக்குப் போட்டார். இந்த வழக்கை முதலில் ஒரு நீதிபதி மற்றொரு நீதிபதிக்குப் பரிந்துரைக்க, அவரும் விசாரிக்க மறுத்து, வேறொருவருக்கு அனுப்ப, இப்படி 3 நீதிபதிகளிடம் மாறியது இந்த வழக்கு. கடந்த 29-ந் தேதியன்று வழக்கு விசாரணைக்கு வந்தபோது, சி.ஐ.டி. தரப்பில் ஆஜரான அரசு வக்கீல், 27-ந் தேதியே சார்ஜ்ஷீட் போடப்பட்டுவிட்டது என்று பதிலளிக்க அத்தனை பேருக்கும் ஷாக். வழக்கை குவாஷ் செய்வது தொடர்பான பெட்டிஷன் விசாரணையில் உள்ள நிலையில் எப்படி சார்ஜ் ஷீட் போடப்பட்டது என்ற கேள்வி முன்வைக்கப்பட, நித்தியால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு பெண் வாக்குமூலம் கொடுத்திருப்பதையும் தெரிவித்தது சி.ஐ.டி தரப்பு. எந்தப் பெண்ணுமே புகார் கொடுக்கவில்லை என நித்யானந்தா தரப்பு தங்களுக்கு ஆதரவான ஊடகங்கள் வாயிலாகப் பிரச்சாரத்தை வேகப்படுத்திப் பார்க்கிறது.
நித்யானந்தாவால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு பெண்மணி, கர்நாடகாவுக்கே நேரில் வந்து, தனக்கு ஏற்பட்ட பாதிப்புகள் பற்றி சி.ஐ.டி. போலீசாரிடம் வாக்குமூலம் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்.
அந்தப் பெண் அளித்துள்ள புகாரில், நான் நித்யானந்தரின் போதனைகளால் ஆசிரமத்தில் இருந்தேன். "தான்தான் சிவன், கிருஷ்ணன் என்றும் நான்தான் பார்வதி' என்றும் அவர் வர்ணிப்பார். தான் சொல்கிறபடி நடந்துகொண்டால் ஆன்மீக உலகத்தில் உயர்ந்த இடம் கிடைக் கும் என்று சொல்வார். அவரது போதனை களில் மயங்கிய என்னை அவர் பயன்படுத்திக் கொண்டார். அவரோட 4 பேரும் அந்த ஆசி ரமத்தில் துணையிருந்தார்கள்'' என்று அந்த வாக்குமூலத்தில் சொல்லப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அதனடிப்படையில்தான், நித்யானந்தாவுடன் பக்தா னந்தா, சச்சிதானந்தா, சதா னந்தா, ராகினி ஆகியோர் மீதும் குற்றப்பத்திரிகை தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
ஆசிரமத்தில் இருந்த ஒரு பையனும் தன்னை நித்யானந்தா ஓரினச் சேர்க்கைக்கு உட்படுத்தியது பற்றி சொல்லி யிருக்கிறார்.
வலுவான வாக்குமூலங்கள் கிடைத்திருக்கும் நிலையில், நித்யானந்தா மீது என்ன ஆக்ஷன் எடுக்கப்படும் என்று சி.ஐ.டி. வட்டாரத்தில் நாம் கேட்டபோது, ""இது கல்ட் ஆக்ஷன் என்ற வகையில் சேர்கிறது. அதாவது, திட்டமிட்டே ஒரு கும்பலாக இப்படி செயல்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள் என்பது தண்டனைக்குரிய குற்றமாகும்'' என் கின்றனர்.
நித்யானந்தா மீது முதலில் புகார் கொடுத்த லெனின் தர்மானந்தா நம்மிடம், ""நான் நக்கீரனில் ஏற்கனவே சொல்லியிருக்கிறேன். நித்யானந்தா மோசமான ஆள் என்று எனக்கு முதலில் தெரிந்தது 2009ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் , இந்த 2010-ல் அதே நவம்பர் 27-ந் தேதிதான் அவர் மீது சார்ஜ் ஷீட் போடப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. பலபேர் வாழ்க்கையில் விளையாடிய அவர் தப்பிக்கவே முடியாது'' என்கிறார் உறுதியான குரலில்.
குற்றப்பத்திரிகை தாக்கல் செய்ததை எதிர்த்து நித்யானந்தா தொடர்ந்த மனுவை உயர்நீதிமன்றம் தள்ளுபடி செய்துவிட, குவாஷ் பெட்டிஷன் மீதான விசாரணை வரும் 7-ந் தேதிக்குத் தள்ளி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. சட்டத்தின் இறுக்கமான பிடிக்குள் நித்யானந்தாவும் அவரது ஆட்களும் சிக்கியுள்ள நிலையில், நித்திக்கு ஆதரவாக ரத்தக் கையெழுத்துடன் ஜனாதிபதிக்கு கடிதம் அனுப்பும் வேலையில் ஆசிரமத் தரப்புத் தீவிரமாகியுள்ளது.

