So legally, Nithyananda is authorised to use only those 2 acres of land for all his non-agricultural (ashram) activities, including constructing all his buildings there.

However, as documentary evidence has clearly revealed, remaining 38 acres are still agricultural land and is being illegally used by Nithyananda for commercial purposes. The Ramnagar DC had notified Nithyananda's ashram in 2012 about this illegality and demanded a response to this misuse of agricultural land. However, nothing has been done by Nithyananda or his ashram to comply with the law, as required by the DC.

The media questioned why the govt. has not taken any action in this matter against Nithyananda since last 1&1/2 years. Speaking to reporters , the Chief Minister Mr. Siddharamiah said that the revenue minister will look into this issue and take necessary legal action against Nithyananda and his ashram.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