Conditional bail for Nithyananda associate
Bangalore, December 4, DHNS:
The Karnataka High Court on Friday granted conditional bail to Nitya Sachidananda, a close associate of self-styled godman Nithyananda, allegedly involved in a sex scandal.
Hearing the bail plea, Justice N Ananda granted conditional bail and asked him to furnish a personal bond of Rs 50,000. He was directed to appear before the court whenever hearing takes place and also not to tamper with evidence.
With a condition to co-operate with the authorities probing into the matter, the Court directed Sachidananda to surrender his passport. However, liberty has been granted to him to move for relaxation of the condition whenever it is necessary.
Sachidananda, a non-resident Indian, was arrested on November 16 on charges of destruction of evidence in the criminal cases faced by Nithyananda, including rape.

Nityananda case: HC dismisses plea challenging charge sheet

The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday rejected a plea by self-styled godman Nityananda for furnishing him a copy of the charge sheet filed against him by CID in connection with a rape case he faced.
Justice C R Kumaraswamy also dismissed an application by Nityananda who had sought a direction to the CID not to file the charge sheet, on the ground that it has already been submitted before the jurisdictional magistrate.
The CID, which investigated the case, had filed the charge sheet on November 27 before the chief judicial magistrate at Ramanagara, charging Nityananda with rape and unnatural sex and also against four of his associates for abetting the crime.
The CID today submitted a copy of the charge sheet before the high court and the counsel for Nityananda pleaded that the court provide him a copy, which the judge rejected.
The judge directed the chief judicial magistrate to furnish a copy of the charge sheet to the accused and also Nityananda's counsel to go through the procedure to get it.
The judge adjourned hearing of the criminal petition filed by Nityananda praying for quashing of two FIRs lodged against him to December seven.
Nityananda landed in a controversy after a purported video footage of him in a compromising position with an actress was aired on local Tamil channels. He was arrested in Himachal Pradesh on April 21.

The CID, which investigated the case, had filed the charge sheet on November 27 before the chief judicial magistrate at Ramanagara, charging Nithyananda with rape and unnatural sex and also against four of his associates for abetting the crime.
The CID today submitted a copy of the charge sheet before the high court and the counsel for Nithyananda pleaded that the court provide him a copy, which the judge rejected.
The judge directed the chief judicial magistrate to furnish a copy of the charge sheet to the accused and also Nithyananda's counsel to go through the procedure to get it.
The judge adjourned hearing of the criminal petition filed by Nithyananda praying for quashing of two FIRs lodged against him to December 7.
Nithyananda landed in a controversy after a purported video footage of him in a compromising position with an actress was aired on local Tamil channels. He was arrested in Himachal Pradesh on April 21.

CID files chargesheet against Nithyananda, 4 associates
Controversial self-styled godman Nithyananda and four of his associates have been accused of rape and unnatural sex in a charge sheet filed by CID in a court near here.
The 430-page charge sheet filed before Ramanagara Chief Judicial Magistrate on November 27 has named Nithyananda, Nitya Bhaktananda, Nithya Sachidananda, Nithya Sachidananda and Maa Sachidananda alias Ragini on the basis of two FIRs filed against them, a CID statement said here today.
While charges under IPC Sections 376 (Rape), 377 (Unnatural sex), 417 (Cheating) 506 (Criminal Intimidation) and 120 B (Criminal Conspiracy) have been made out against Nithyananda, Nithya Bhaktananda has been booked under IPC Section 212 (Harbouring an offender) and 120 (B).
Nithyananda, who ran an ashram at Bidadi in the city outskirts, was mired in a controversy and had absconded after a purported video footage of him in a compromising position with an actress was aired on local Tamil channels. He was arrested in Himachal Pradesh on April 21.
The charge sheet was filed by CID officer K N Yogappa, who investigated the complaint by two former disciples K Lenin of Chennai and T N Vishwanath after examining 101 witnesses in India and abroad and collecting more than 60 documents, it said.
Nitya Sachidananda, Nitya Sadananda and Maa Sachidananda have also been accused of assisting Nityananda in committing rape and unnatural sex.
Nithyananda and Nitya Bhaktananda, who were arrested from Himachal Pradesh have been enlarged on bail, while Nitya Sachidananda arrested recently is now in judicial custody. Maa Sachidanand and Nithya Sadananda have not been arrested.
During investigation, a woman witness, whose identity was kept confidential, appeared before the Investigating Officer and deposed that she was repeatedly raped by Nithyananda, not only at his Bidadi ashram but in other parts of the country as well, the CID said.
Nithyananda allegedly deceived the victim by stating she would achieve enlightenment if she subjected herself to his sexual demands and it would lead to the path of 'moksha' (salvation).
During investigation, a number of agreements signed between devotees and ashram authorities taking consent of devotees for taking part in 'tantrik sex' were also seized.
Many more such agreements were destroyed a few days before the case came to light, the CID said.
The video CD produced by the complainant while lodging the FIR was sent for forensic analysis, which confirmed the recording was genuine and the image was that of Nityananda.
Meanwhile hearing on the criminal petition filed by Nityananda seeking quashing of two FIRs was today adjourned by the High Court to December 1.
